This place is very expensive but they will help u with financing. $ aside, they might b 1 of the best animals hospitals in existence. They saved my dog who really shouldn't b alive right now. They per4med miracles. They have specialists of every kind here. My dog Zeus had heart surgery here as well as seeing an internist, a cardiologist, a dental surgeon & an opthamologist. Although they had were short a doctor due to vacation the Gilbert Veterinary Hospital was able to squeeze my cat with a bad front paw limp in the following day. I was so thankful but even more so when the next morning she was walking with just a slight limp and not carrying her front paw around which hurt (bad nail trim locally I suspect). I was able to cancel the appointment but still thank Gilbert Veterinary for being able to fit us into their busy schedule. Read Less

We have taken both of our dogs here and could not be happier. The entire staff is very friendly and courteous and the doctors take the time to answer your questions instead of rushing you out the door. They present different care options when available instead of some places that seem to guide you toward the most expensive treatment regardless of necessity. Recently we took our cat Pasha to Gilbert Veterinary Hospital for the first time. My husband had researched their rating and found it to be excellent. Pasha got updated on her shots and a general checkup. Dr. Julie Bode was gentle and thorough. She suggested a food that we've started her on which should help balance her weight. The vet techs are friendly, knowledgeable and are great at answering any questions we have or addressing any concerns for our pups. First I will say everyone there is awesome. I was given an appointment with DR. AMANDA DUDLEY who I thought was just amazing, I liked the fact that she did not just walk in and start poking and examining my dog. instead she took her time and kind of introduced herself to him, gave him a chance to be comfortable before she went into the exam. My family has been a client of this hospital since I was very young. I continue to use them for my pets as an adult, and will continue to do so. The staff is friendly, they treat your pets with respect and make you feel like your needs are important. The doctors are wonderful. They get on the floor with my dogs and make them feel comfortable. I've never had a bad experience. One of the vets had a formal dinner party to go to one night, but stayed to stitch my dogs lip that had been cut open by a rock. Wonderful staff all around! The doctors truly seem to care about your animals. I have never felt that they try and push unnecessary treatments or testing, and never felt judged if I chose to forgo certain tests. I LOVE this Veterinary practice! We have lived in multiple states which has given us the opportunity to go to multiple practices over the years. This one is at the top of my list. We found this practice 5 years ago after being disappointed with several other offices. The office staff, the techs and the Veterinarians themselves are all wonderful. We have seen Dr, Scott, Dr. Dudley and Dr. Balke and have had great experiences with each of them. I would be comfortable seeing any of the doctors but those three are the ones who have always treated our dogs. They are also AAHA approved which in our experience is an added bonus.
