We've been taking our two dogs here for almost 8 years now, and the service has been great every time. The staff here is so polite and helpful. All the doctors here are amazing, but Dr. Sam is especially wonderful. He is always polite and helpful and goes above and beyond when it comes to your pets' health. He is remarkably patient and is willing to answer any and all of your questions. He never trivializes our concerns either. What I especially like about him is that he involves you in the examination process. For example, when he checks our dogs' eyes, ears, and listens to their breathing and heartbeats, he let's us look and listen as well. It gives you a measure of comfort and makes you feel like you are part of the process. I wish I could give more stars to this place. Read Less

We followed our vet, Dr. Oliver from his previous office, where he was an associate vet to Higley road that he purchased. Wife and I have always had several dogs and cats in 27 years of marriage and both agree that he is by far the best vet we have ever seen. He is honest and will give all the possible alternatives to make sure your furry family member gets the best possible care while recognizing that most of us do have some budget constraints. I have been taking my husky "Kota" to this office since he was 10 weeks old in January. I have had a few stressful issues and Dr. Graham has been amazing. Her support goes above and beyond and I am so appreciative. Husky's are a hyper breed and she gets right down on the floor with him to make him feel comfortable. The office staff is also wonderful. We took our two dogs to Higley Road Vet Clinic after reading on-line reviews and referral by another vet that had a two-week wait before our dogs could be seen. Dr. Sam was very thorough in his exam and explained everything he was doing. It was determined both dogs needed dental work. We have been going to the same vet in Iowa for almost 30 years, so it was very hard to leave them for their surgery. But it did help that we got to meet Dr. Oliver on the day of our first visit. Before doing any surgery, he called to explain the issues with each dog. A diagram had been provided so we could see exactly which tooth he was talking about. I've never met a vet (or human doctor) quite as dedicated and invested as Dr. Oliver. He gives you his time, and you can tell he cares.. not just about your pet, but that you are comfortable and understand your options regarding your dog's health. I've been to many other vets what try to rush as many customers through their door as possible, and won't pick up the phone until you come pay them a fee for an additional office visit. We have been taking our dogs and cats to Dr Sam Wolf for several years. He has been an amazing veterinarian. There are two other veterinarians at this location as well. Dr. Oliver is the owner and he used to work at an 24 hour emergency pet hospital in Mesa Arizona.  Dr. Graham is so thorough with her pet exam and explains everything.  The nice part is that they are always upfront about costs for treatment and services. The entire staff loves animals and this is a great place to take your pets.  Give them a call they are about 25 minutes away South of the 60 freeway on Higley. 480-396-9800.  I should also share with you all that my 3 year old Westhighland Terrier was bit by a diamondback rattlesnake a month ago. They recommend 1st Pet Care. This 24 hour emergency pet hospital is north of the 60 freeway and then a right onto Southern, just down a block on the left hand side of the road. They saved my dog from dying.  In all he spent 3 days total to clear his system of venom. This place also explained what needed to be done and provided a cost sheet. I wish I could find a Doctor as remarkable as Dr. Gary Oliver for myself. He goes into depth about options for what could be wrong and the recovery process. He doesn't just call and say, "Yep he tested negative for Valley Fever. Any questions?" He shares every bit of knowledge he has about the situation and doesn't use Doctor jargon. When examining my loved one he took the time to try everything to find out what was causing him pain. Everything is reasonably priced and I wouldn't be willing to take my Duke to anyone else. Today was my first visit here and wow!!! I was blown away. The vet I saw took the time to slowly check my dog. He let me look into my dogs ears eyes and nose to see what he was seeing. He took the time to hear all my concerns and gave me lots of information and websites to check out! The other vet there come in and met us as well since it was our first visit! I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. Dr. Oliver is a very knowledgeable doctor and very easy to work with. He keeps us informed of what is going on, follows up on visits and clearly enjoys what he does. When my dog had a recent vaccination and I told Dr. Oliver that she had had bad reactions in the past, he sent us home with some pain reliever and called the next day to see how she was doing. They take care of both my dogs and as you can imagine each dog has a completely different personality. They cured Dexter's allergy problem with a non-steroid medicine this year and Dr. Sam and everyone at the Clinic was so sweet to Dakota today who is usually really scared of strangers and specifically men. Absolutely love this place. Dr. Sam is the sweetest, my dog has a lot of anxiety and is scared of men but he's so gentle with her she tolerates being there. Dr. Oliver is an excellent vet who has just taken over this clinic. He is very welcoming, taking time to get to know our pets and making us feel at ease because of his friendly nature. I have been going to Dr. Sam for about 5-6 years now. With 4 energetic black labs who hike, camp, kayak, hunt and play rough, I have presented Dr. Sam and staff with some doozies, along with the usual assortment of skin infections, crappy ears, etc etc. They have remained consistent in the care and treatment of all our dogs. They are warm and friendly, the dogs dont mind going there and they behave admirably for all the things the Drs. and staff have had to do for them. Their pricing is very reasonable and Dr. Sam is always conscious of my various budget concerns. Dr. Sam is thorough, very knowledgeable and extremely flexible in finding the right treatment and solutions to the medical issues and injuries I have drug through his doors. Maybe I went in there with too high of expectations because of all the positive feedback, but I was very unimpressed. I was charged for a bunch of tests that all came back negative because they were just testing him randomly with no idea of what was wrong. I didn't feel like they had any idea what they were doing. I ended up having to take my dog to an emergency vet because of how unhelpful they were and the lack of direction they gave me. And then they wouldn't work with me on payments or anything, all they cared about was getting paid. My pet's health was not a concern. So I basically spent hundreds of dollars on nothing. I suppose if your pets issue are basic and you don't care how much money you spend, they are fine. But don't go in expecting any compassion. I am shocked by all the good reviews.Read Less

Dr. Sam and his staff are wonderful. He is so kind and gentle with my dogs especially as they are getting up there in age, and he also is wonderful with a very wiggly large puppy.
