This place is amazing! They helped my big baby of a pitbull Luciano. He is suffering from valley fever and now he is back to him goofy self! I have been coming to this vet for years and will never go to another. I have had multiple dogs with multiple ailments and they have always taken great care of my babies...Even when my aggressive dog broke out of his kennel after being neutered and they had to call me to pick him up early because they couldn't access any other dogs...These people actually care about your pets & will work with you if you need a payment plan. The only reason I am not giving 5 stars is because when we had to put my dog down, the doctor asked the vet tech if she made sure to include the sedative on the invoice while he was injecting my dog with the euthanasia drug. I just thought that was a little tasteless and he could have waited until they left room. Regardless, I will continue to use them as long as they are in business. I had my blind and deaf chihuahua euthanized at this vet hospital. They did a terrible job. I wasn't allowed to see him at all, they were unable to calm him down and forcefully handled him to the point he was so scared he peed himself. Despite him being so inconsolable, they forced a catheter in him and because of his emotional state, it ripped out and he lost so much blood. His last sober moments were fear, confusion, and sadness. When they brought him to me he was drugged out of his mind, he had no idea where he was or that I was even there. They failed at putting the needle in him 3 or 4 times, had to stop and began shaving his fur off. They didn't vocalize any of this to me, and through my tears I couldn't focus on my own. They didn't tell me anything, when they finally succeeded sticking him for the 100th time, when they administered the medicine, nothing. They just told me when he was dead and left. We have been so happy with the care and attention our animals have received at Animal Ranch Animal Hospital. The staff is wonderful - caring, super-helpful, and very accommodating. They will do whatever they can to assist you. And the doctors themselves take time to carefully examine your pet family-members, and also answer any questions you have. Went here for my puppy whom was diagnosed with parvo. Thank God he is alive today's and kickin it. However through the entire process of his treatments, I would call if I had questions and more than multiple times the lady in the front said they will call back with the doctor. No one ever called, nor have we ever received a call from them, even after he was healed, and for his set of shots. They literally bill us every month, and I never receive a response from them. It sucks. Their service was nice. But as for trying to get ahold of someone for medical attention via phone or set up appointments. It was terrible. Read Less

We found Arrowhead Ranch Animal Hospital and Grooming since 2010. They are very professional, helpful and understanding. The vets are so informative and I have learned a lot from them. Our Lily, a Yorkie, has stomach issues since she was born(she is 10 years old now) and sometimes its hard to find someone who understands but they do. I recommend the vets and groomers as well. Dr. Ardelt and Dr. Glanzberg and staff couldn't have been kinder and more supportive when we had to make the hard decision to let our Bashy boy cross the Rainbow Bridge after a long illness. I have always had exceedingly wonderful care here, and now live in Apache Junction and STILL bring my animals to see Dr. Ardelt. Several years ago, my guitar instructor and dear friend referred me to Arrowhead Ranch Veterinary Hospital to see our current vet, Dr. Glanzberg. He and the staff have stuck with us through good times and absolutely the worst times never giving up hope when situations were rough.My hubs and I have 3 labs. Yes, you heard me. 3! A couple of years ago, our oldest lab suffered from a strange auto immune disease, similar if not actually - hemolytic anemia. Her bone marrow was not making enough red blood cells and those that were made were attacked by her immune system. I thought at 9 years old, we would lose her, but with chemo and a lot of TLC from this hospital's staff, she hung in there and is even more energetic than ever at 11 years old! Our other 2 labs are 5 and 1 years old. They arecomedians and when I recently took them in for a check up, I barely got them out of the jeep and the youngest wriggled free of her collar and scampered up and down the strip mall while the other pulled me the opposite direction sniffing the grounds. Two of the vet lab techs took swift action and bolted out of the clinic coming to my rescue to wrestle my two crazy labs inside. All I've seen is patience, quick thinking, and creativity with this staff! This animal hospital also has a proactive free vaccines for life program with a one time enrollment fee. You still have to pay for the office visit fee but the vaccines are covered as long as you promise to bring your pets in for their annual check up. Working in the medical field myself, I totally support preventative measures like this! Our pets are family and I like keeping them current this way! I'd recommend this office to everyone! Read Less

Will never take my dog here again. EVERY TIME I went in, the prices seemed really upscale and they ALWAYS tried to get me to get unnecessary procedures, tests, exams on my dog that weren't any of the least necessary. They seemed to always try to make up that my dog needed this and that and all this extra irrelevant stuff I should pay for when my dog didn't need any thing close to it! All they try to do is sell, sell, sell because all they care about is MONEY. They will even give your dog diseases so then you will have to pay a fortune more for tests, treatment and medication. I went in to get my dog spayed and when they were done, my dog suddenly had worms and they wanted me to pay$60 just for a stool sample to get tested to see if it was actually worms! and then if it did, i would have to pay for treatment. My dog NEVER had worms and diaherea until after I brought her there and I went to another vet and had her worms taken care of for a way cheaper price than ARH was asking for. This place is a scam and they will harm your dog for as much money as they can pump out of you. Read Less

Yesterday evening we had an emergency with our Yorkie. She was vomiting and had bloody stools and was lethargic. This all came about over a 1/2 hour time frame. We called Arrowhead and even though it was 5 min. before they closed. Belinda told us to come down. When we arrived, Dr. Marty came out right away, assessed Fergie and the took her back to work on her. We thought she might have been bitten by something but we're not sure. The staff worked with her for over an hour, got her stabilized and Emily and Belinda diligently looked for bite marks. They never gave up and Emily found the bee stinger between Fergie's toes. It amazed us that a little been sting could almost killed our dog. Thank you Emily, Belinda and Dr. Marty for saving our little Fergie! Read Less

I took my dog to get spayed at a different place about two weeks ago but the incision started to open. We brought my pup here and immediately they took her in, stapled her abdomen, and gave us meds. I was worried everything would be really expensive but ended up being about $60. The staff is very friendly as well.Read Less

I had to have my dog put down this week and I have to say their staff was incredible! Under the circumstances they made us all comfortable as possible. He was a very special dog to me and I wanted to have his ashes back. They easily broke that into 2 payments so my wallet wouldn't take such a hard hit.
