Took care of my sweet kitty when her got bit and had an abscess. Was in and out and kitty is doing great. Very nice staff, and took us in when our regular vet didn't have any openings early morning.

I was very hesitant to post a review at first as my dog recently passed a few days after surgery however after my experience with Happy Valley Animal Hospital after my dog passing I feel I should share. I call around to 20 different vets because my dog was extremely sick and needed an XRay. Not only did I need in ASAP but I needed a price that I could afford and a place willing to work with me. Not only did they get her in same day but their price was the cheapest compared to the other vets I called. They also offered in house payment plan with no interest. Unfortunately my dog needed surgery which they were able to get scheduled the next day (as I came late in the day for the XRay). They called me several times to check in and inform me the status of my dog and as soon as she was out of surgery. When I picked my dog up the vet spoke with me directly. They again worked with me on the payment for the surgery with me being unable to put more money down. They gave me accurate prices for best and worse case scenarios. After I brought my dog home post surgery they called to checked on her several times. Unfortunately my dog passed a few days later due to other unknown health issues. They worked with me after the fact and took back the special post op food and removed the cost from my bill. Dr. Kaylee Yoshimoto called me after hours to talk to me and comfort me. Then to my surprise they had flowers delivered to my house in memory of my dog. At such a sad time it felt good knowing how much they care. It was my first time to this vet and I am considering taking my other dog here from now on.

They're caring, professional and my fur babies do not have a problem going there because they're so kind . I've had to put my babies to sleep and they helped make that hole gut-wrenching process go as smoothly as possible. I get continued excellent Veterinary Care here. Their prices are more than fair and they even allow you to set up a payment plan if you can't pay 100% the day of your visit . Please check them out and you will feel the same way I do. Great groomers and drs! I take my two pups here for check ups and hair cuts and they do both great! The drs are really friendly and knowledgeable. They’ve always given me suggested courses of action but I’ve never felt forced or pressured to do anything/ buy anything extra which I appreciate. They also give a free evaluation if you adopt a pet which is 5 stars in my book!

Okay, so I've been to a handful of vets in the surrounding area and I've never really had an issue with any of them. I chose this particular vet due to them being open on Sunday and being located very close to my house.The facilities are clean, the people are polite, and the prices are reasonable. Or at least for the particular issue my dog was having. If it's your first visit, you'll receive half-off the exam fee. We experienced no pressure when we denied some of the recommendations they suggested.My chihuahua hates going to the vet and can immediately recognize that he's at one based on the smell alone. Fortunately, the doctor who was assigned to us (Dr. Stockmann) and staff were all very patient and understanding. We were prescribed the appropriate medication for his eye irritation, as well as the usual instructions on how to apply.Honestly, no one really wants to take their dog to the vet. And the less I have to take my dog there, the better off things are. But if the situation calls for it, I see no reason that I wouldn't use them again.Recommended!

We had taken our loved pet here and they were extremely gentle and caring. When we had to say goodbye to her they even sent us a hand written card in the mail. I have never been to such a caring vet. I will recommend them over and over.

I am new to Arizona and have had awesome veterinary€ hospitals when I lived in California and in Nevada, I tried Academy West veterinary hospital that a friend recommended but wasn't completely satisfied with the level of care I got when I took my dog in for what turned out to be valley fever. I unfortunately had to put our senior dog down and I used Happy Valley Animal Hospital, they treated us like we lost a child not just a dog, so when one of our dogs we rescued from an abusive home had to have his nails trimmed, I brought him here and he made friends with the vet tech, which is a HUGE milestone because it's taken years for him to trust us, let a lone a stranger, I expected them to come running from the back with him chasing them and that wasn't the case, they didn't even have to sedate him. I took my other dog in recently for an injured foot, they listened to the treatment I had tried prior to bringing her in, sedated her, lanced her foot and looked for a fox tail that could possibly be stuck in her foot and they looked to see if they saw any puncture wounds from a rattle snake. They didn't find anything but the fact they went the extra mile, and treated us like this was a human child not just a dog, makes me want to keep going back. I love the fact they don't keep bankers hours so I can bring my dogs in around my work schedule makes it that much better.

We previously took our two fur babies to a well-known chain veterinary office and were unhappy. It was time for their yearly check-ups and I stumbled across Happy Valley Animal. I called, made the appointment and off we went. The staff was amazing, the vet tech was awesome and the vet was phenomenal! My dogs, like most, loathe the vet's office but it was a relatively painless process!We will definitely be back!

They were so compassionate and kind. Today I had to bring my cat Max in for a respiratory emergency. Once again.....superior care. I've been using these guys for the past 10 tears.

I didn't give a 5 star because I would hope the vet that treated my animal would have the courtesy to call me and tell me what she did and/or found. I never talked to the vet that treated my pet afterwards. I found another place for next time.

I had a vet prior to calling Happy Valley Animal Hospital but was treated at my current vet with unkindness. A friend of mine referred me to Happy Valley Hospital and it was a blessing. I called to speak with someone about the final days of my Cindi and nothing but kindness and sympathy came from the voice on the other end. Today I brought my Cindi in to see the doctor knowing what the outcome would be. Dr. Saltzman and his staff were more than I ever thought they would be. Thank you so much for your kindness, professionalism, and humane way you helped me and my family let go of Cindi. This was the most heart-wrenching decisons I had to make and I am glad you helped me through it. My family and I will forever be grateful to you.

New resident to the area and had to find a veterinarian for my older cat who had started having seizures. They were able to get him looked at quickly and the vet, Dr. Chris Stockmann, was professional but friendly and went over everything they recommended but also gave us options for an informed decision. They took fantastic care of my cat and his seizures have stopped on medication. On follow-up, Dr. Kaylee Yoshimoto, was also very informative and caring. From the front desk to the techs to the doctors, this animal hospital rocks!

We didn't find this place until our beloved lab, st Bernard, Dane mix big guy had a cough at 10 y.o. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I never felt pressure of an up sell for the treatment options. Unfortunately our big dog was really sick with multiple large tumors in his lungs. The Dr contacted me with the results and stayed on the phone to explain and answer all my questions. When they day finally came the Dr assured us there was nothing more we could do for him at this stage. They handled the euthanasia with absolute kindness and care.
When our family is ready to have a new pet member this will be where we will go to insure they have all the proper care from start.

Lexie was 13 and fell in to the pool, we got her out right away but she had taken in so much water. They all did everything possible and I know Lexie was fighting to live. They all stayed over their closing time trying to help her. Lexie started getting worse so we all went back there to be with her, she passed away We have been going to Happy Valley Animal Hospital for years, all the Vets are awesome and care so much about all the animals that are taken there. They are so kind and caring for the pets owners too!

The staff at this clinic are very caring and kind. I rescued a puppy 2 years ago and they literally saved her life after the rescue I got her from wouldn't respond. I saved an abandoned kitten the other night and brought him in to make sure he was healthy. They explained the common illnesses that he could have and treated him for what they could for his age. They gave him a free bag of kitten food and the dr called today to see how he is doing. I highly recommend them.

On Sunday our "pup", Corbin, got into our bathroom trash can and ate many unknown items. We were able to get in and see a veterinarian very quickly. The entire staff was amazing! Every single person there was helpful and made sure that we were informed about every step in the process. They took great care of Corbin and had him fixed up in a very short time. Rusty is almost six years old and has always been healthy. We've always taken him to "Vetco" for his vaccinations, and he's never been to a vet. However, he got in a little tangle with a barbed-wire fence last weekend and needed urgent care. This was the closest vet to home, so we called and they gave us an appointment just 15 minutes notice!The staff was all pleasant and courteous, with a good "kennel-side" manner. Rusty needed stitches, but all the day's spots for appointments for surgery had been filled. The vet (Dr. K. Yoshimoto had him stay until they found a slow spot in the day to sedate and stitch him up.We picked up Rusty later in the afternoon. Although very groggy, he was fine. When he came around later on, he didn't seem to be in any pain and was in good spirits. He had at least ten stitches, and they were very neatly done. A few days later they are still perfectly intact, and Rusty doesn't even know he's been wounded. We are giving him the anti-biotics and anti-inflammatories the vet sent him home with. The prices were so reasonable that I see no reason to ever take him to a bargain vaccination clinic again. He also had his vaccinations while he was there, and they were less expensive than the bargain places.All in all, I think this Veterinary clinic is great and deserves high marks.

2 German Shepards and 2 cats. Sad. All over 12 years, but hurtful. (Family) They really did not only make us feel better, but those last moments were censure. I wasn't the only one saying good bye. They we're too.
Always wanted to say this so hope it helps. Swear this is a good place. Cough up the money.... it's normal, and get good care. PETS are family... not expendable.

Dr. Saltzman is fantastic! He did the perennial hernia surgery for our dog 3 years ago and the surgery didn't take very well due to some communication issues on aftercare. He re-evaluated him 3 years later and offered to do what he could to try to repair again at no cost. Dr. Saltzman and the staff at this facility deserve more than 5 stars, but that's all I can give them.

Very nice facility and courteous. Reasonable on the treatment and vaccination prices. However some charges that we were quoted for treatment of our dog we thought were outrageous. $75.00 to mildly sedate if needed (thank goodness it wasn't). We called to see if we needed pain meds what the charge would be. $25.00 for 5 pills. They had to wrap our 11 pound dog's foot and for that they charged $32.00. I thought that was highly overpriced.
I will return but i think that like in all medical centers, the pricing for things are ridiculous.

Okay, so I've been to a handful of vets in the surrounding area and I've never really had an issue with any of them. I chose this particular vet due to them being open on Sunday and being located very close to my house.The facilities are clean, the people are polite, and the prices are reasonable. Or at least for the particular issue my dog was having. If it's your first visit, you'll receive half-off the exam fee. We experienced no pressure when we denied some of the recommendations they suggested.My chihuahua hates going to the vet and can immediately recognize that he's at one based on the smell alone. Fortunately, the doctor who was assigned to us (Dr. Stockmann) and staff were all very patient and understanding. We were prescribed the appropriate medication for his eye irritation, as well as the usual instructions on how to apply.Honestly, no one really wants to take their dog to the vet. And the less I have to take my dog there, the better off things are. But if the situation calls for it, I see no reason that I wouldn't use them again.Recommended!

I was referred to this vet by a neighbor. Wonderful vet. Office is clean and very appealing. Staff is all very friendly and compassionate. We had taken our loved pet here and they were extremely gentle and caring. When we had to say goodbye to her they even sent us a hand written card in the mail. I have never been to such a caring vet. I will recommend them over and over.

I am new to Arizona and have had awesome veterinary€ hospitals when I lived in California and in Nevada, I tried Academy West veterinary hospital that a friend recommended but wasn't completely satisfied with the level of care I got when I took my dog in for what turned out to be valley fever. I unfortunately had to put our senior dog down and I used Happy Valley Animal Hospital, they treated us like we lost a child not just a dog, so when one of our dogs we rescued from an abusive home had to have his nails trimmed, I brought him here and he made friends with the vet tech, which is a HUGE milestone because it's taken years for him to trust us, let a lone a stranger, I expected them to come running from the back with him chasing them and that wasn't the case, they didn't even have to sedate him. I took my other dog in recently for an injured foot, they listened to the treatment I had tried prior to bringing her in, sedated her, lanced her foot and looked for a fox tail that could possibly be stuck in her foot and they looked to see if they saw any puncture wounds from a rattle snake. They didn't find anything but the fact they went the extra mile, and treated us like this was a human child not just a dog, makes me want to keep going back. I love the fact they don't keep bankers hours so I can bring my dogs in around my work schedule makes it that much better.

We previously took our two fur babies to a well-known chain veterinary office and were unhappy. It was time for their yearly check-ups and I stumbled across Happy Valley Animal. I called, made the appointment and off we went. The staff was amazing, the vet tech was awesome and the vet was phenomenal! My dogs, like most, loathe the vet's office but it was a relatively painless process!We will definitely be back!

I didn't give a 5 star because I would hope the vet that treated my animal would have the courtesy to call me and tell me what she did and/or found. I never talked to the vet that treated my pet afterwards. I found another place for next time.

I had a vet prior to calling Happy Valley Animal Hospital but was treated at my current vet with unkindness. A friend of mine referred me to Happy Valley Hospital and it was a blessing. I called to speak with someone about the final days of my Cindi and nothing but kindness and sympathy came from the voice on the other end. Today I brought my Cindi in to see the doctor knowing what the outcome would be. Dr. Saltzman and his staff were more than I ever thought they would be. Thank you so much for your kindness, professionalism, and humane way you helped me and my family let go of Cindi. This was the most heart-wrenching decisons I had to make and I am glad you helped me through it. My family and I will forever be grateful to you.

New resident to the area and had to find a veterinarian for my older cat who had started having seizures. They were able to get him looked at quickly and the vet, Dr. Chris Stockmann, was professional but friendly and went over everything they recommended but also gave us options for an informed decision. They took fantastic care of my cat and his seizures have stopped on medication. On follow-up, Dr. Kaylee Yoshimoto, was also very informative and caring. From the front desk to the techs to the doctors, this animal hospital rocks!

We didn't find this place until our beloved lab, st Bernard, Dane mix big guy had a cough at 10 y.o. The staff was always very friendly and helpful. I never felt pressure of an up sell for the treatment options. Unfortunately our big dog was really sick with multiple large tumors in his lungs. The Dr contacted me with the results and stayed on the phone to explain and answer all my questions. When they day finally came the Dr assured us there was nothing more we could do for him at this stage. They handled the euthanasia with absolute kindness and care.
When our family is ready to have a new pet member this will be where we will go to insure they have all the proper care from start.

Lexie was 13 and fell in to the pool, we got her out right away but she had taken in so much water. They all did everything possible and I know Lexie was fighting to live. They all stayed over their closing time trying to help her. Lexie started getting worse so we all went back there to be with her, she passed away We have been going to Happy Valley Animal Hospital for years, all the Vets are awesome and care so much about all the animals that are taken there. They are so kind and caring for the pets owners too!

The staff at this clinic are very caring and kind. I rescued a puppy 2 years ago and they literally saved her life after the rescue I got her from wouldn't respond. I saved an abandoned kitten the other night and brought him in to make sure he was healthy. They explained the common illnesses that he could have and treated him for what they could for his age. They gave him a free bag of kitten food and the dr called today to see how he is doing. I highly recommend them.

On Sunday our "pup", Corbin, got into our bathroom trash can and ate many unknown items. We were able to get in and see a veterinarian very quickly. The entire staff was amazing! Every single person there was helpful and made sure that we were informed about every step in the process. They took great care of Corbin and had him fixed up in a very short time. He's doing great and back to his rowdy self :)

They called me to check up and I told she was acting funny and they assured me they would call back. They never did. They are now sending me her records so I can take her to another vet, hopefully we can turn things around. "Have a nice day" was their response when I told them I was upset. Took both my dogs here, no more. I would avoid.

Though we are very sad about our loss we appreciate how we were treated during this difficult time. We would highly recommend veterinarian Dr. Mindy Bemmerl. Rusty is almost six years old and has always been healthy. We've always taken him to "Vetco" for his vaccinations, and he's never been to a vet. However, he got in a little tangle with a barbed-wire fence last weekend and needed urgent care. This was the closest vet to home, so we called and they gave us an appointment just 15 minutes notice!The staff was all pleasant and courteous, with a good "kennel-side" manner. Rusty needed stitches, but all the day's spots for appointments for surgery had been filled. The vet (Dr. K. Yoshimoto had him stay until they found a slow spot in the day to sedate and stitch him up.We picked up Rusty later in the afternoon. Although very groggy, he was fine. When he came around later on, he didn't seem to be in any pain and was in good spirits. He had at least ten stitches, and they were very neatly done. A few days later they are still perfectly intact, and Rusty doesn't even know he's been wounded. We are giving him the anti-biotics and anti-inflammatories the vet sent him home with. The prices were so reasonable that I see no reason to ever take him to a bargain vaccination clinic again. He also had his vaccinations while he was there, and they were less expensive than the bargain places.All in all, I think this Veterinary clinic is great and deserves high marks.

2 German Shepards and 2 cats. Sad. All over 12 years, but hurtful. (Family) They really did not only make us feel better, but those last moments were censure. I wasn't the only one saying good bye. They we're too.
Always wanted to say this so hope it helps. Swear this is a good place. Cough up the money.... it's normal, and get good care. PETS are family... not expendable.

Dr. Saltzman is fantastic! He did the perennial hernia surgery for our dog 3 years ago and the surgery didn't take very well due to some communication issues on aftercare. He re-evaluated him 3 years later and offered to do what he could to try to repair again at no cost. Dr. Saltzman and the staff at this facility deserve more than 5 stars, but that's all I can give them.

Very nice facility and courteous. Reasonable on the treatment and vaccination prices. However some charges that we were quoted for treatment of our dog we thought were outrageous. $75.00 to mildly sedate if needed (thank goodness it wasn't). We called to see if we needed pain meds what the charge would be. $25.00 for 5 pills. They had to wrap our 11 pound dog's foot and for that they charged $32.00. I thought that was highly overpriced.
I will return but i think that like in all medical centers, the pricing for things are ridiculous.
