In February, I went in for a service (I forgot what service), that day, their payment system was down so they took my card info on a piece of paper because they were going to "manually" bill me when the system was back up. Kind of sketch but whatever. Fast forward to May 13th, 2024, they send me a text message saying that I have an outstanding balance on the account from February of $111 due to THEM having technical difficulties and if I didn't take care of this balance, it was going to be sent to collections.
So because THEY had technical difficulties, they're threatening me with collections? Didn't they take my card info already though? What did they do with my private billing information? Think about all the people that went in that day that had their personal card information written on a piece of paper to then be "processed" at a later date. Obviously they never manually billed me or they wouldn't have threatened me with collections. So what did they do with my information? According to them, the Vet Tech who took down my information didn't correctly take down my card info and that is my fault how? Do you really want to trust your beloved animal in the hands of people who can't copy and paste simple digits? After all, being a Veterinarian is much more difficult than writing down numbers. Right? According to them, they shredded the paper with the information. Question is, how long did it take them to shred it after they wrote my info down? How many untrustworthy eyes saw my credit card information? I guess we'll never know. Funny thing, that same day (May 13th), I went in twice. Once to drop off my dog for grooming and another time to pick her up from grooming. Wouldn't it have been a good idea to give me a friendly reminder then? Pretty much everybody there just works for a paycheck, nobody really cares about your animals and that's the sad truth. Fake humble. Customer service is subpar. Apparently they sent me a letter in the mail regarding the situation, but how is that easier than just calling me? Or perhaps telling me in person since I was there two times in one day.
So, I went in the next day and paid the $111, not credit or debit (because obviously we can't trust them) I paid with 11,100 pennies that I got straight from the bank that morning. I'm sure it was going to take a couple hours to count so I left and returned the next day for my bucket and my invoice. I then proceed to read my invoice and it says that I paid $110.97. That's weird, I don't remember giving them 11, 097 pennies, I gave 11,100. Which means, someone did not give me my change which would have been 3 cents. I'm not tripping over 3 cents, just another example of how they can't be trusted with money. Either they did not count the 11,100 pennies correctly (I'm sure they didn't count twice to double check either) or the bank shorted me three cents. Which one is more likely? I always had a gut feeling this place was shady, always trust your intuition. How could I ever trust them with my pet again behind closed doors? NAH.
Apparently you can't write more than one review so I'm going to extend this and tell you about ANOTHER incident I had there.
My dog was limping, I took her in, they looked her over and said we needed to do X-RAYS, the problem would be found then. They waxed me for $800+ dollars on some INCONCLUSIVE X-RAYS. Doctor says now I need to cough up more money to do blood work, that the problem would be found then and blah blah blah. Well, unfortunately I am not a cash cow and I don't print money, therefore I couldn't proceed with the blood work for my poor baby. "We have payment options sir" OK? That doesn't change the fact that they waxed me for $800 and found nothing! Not even offer a little discount for having terrible diagnostic procedures. As a human, having no medical insurance, I can go to an X RAY place in town and they'll do it for $40-$100. That is totally reasonable. $800, is NOT reasonable. Sure, I didn't have to agree to it BUT that's exactly how they get you. They take advantage of your emotions. These people are worse than mechanic shops.

I can't say enough about the remarkable Doctors at Sarival~ being an animal rescuer, I've seen many good Docs and well not so good. Dr. Katie, Dr. Paul, Dr. Wes and Dr. Heidi are TOP NOTCH.
I have seen each of these Veterinarians and I would trust my animals lives with every single one of them. It's not often where you go to a doctor and want to see a different one all the time. Well I have no concerns as I trust each and every one of them implicitly. If you're in doubt of who to take your beloved animals to, look no more. They are incredible human beings who truly and genuinely care. The front staff & Vet techs are outstanding as well🤗

I've been taking my dog there for almost 7yrs and they are amazing. They are friendly, patient and you can tell they love animals. I took my Daisy there a couple weeks ago because she was sick and we did not have an appointment and they got us in ASAP.
It's a 20min drive for me and there are closer vets but I choose these guys.
They have chipped both my dog and my cat.

I took my ten year old Bichon in today and saw Dr. Emily McNeilly. She was very kind and explained everything that needed to be done and how much it would cost before doing anything. The care was good, but the prices are high. I paid $442.50 for an exam, three x-rays, and some fluids that were injected by a vet tech. The three x-rays were $271.00, which works out to over $90.00 dollars per x-ray. Kind of high when you know it was done with a digital machine with no supplies needed, and took about ten minutes time by a tech making maybe $15.00 an hour.
It is so sad that these local vets charge so much, it makes it very difficult to care for our pets as we and they get older. I wonder how many older people have to chose between taking the dog to the vet or eating. And yes I know they offer financing, but where does that money come from to pay it back.

You can tell the employees don’t like working there. Its like going to a used car dealership, they give you astronomical quotes. The groomer mishandled my dogs ears; she got the worst ear infection Ive ever seen in the matter of a few days. They quoted me $450 to treat her and it was their fault. I was discounted $100. They wrote on her medical reports that I was a fussy mom. Ive always tipped well and been so nice to them; however, always left feeling detested. I suppose my instincts were right. I really hate to post this because I like to think the best of folks, but my sweet dog and I have been treated poorly by these people on more than 1 occasion; I kept giving them chances, the ear infection was the last shot. I will say, they have a new front desk girl that is sweet; maybe they are changing a new leaf, too late for me though.

We have a wonderful new veterinarian for our pet in our neighborhood. The vet and vet assistant were so professional and very helpful. The convenience of staying in one room to check in and pay for the services was awesome. On site labs and prescriptions make it very easy to get our pet treated in one stop. The easy parking and shade in this brutal heat helped immensely with sensitive paws walking on pavement and sidewalks. The care and compassion from the people here, helped with what I'm sure for our pet is a scary trip to the doctor. She is such a good dog!

Every exam is at least a nearly $50 charge, want a second opinion because you didn't have a good experience with the vet? Come back in for another $50 charge...our pets are not guinea pigs. You either know what you're doing or you don't but unfortunately the customer (no matter how loyal or longstanding) will have to suffer for it. I won't recommend this place ever again. Save yourself some money and don't keep wasting your time here - this coming from a once loyal patron.

Awesome customer service and care. Our family dog, Conrad broke out in hives on a Sunday. Originally Our appointment was for Wednesday. However, when I called to let them know that Conrad had gotten worst, they were able to fit us in same day. Dr. Schomburg was attentive and helped ease our worries as she developed a treatment plan. She also did a follow-up call the next day to check on Conrad and further discuss the treatment plan.
A few days later, when we took him back for blood work, Stephanie, the technician tasked with taking care of Conrad was friendly and put him at ease.
It is nice to know that the staff at this facility puts the care and welfare of their pet patients as priority.

Several years ago, once of the vets told me that my "Owner Protective Dog," a rescue was a "BAD SEED," and should be put down.Why I ever returned to this practice for my cat is beyond me, but it is close.Late January, I brought my 15 year old, 4 pound Maine Coon cat, who was very badly matted, I openly admit, to be groomed. Upon picking her up, a young woman brought Stevie out in her carrier. She was agitated and in a big rush, rushing I and my father out. She said that my 4 pound cat had really ACTED UP, that she sustained 3 2 mm cuts on her stomach which were glued with surgical glue and that the grooming could not be completed.I can certainly see how a 15 year old 4 pound sedated cat could ACT UP and stop professionals from grooming her. (NOT)Stevie came home with all of the behavior of a traumatized cat. She does have hypothyroidism, but she NEVER had a problem breathing before; she never wheezed, retched, had whistling in her throat, nor had a problem eating. My happy, sweet, jolly, Maine Coon came home a traumatized and injured animal.I called and asked for an investigation and a report. Just got a phone call--no report. The vet on call during the "DOESN"T RECALL ANYTHING UNSUAL." Doesn't recall. I asked for a refund for the grooming, as it was both incomplete and MY CAT'S STOMACH HAD TO BE SURGICALLY GLUED IN 3 PLACES. They told me it was my cat's fault because of her age--and cat's become thin skinned. Well, if that is the case, then why was that not taken into consideration before using whatever grooming tool (torture device) was used. Certainly, there are protocols for grooming heavily matted aging cats. Or perhaps, the grooming should have been stopped when my 4 pound 15 year old cat was acting up. Perhaps I should have been called and made aware of the situation, so I could decide and advocate on behalf of my helpless cat. That seems to be quite reasonable. But, alas no. I WAS an almost 12 year client, but I WAS REFUSED A REFUND for the grooming. This is after being charged close to $700 for blood work a few months ago.Great customer service, Goodyear Animal Hospital. Great Care for your clients and their pets.It appears that your bottom line means more to you than the animals under your stewardship and your human clients.Shame on you a thousand times over.

This is by far the best animal hospital EVER!! The staff is always so nice and helpful, and they really do go above and beyond to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I have 5 different pets that come here and each one of them is treated like they are family. Dr. Thompson is our favorite, especially with our cat Cleo. She has pancreatitis, and it flares up every few months. Dr. Thompson always takes good care of her and doesn't go overboard with ordering tests that are not needed on an older sick kitty. She truly is the best!!

We started going to Goodyear Animal Hospital in June after getting our puppy. We had a great first visit, but the second one....not so much. However, the staff showed great care that we were unhappy and were more than willing to rectify the situation. There efforts were not just heard, but seen. We have since transferred the care of our cat here as well. They are currently caring for our puppy after a Xylitol overdose....we were worried we were going to lose him ...but he has been with them since Friday and so far so good. The doctors are great with keeping us filled in on his progress and the techs are amazing...and always very welcoming when we are there visiting. It helps knowing he's in good hands. Thank you!

We were able to call ahead to start our file for quicker service as well. Four staples and meds later our pup is on the way to recovery! Customer service was good, building was clean.

Not sure why I am just writing a review after over two years. We own a small scale rescue in Ajo, AZ and would never use any place else for our dogs cares. Two years ago I rescued a paralyzed dog in Tijuana, Mexico. Today she is no longer paralyzed and runs like the wind, without any surgery. Dr Fan and Sean were instrumental in Dulce's ongoing care and recovery. Over the past two years we have seen several of the vets and techs at Goodyear. Not one time did we ever have a problem getting an appointment and we've been treated better than expected, every single time. They've worked with us on billing, as rescues are limited on funds a lot of the time, and cared for our dogs as if they were their own. I cannot say enough good things about Goodyear Animal Hospital and their staff!

Sadly I ended up having to put her down 4 days ago and they were awesome. I received a sympathy card and her ashes and memorial was nice. This has been very hard on me. Thanks to a caring and professional staff. I will continue to use this office for my other cat.

While the care of my dog was great, they can't get their act together when it comes to billing. My bill never reflects what I've paid, they run my card without my permission, then send you to collections for non payment since May when you paid 6 weeks ago. And the notice is for a different amount than what is owed. Never will I go there again. Plus they lied to me about the condition of my dog so that I would pay for surgery when I point blank asked if her injuries were survivable. Then I take her in for a check up and everyone comments how they didn't think she was going to make it. Way to pull money out of a customer.

Having moved here recently with our senior cats, we hadn't really had an opportunity to have our furry companions checked out regularly like we did previously. One morning recently while getting our kids ready for school I noticed that our long haired cat was intermittently wheezing and gasping and in the short amount of time it took to get our kids to school while making calls around to find an animal ER, we came home to find that he had passed. We were devastated.
The staff, having never treated our cat, were incredibly kind and genuinely felt the pain of our loss and helped guide us through the process of his final arrangements. We were genuinely surprised and grateful when a few days later we received a condolences card in the mail signed by the staff. Thank you for making the grieving process a bit easier!

I have used the Goodyear Animal Hospital for all required veterinary services for my pet for the past nine years, and have always received prompt appointments, very short waiting times at the facility, and friendly, very professional care from the staff. The doctors have always taken the time to provide detailed medical information relevant to my pet, and the facility always follows up with a post-visit phone call.
There are a number of veterinary providers in the Phoenix metro area. I wouldn't keep using the Goodyear Animal Hospital if the service was less than excellent.

I have been using this Vet office since October 2013 when I moved to the West Valley. I have 3 cats and 2 very old dogs (18 and 16 years old). This is one of the best vet offices I have been to. The front office staff are always really pleasant, and willing to go the extra mile for the client (human or animal). The medical staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything. Whenever I have take my pets in, the vet has been honest and has NEVER tried to up-sell any services. They always offer the most practical cost effective way to treat the pets. One of my cats was on constant antibiotic eye drops for a chronic condition. I was happy to pay to ensure he was not sick. The vet actually told me about a supplement that we could use that might work. It did, and I get it online for much less. She told me to look online. My two old dogs need the same medication, and the front desk staff did calculations for me to see which format of pills would be the most cost effective. It turned out that getting one larger prescription for one dog (which the two then share) was cheaper than a prescription for each, so that is what they advised and that is what I do. They did not have to, because I would have been none the wiser. However, now (considering these past experiences), I ALWAYS trust what they tell me because I know they are not just trying to make money. This is a wonderful place that I would recommend to anyone. Did I mention they are open 7 days a week and open until 7:00 pm on week days! I love this place.

I have two dogs and have been taking them to Goodyear Animal Hospital for the past few years and they have been great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The later closing times have been great for us, especially in emergencies. My dog had an allergic reaction to something and since the offices are open later than most, I was able to take her in without it being an emergency visit. They have always returned my phone calls timely and have great payment plans. I highly recommend them to all my friends.

This place is the worst LOL. MUST READ
In February, I went in for a service (I forgot what service), that day, their payment system was down so they took my card info on a piece of paper because they were going to "manually" bill me when the system was back up. Kind of sketch but whatever. Fast forward to May 13th, 2024, they send me a text message saying that I have an outstanding balance on the account from February of $111 due to THEM having technical difficulties and if I didn't take care of this balance, it was going to be sent to collections.
So because THEY had technical difficulties, they're threatening me with collections? Didn't they take my card info already though? What did they do with my private billing information? Think about all the people that went in that day that had their personal card information written on a piece of paper to then be "processed" at a later date. Obviously they never manually billed me or they wouldn't have threatened me with collections. So what did they do with my information? According to them, the Vet Tech who took down my information didn't correctly take down my card info and that is my fault how? Do you really want to trust your beloved animal in the hands of people who can't copy and paste simple digits? After all, being a Veterinarian is much more difficult than writing down numbers. Right? According to them, they shredded the paper with the information. Question is, how long did it take them to shred it after they wrote my info down? How many untrustworthy eyes saw my credit card information? I guess we'll never know. Funny thing, that same day (May 13th), I went in twice. Once to drop off my dog for grooming and another time to pick her up from grooming. Wouldn't it have been a good idea to give me a friendly reminder then? Pretty much everybody there just works for a paycheck, nobody really cares about your animals and that's the sad truth. Fake humble. Customer service is subpar. Apparently they sent me a letter in the mail regarding the situation, but how is that easier than just calling me? Or perhaps telling me in person since I was there two times in one day.
So, I went in the next day and paid the $111, not credit or debit (because obviously we can't trust them) I paid with 11,100 pennies that I got straight from the bank that morning. I'm sure it was going to take a couple hours to count so I left and returned the next day for my bucket and my invoice. I then proceed to read my invoice and it says that I paid $110.97. That's weird, I don't remember giving them 11, 097 pennies, I gave 11,100. Which means, someone did not give me my change which would have been 3 cents. I'm not tripping over 3 cents, just another example of how they can't be trusted with money. Either they did not count the 11,100 pennies correctly (I'm sure they didn't count twice to double check either) or the bank shorted me three cents. Which one is more likely? I always had a gut feeling this place was shady, always trust your intuition. How could I ever trust them with my pet again behind closed doors? NAH.
Apparently you can't write more than one review so I'm going to extend this and tell you about ANOTHER incident I had there.
My dog was limping, I took her in, they looked her over and said we needed to do X-RAYS, the problem would be found then. They waxed me for $800+ dollars on some INCONCLUSIVE X-RAYS. Doctor says now I need to cough up more money to do blood work, that the problem would be found then and blah blah blah. Well, unfortunately I am not a cash cow and I don't print money, therefore I couldn't proceed with the blood work for my poor baby. "We have payment options sir" OK? That doesn't change the fact that they waxed me for $800 and found nothing! Not even offer a little discount for having terrible diagnostic procedures. As a human, having no medical insurance, I can go to an X RAY place in town and they'll do it for $40-$100. That is totally reasonable. $800, is NOT reasonable. Sure, I didn't have to agree to it BUT that's exactly how they get you. They take advantage of your emotions. These people are worse than mechanic shops.

I can't say enough about the remarkable Doctors at Sarival~ being an animal rescuer, I've seen many good Docs and well not so good. Dr. Katie, Dr. Paul, Dr. Wes and Dr. Heidi are TOP NOTCH.
I have seen each of these Veterinarians and I would trust my animals lives with every single one of them. It's not often where you go to a doctor and want to see a different one all the time. Well I have no concerns as I trust each and every one of them implicitly. If you're in doubt of who to take your beloved animals to, look no more. They are incredible human beings who truly and genuinely care. The front staff & Vet techs are outstanding as well🤗

I've been taking my dog there for almost 7yrs and they are amazing. They are friendly, patient and you can tell they love animals. I took my Daisy there a couple weeks ago because she was sick and we did not have an appointment and they got us in ASAP.
It's a 20min drive for me and there are closer vets but I choose these guys.
They have chipped both my dog and my cat.

I took my ten year old Bichon in today and saw Dr. Emily McNeilly. She was very kind and explained everything that needed to be done and how much it would cost before doing anything. The care was good, but the prices are high. I paid $442.50 for an exam, three x-rays, and some fluids that were injected by a vet tech. The three x-rays were $271.00, which works out to over $90.00 dollars per x-ray. Kind of high when you know it was done with a digital machine with no supplies needed, and took about ten minutes time by a tech making maybe $15.00 an hour.
It is so sad that these local vets charge so much, it makes it very difficult to care for our pets as we and they get older. I wonder how many older people have to chose between taking the dog to the vet or eating. And yes I know they offer financing, but where does that money come from to pay it back.

You can tell the employees don’t like working there. Its like going to a used car dealership, they give you astronomical quotes. The groomer mishandled my dogs ears; she got the worst ear infection Ive ever seen in the matter of a few days. They quoted me $450 to treat her and it was their fault. I was discounted $100. They wrote on her medical reports that I was a fussy mom. Ive always tipped well and been so nice to them; however, always left feeling detested. I suppose my instincts were right. I really hate to post this because I like to think the best of folks, but my sweet dog and I have been treated poorly by these people on more than 1 occasion; I kept giving them chances, the ear infection was the last shot. I will say, they have a new front desk girl that is sweet; maybe they are changing a new leaf, too late for me though.

We have a wonderful new veterinarian for our pet in our neighborhood. The vet and vet assistant were so professional and very helpful. The convenience of staying in one room to check in and pay for the services was awesome. On site labs and prescriptions make it very easy to get our pet treated in one stop. The easy parking and shade in this brutal heat helped immensely with sensitive paws walking on pavement and sidewalks. The care and compassion from the people here, helped with what I'm sure for our pet is a scary trip to the doctor. She is such a good dog!

I used to love this place and shrugged off the mishaps but enough is enough, I'm convinced all they care about is money. Every exam is at least a nearly $50 charge, want a second opinion because you didn't have a good experience with the vet? Come back in for another $50 charge...our pets are not guinea pigs. You either know what you're doing or you don't but unfortunately the customer (no matter how loyal or longstanding) will have to suffer for it. I won't recommend this place ever again. Save yourself some money and don't keep wasting your time here - this coming from a once loyal patron.

Awesome customer service and care. Our family dog, Conrad broke out in hives on a Sunday. Originally Our appointment was for Wednesday. However, when I called to let them know that Conrad had gotten worst, they were able to fit us in same day. Dr. Schomburg was attentive and helped ease our worries as she developed a treatment plan. She also did a follow-up call the next day to check on Conrad and further discuss the treatment plan.
A few days later, when we took him back for blood work, Stephanie, the technician tasked with taking care of Conrad was friendly and put him at ease.
It is nice to know that the staff at this facility puts the care and welfare of their pet patients as priority.

Several years ago, once of the vets told me that my "Owner Protective Dog," a rescue was a "BAD SEED," and should be put down.Why I ever returned to this practice for my cat is beyond me, but it is close.Late January, I brought my 15 year old, 4 pound Maine Coon cat, who was very badly matted, I openly admit, to be groomed. Upon picking her up, a young woman brought Stevie out in her carrier. She was agitated and in a big rush, rushing I and my father out. She said that my 4 pound cat had really ACTED UP, that she sustained 3 2 mm cuts on her stomach which were glued with surgical glue and that the grooming could not be completed.I can certainly see how a 15 year old 4 pound sedated cat could ACT UP and stop professionals from grooming her. (NOT)Stevie came home with all of the behavior of a traumatized cat. She does have hypothyroidism, but she NEVER had a problem breathing before; she never wheezed, retched, had whistling in her throat, nor had a problem eating. My happy, sweet, jolly, Maine Coon came home a traumatized and injured animal.I called and asked for an investigation and a report. Just got a phone call--no report. The vet on call during the "DOESN"T RECALL ANYTHING UNSUAL." Doesn't recall. I asked for a refund for the grooming, as it was both incomplete and MY CAT'S STOMACH HAD TO BE SURGICALLY GLUED IN 3 PLACES. They told me it was my cat's fault because of her age--and cat's become thin skinned. Well, if that is the case, then why was that not taken into consideration before using whatever grooming tool (torture device) was used. Certainly, there are protocols for grooming heavily matted aging cats. Or perhaps, the grooming should have been stopped when my 4 pound 15 year old cat was acting up. Perhaps I should have been called and made aware of the situation, so I could decide and advocate on behalf of my helpless cat. That seems to be quite reasonable. But, alas no. I WAS an almost 12 year client, but I WAS REFUSED A REFUND for the grooming. This is after being charged close to $700 for blood work a few months ago.Great customer service, Goodyear Animal Hospital. Great Care for your clients and their pets.It appears that your bottom line means more to you than the animals under your stewardship and your human clients.Shame on you a thousand times over.

This is by far the best animal hospital EVER!! The staff is always so nice and helpful, and they really do go above and beyond to make you and your pet feel as comfortable as possible. I have 5 different pets that come here and each one of them is treated like they are family. Dr. Thompson is our favorite, especially with our cat Cleo. She has pancreatitis, and it flares up every few months. Dr. Thompson always takes good care of her and doesn't go overboard with ordering tests that are not needed on an older sick kitty. She truly is the best!!

We started going to Goodyear Animal Hospital in June after getting our puppy. We had a great first visit, but the second one....not so much. However, the staff showed great care that we were unhappy and were more than willing to rectify the situation. There efforts were not just heard, but seen. We have since transferred the care of our cat here as well. They are currently caring for our puppy after a Xylitol overdose....we were worried we were going to lose him ...but he has been with them since Friday and so far so good. The doctors are great with keeping us filled in on his progress and the techs are amazing...and always very welcoming when we are there visiting. It helps knowing he's in good hands. Thank you!

We are thankful for Goodyear Animal Hospital! Our pup had a gash on his forehead. We were able to be seen same day and were in and out within an hour and a half. We were able to call ahead to start our file for quicker service as well. Four staples and meds later our pup is on the way to recovery! Customer service was good, building was clean.

Not sure why I am just writing a review after over two years. We own a small scale rescue in Ajo, AZ and would never use any place else for our dogs cares. Two years ago I rescued a paralyzed dog in Tijuana, Mexico. Today she is no longer paralyzed and runs like the wind, without any surgery. Dr Fan and Sean were instrumental in Dulce's ongoing care and recovery. Over the past two years we have seen several of the vets and techs at Goodyear. Not one time did we ever have a problem getting an appointment and we've been treated better than expected, every single time. They've worked with us on billing, as rescues are limited on funds a lot of the time, and cared for our dogs as if they were their own. I cannot say enough good things about Goodyear Animal Hospital and their staff!

My oldest cat was ill, so I searched for a clinic and found this. Wonderful choice! Dr. Fan treated her and was great, and followed up with a call the next day. Sadly I ended up having to put her down 4 days ago and they were awesome. I received a sympathy card and her ashes and memorial was nice. This has been very hard on me. Thanks to a caring and professional staff. I will continue to use this office for my other cat.

While the care of my dog was great, they can't get their act together when it comes to billing. My bill never reflects what I've paid, they run my card without my permission, then send you to collections for non payment since May when you paid 6 weeks ago. And the notice is for a different amount than what is owed. Never will I go there again. Plus they lied to me about the condition of my dog so that I would pay for surgery when I point blank asked if her injuries were survivable. Then I take her in for a check up and everyone comments how they didn't think she was going to make it. Way to pull money out of a customer.

Having moved here recently with our senior cats, we hadn't really had an opportunity to have our furry companions checked out regularly like we did previously. One morning recently while getting our kids ready for school I noticed that our long haired cat was intermittently wheezing and gasping and in the short amount of time it took to get our kids to school while making calls around to find an animal ER, we came home to find that he had passed. We were devastated.
The staff, having never treated our cat, were incredibly kind and genuinely felt the pain of our loss and helped guide us through the process of his final arrangements. We were genuinely surprised and grateful when a few days later we received a condolences card in the mail signed by the staff. Thank you for making the grieving process a bit easier!

I have used the Goodyear Animal Hospital for all required veterinary services for my pet for the past nine years, and have always received prompt appointments, very short waiting times at the facility, and friendly, very professional care from the staff. The doctors have always taken the time to provide detailed medical information relevant to my pet, and the facility always follows up with a post-visit phone call.
There are a number of veterinary providers in the Phoenix metro area. I wouldn't keep using the Goodyear Animal Hospital if the service was less than excellent.

I have been using this Vet office since October 2013 when I moved to the West Valley. I have 3 cats and 2 very old dogs (18 and 16 years old). This is one of the best vet offices I have been to. The front office staff are always really pleasant, and willing to go the extra mile for the client (human or animal). The medical staff is very knowledgeable and take the time to explain everything. Whenever I have take my pets in, the vet has been honest and has NEVER tried to up-sell any services. They always offer the most practical cost effective way to treat the pets. One of my cats was on constant antibiotic eye drops for a chronic condition. I was happy to pay to ensure he was not sick. The vet actually told me about a supplement that we could use that might work. It did, and I get it online for much less. She told me to look online. My two old dogs need the same medication, and the front desk staff did calculations for me to see which format of pills would be the most cost effective. It turned out that getting one larger prescription for one dog (which the two then share) was cheaper than a prescription for each, so that is what they advised and that is what I do. They did not have to, because I would have been none the wiser. However, now (considering these past experiences), I ALWAYS trust what they tell me because I know they are not just trying to make money. This is a wonderful place that I would recommend to anyone. Did I mention they are open 7 days a week and open until 7:00 pm on week days! I love this place.

I have two dogs and have been taking them to Goodyear Animal Hospital for the past few years and they have been great. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The later closing times have been great for us, especially in emergencies. My dog had an allergic reaction to something and since the offices are open later than most, I was able to take her in without it being an emergency visit. They have always returned my phone calls timely and have great payment plans. I highly recommend them to all my friends.
