I got a consultation with Erin and she gave me a plan that my regular vet never offered after multiple visits. She specializes in hospice and gave me new medications and a special diet formulation. His energy, quality of life, and attitude have greatly improved. His bloodwork is much better as well. I feel very relieved that my dog will have greater quality of life and perhaps greater longevity for how well he is responding. I had an older dog with cognitive problems and arthritis in his joints.Erin evaluated him and came up with a plan on things to do that would help him. I had been close to having to put him to sleep his illness was getting so bad. She suggested a raw food diet and she also mixed in supplements that were good for arthritic dogs and older dogs with cognitive problems. He'll never be a puppy again but I have seen a huge improvement. He can go on longer walks, which he has always enjoyed, and is much more playful. I am so glad I gave hospice care a chance as his vet was recommending imminent euthanasia.
