I just dropped my dog off for the first time and It has to be the prettiest location for a vet clinic I have ever seen. I wish I lived there. Anyway, compared to my usual clinic it is night and day. It felt very homey and comfortable compared to my regular stuffy clinic who I chose not to use anymore. The doctor seemed to go way beyond my clinic did and talked to me about my dog...he didnt send in someone else to interview me about which price I would like to pay...the lowest price, medium price, and most expensive price for the same procedure. The vet actually gave me an estimate...not the billing specialist...holy cow!!! The one thing that I felt pretty bad about is that I never went to him sooner. I have been looking for a clinic like this for soooo long...one that practices the way they did when I grew up...one fair price and only a couple employees...not a parade of people each to ask me a different question. I actually went to a vet where I had to pay more to talk directly with the vet instead of the vet assistant. Turns out their diagnose was wrong. I recommend this vet if you want good ole fashion vet care without the b.s....plus I arrived early and saw the doctor in less than ten minutes...I almost had a coronary. FIVE STARS.

We have used Dr Wengert for nearly 30 years; never once steered us wrong. Would not take my fur babies anywhere else. Miss some of the previous staff; but, very happy with care my furry children get. ...

We have taken our Pug Harley there from the day we got him at 4wks and he is now 10 years old. They are great with him prices have pretty much remained the same not huge hikes. We take all 3 of our dogs and when we had our cats we took them to Marana Veterinary. We love them over there and trust them with our animals

I was recommend to Marana Veterinary and we could not be happier with the care we got for our dog, Cooper. I called about my dogs incredibly swollen face and they got me in the same day and he explained to me what he thought was going on and since Cooper wasn't neutered yet he recommended instead of paying for anesthesia twice to neuter him while he was already under. Cooper had a thorn embedded into his gums and it became infected. During his recovery Cooper broke his cone while we were away and pulled his drain out, and they got us in the same day to make sure everything was okay.

The Vet, forgot his name (sorry), was attentive and addressed my concerns. I would recommend MVC and would take my lil Harley again if need be.

There prices are unbelievable and thankfully i could afford to have my Maxs surgery done or i would of had to make that choice. They did a remarkable job i picked him up with such care he even earned the name noodle cuz he's such a dork ( he's an american bulldog) i highly recommend them i even drove a total of 55 miles there and back worth every minute and mile!!! I work full-time and my husband is disabled and doesn't drive. Saturdays are usually crowded. This clinic's prices are very cheap compared to many others (I'm sure they already know this). I hope when they read that they don't up their prices :)

I had taken my boston terrier there. yes they were nice BUT, the gal at the front desk gave my dog a 50 mg tablet of tramadol. The dosage for a dog that small should be 1/4 or LESS. Within a few hours after I brought my dog home, he died. I have told this to another vet who was shocked and said that was a very deadly mistake. PLEASE BEWARE. I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone, and when asked to rec one, I have ALWAYS told people NOT to go there and why. It was a VERY HORRIBLE thing for my poor dog.BEWARE and avoid this place

They have taken care of two of our animals now and after trying one other clinic I can say we quickly came running back. They are very friendly, happy to explain things to you and they do not just go for the expensive tests.
My wife and I both agree this is where we will be going from now on and we cannot thank them enough for the service we receive from them.
The prices are very reasonable and they have no problem working with you in any way they can so you can treat your own pet.
Thank you to the Doctor and Staff again you are excellent.

They have taken care of two of our animals now and after trying one other clinic I can say we quickly came running back. They are very friendly, happy to explain things to you and they do not just go for the expensive tests. My wife and I both agree this is where we will be going from now on and we cannot thank them enough for the service we receive from them. I have been bringing my dogs to see Dr Wengert since 1999. Ya'll are so nice. It's so nice to be able to take my dogs to someone I can trust. I wouldn't consider taking my dogs anywhere else. Just brought Hunter in July 25 because he was having a hard time getting around due to being old. The Rimydol is working great and I will be calling Monday to get a prescription. Thanks for being there and taking care of my doggies all of these years.

We went there once several years ago when my dog was experiencing symptoms of Valley Fever. He was clearly in distress medically, and I took him in on a weekend.The Vet that saw him didn't really spend any time looking my dog over. He gave him some antibiotics (doesn't do anything for Valley Fever) and charged us $100 for a Valley Fever test, saying he'd call us with the results.Well a week later I finally got a call back from someone in his office saying the test was negative. Meanwhile, our dog was practically at death's door. We instead took him into the Southern Arizona Emergency Vet place, and then returned to the vet near our old home (Cortaro Farms Pet) for the follow-up care and routine visits. If I had stuck with this place, my dog probably would have died. I'm not sure if that Vet is there anymore, but I won't go back again just in case.

I called about my dogs incredibly swollen face and they got me in the same day and he explained to me what he thought was going on and since Cooper wasn't neutered yet he recommended instead of paying for anesthesia twice to neuter him while he was already under. I had taken my boston terrier there. yes they were nice BUT, the gal at the front desk gave my dog a 50 mg tablet of tramadol. The dosage for a dog that small should be 1/4 or LESS. Within a few hours after I brought my dog home, he died. I have told this to another vet who was shocked and said that was a very deadly mistake. PLEASE BEWARE. I have been bringing my dogs to see Dr Wengert since 1999. Ya'll are so nice. It's so nice to be able to take my dogs to someone I can trust. I wouldn't consider taking my dogs anywhere else. Just brought Hunter in July 25 because he was having a hard time getting around due to being old. The Rimydol is working great and I will be calling Monday to get a prescription. Thanks for being there and taking care of my doggies all of these years.

We went there once several years ago when my dog was experiencing symptoms of Valley Fever. He was clearly in distress medically, and I took him in on a weekend.The Vet that saw him didn't really spend any time looking my dog over. He gave him some antibiotics (doesn't do anything for Valley Fever) and charged us $100 for a Valley Fever test, saying he'd call us with the results.Well a week later I finally got a call back from someone in his office saying the test was negative. Meanwhile, our dog was practically at death's door. We instead took him into the Southern Arizona Emergency Vet place, and then returned to the vet near our old home (Cortaro Farms Pet) for the follow-up care and routine visits. If I had stuck with this place, my dog probably would have died. I'm not sure if that Vet is there anymore, but I won't go back again just in case.

A great place for those in this neck of the woods to take their animals. The staff is always friendly and helpful and really work with your schedule and budget to make sure your pets get the best serv...
A great place for those in this neck of the woods to take their animals. The staff is always friendly and helpful and really work with your schedule and budget to make sure your pets get the best service possible. The clinic is very clean and the vets are wonderful to work with. Two paws up!
