I walked into the doors of this vet and was ignored, no exaggeration, for about four minutes. Mind you that there were two people upfront and one was assisting someone else. So you would think the receptionist who was free would help right? Wrong. BETH decided that looking and knowing I was standing there waiting to be helped, shuffling papers were more important. Then maybe she thought about how rude she looked, she decided the back area (were files were which is still in the front around a shelf) needed her attention. My mother and I were flabbergasted. We wanted to walk out but we had already waited two weeks for this appointment. Once I was helped by the front manager (who was polite) I sat and waited to be seen. The vet was polite enough but I felt some of my concerns were ignored or blown off. So my dog has been having environmental allergies and he told be as he was putting the ointment on that he was writing a script for that and a pill. No mention of price or anything. All I know is that I will never be back.
UPDATE: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER I AM VERY AWARE OF WHERE I TOOK MY PETS AND IT WAS YOUR CLINIC. I MAY BE MISTAKEN ON THE LADIES NAME BUT IT WAS AN OLDER WHITE LADY WITH WHITE HAIR. I WAS SEEN BY DR. ANDREW HEITMAN, (WHO LIKE I SAID WAS NICE ENOUGH BUT I FELT WAS A BUT UNCONCERNED WITH MY CONCERNS). EITHER THIS WOMAN NO LONGER WORKS THERE OR I HAD THE WRONG NAME, BUT I AM VERY AWARE OF WHERE I WENT FOR MY PETS TO BE SEEN. AS FOR NOT FINDING MY NAME, THAT IS BECAUSE IT IS UNDER MY MOTHERS NAME. SO NO, MY REVIEW WILL REMAIN BUT THANK YOU FOR YOUR CONCERN.

say enough about the Doctors and the staff they are all amazing. Like
anyone else we all have favorites, and my favorite Dr. is Phil. you can
feel and see his compassion for the furry . I know he can't get any better

The staff and vets at Adobe Vet Clinic are amazing! They’ve been incredibly patient and kind with me as a new (and overprotective and anxious) dog mom. My pup had ACL surgery in December and Dr. Phil went above and beyond to answer and address questions and concerns. He’s also extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. We always have Jair as our tech and we just love him! He’s so kind and gentle with the pup. Janelle, the receptionist, is also so friendly and accommodating when making appointments. We’ve been so happy with the care at Adobe and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else!

I walked into the doors of this vet and was ignored, no exaggeration, for about four minutes. Mind you that there were two people upfront and one was assisting someone else. My dog Woody recently had a large mass removed from his front leg. The Dr. and staff were wonderful. I have never been to a clinic that was so great. The waiting room is very spacious and appointments are spaced perfectly. never waited more than a few minutes. unlike other Vets they never pushed me to purchase extra services. Very caring and genuinely concerned for the welfare of Woody and his human family. Thanks to all at Adobe Veterinary Clinic. Woody and I highly recommend them.

Great people at this clinic. Thanks to Katelyn for changing my apt and getting me in asap. Outstanding customer service. Dr. Phil did a awesome job explaining to me what was going on with my little puppy Scooter, he even showed me photos. I came away feeling that I had the best care possible. When we are wintering in Mesa for 6 months of the year it's good to know that we have such amazing care for our little dog.

Used this vet office for their boarding services. I called a couple of times beforehand to make sure the groupon would work and to see if they had space the days I was looking at. The receptionist is very helpful and warm. The building is also very beautiful, clean, and new. I felt comfortable leaving my animal here for the days I was gone. This place is a lot cheaper than the other boarding options I looked at too!

I found this place and yelp. After all the great reviews. I decided to bring the love of my life to see them. My then 9 week puppy Hank. Hank gets grumpy when I leave the room or people are holding him without me near him. The staff from the moment I came in was understand to his hyper active behavior( his a baby Boston terrier) his love for giving kisses and sometimes showing off his 4 teeth (love bites??). The Vets were overly excited to see him! They even have his brother from the same mom and dad. The vet let me hold him while giving him a shot and he was fine! He even gave him a cookie for sitting. He asked me about what we were feeding him, how we were potty training and the products I was using. He was very nice and educational not condescending like I was scared of since hank is my first puppy. He even let hank play with his brother from a previous litter and took selfies with him. Hank was actually upset to leave the vet and go home! I wish they saw humans because I would goTo them! I strongly recommend you come here for all your pet needs.Picture of Hank for extra cuteness.

Simply outstanding. Very skilled doctors and caring staff. I have never experienced such engaged and personalized care! Emails answered on a holiday weekend, repeated follow-up calls from the doctor, ignoring some items they clearly should have charged for... It was refreshing to have a vet who actually tried to give us cost-effective options and say they wouldn't recommend expensive (low benefit) treatment/diagnostics vs. the "cost is no object" approach we've experienced elsewhere. We drive 13 miles to get there and would probably drive 50 miles if we had to. All 3 doctors are outstanding - thanks especially to Dr. Phil for going above and beyond!

I drive over 30 minutes to this veterinarian clinic because they are trustworthy experts. The doctors and staff make-up a great family feel team. Recently, my 1 year old Aussie was very sick. We were very worried that he was dying. Dr. Andy Heitman was very compassionate and focused. We felt like he was with us emotionally through this challenge. In a timely way, he laid out the possibilities and encouraged us with a plan. We're forever grateful that our dog was healed from a terrible kidney infection because of this amazing clinic!

We had to make a very hard decision yesterday to put our 15 year old dog down. When I called to get info they were very informative. I explained what all was going on with my dog Shanuna and what we had to do so she won't be in pain or suffer any more. They scheduled us an appointment right away with no problems. Under the circumstances everyone there was VERY understanding & gave excellent service. I highly recommend them because they were just amazing & very understanding. I had called another place to take my dog & they won't help me at all. But Adobe Veterinary was there when we needed them the most. And must have been ment to be...The nurse/assistant that came in after my dog was asleep & no longer in pain her name was Rosie, she was just amazing & her name just made me cry but they were tears of joy and comfort due to my very first dogs name was Rosey which she past years ago. But that just made it more of a blessing. I just want to Thank everyone that was there yesterday that helped us with the hard decision, & heart breaking moment but it was what needed to happen! Adobe Veterinary Clinic is beyond amazing. They have been my family's choice of vet for as long as I can remember and always strive to take the best care of our animals. My sister and I continue to go to Adobe with our own dogs. All of the doctors genuinely care and will even respond after hours in case of emergencies. Recently, we got our puppy neutered and as nervous as I was, Dr. Phil reassured that everything would go smoothly. And it absolutely did. They even called the next day to check on him! You don't often find a busy clinic that takes the time to call to check in. Won't be straying far anytime soon!

My 11 month old bulldog appeared to have hives after we left her with a pet sitter for six days. She had recently underwent a spay surgery and I had called Niki's Place for help. They suggested I check out this place to see Dr. Phil. I am so glad that I did! They were able to get me in for a same day appointment. Dr. Phil examined my dog and started to explain some possible solutions. I was really wowed when I received a "Thank You" card in the mail a few days later, as well as a phone call from Dr. Phil himself checking in on her. Unfortunately, the problem didn't go away with what was prescribed. Dr. Phil was nice enough to discuss some other possiblilties and suggested we refill her medication and change up her food to a hydrolyzed formula to see what helps.I'm hoping things heal up soon for my little pup, but in the mean time i'm glad I found a great clinic that seems to really care. Dr. Phil is great for pet dermatology- by the way! Check them out!

I cannot even begin to express the amazing care and compassion this family business has given our fur babies. Dr Phil Heightman has been taking care of our dog Holly who has a rare disorder. He researched and worked with me to develop a plan of care for her, and she's doing fantastic now! We recently, however, lost our sweet kitty to a very freak and unfortunate accident. The whole staff took it hard and did everything to help him including referring us to a higher acuity hospital. He sadly didn't make it, but the whole Adobe Vet crew mourned his loss with us, especially Phil. We got a very touching card from them today. Phil and his brother have certainly taken after their father's veterinary expertise and have turned this place into the best practice in the valley. The techs and staff are amazing as well. We can't thank them enough!

He has stopped by my parents home to check on their dog and seen my dog after hours! How many Vets do that without charging you a fortune? The answer is Slim to None. You definitely Owe it to your pet to bring them to Adobe Veterinary Clinic!

We are new to Mesa for 2 years. Finding Adobe Vet Clinic has been the best thing that happened to us for our dogs care. The entire staff is loving, caring kind professional and always willing to help in any way. This family owned business for animals is the best we have ever encountered. Greg and Theresa have an excellent staff of loving caring people. We lost one of our Maltese this past weekend, and one of the sons Phil along with a staff member Rosie made the passing of Misty so peaceful. So kind and loving and professional with the most loving intensions of our Misty. The kindness we were given was so so special that no words can express. if you are in need of a vet don't wait or hesitate to go visit them you will be totally amazed. They are very caring. I have been going to Adobe since the 90's. The prices are always fair. I never feel like they sell me uneccesary tests. Its always convenient to schedule with them. Ultimately when I look for healthcare for my family I look for a place just like this. The Dr.s care enough to spend the time evaluating your pet but I feel like they care enough to not overcharge on tests they dont need. On most occasions I have paid less than I expected. Thank you all 3 Dr Heitmanns for giving our animals great care. I feel like I am more inclined to bring my animals in when I jave a concern, because I am not intimidated that I wont be able to afford the recommended treatments.

My pets and I have been coming to Adobe Veterinary Clinic for nearly 14 years. The staff has always been professional and compassionate. One staff member actually had tears in her eyes when I had to put my 17 year old cat down. Since I have volunteered and worked in animal rescue for over 8 years, I can say that Adobe's pricing is competitive and more reasonable when compared to other full service vets. They are in fact much more economical than many veterinarians when it comes to emergency (same day, not planned for) surgical procedures. Though they do not offer any financial plans like some of the veterinarians inside big box pet supply stores, the newly renovated Adobe Veterinary Clinic is far more spacious, clean and beautiful than the pet supply stores.I highly recommend Adobe Veterinary Clinic as a great place to bring your pets!

I just love that they are a family owned and run business.Greg is personable and worked with me as I transitioned my pets' care away from Petsmart (for significant savings, I might add).When i one of my dogs got very sick, I told them that I was only able to spend $500, Phil worked with me to find the most appropriate treatment options within my stated budget.The front desk personnel always take the time to explain all charges (and expectations) to me prior to accepting care for my pets - so that there are never any surprises.

DO NOT GO HERE or believe their prices on the phone. They lie. Quoted 118.99 for a cat spay told them I was needing 2 cats done. They told me $240 for both, I questioned whether or not that includes pain medication and was told yes. Made the appointment and dropped off cats in the morning. Was also told if they were in heat it would be more which I said no problem one was 6 months old the other is over a year. When we picked up our animals they cost had gone up with the explaination of we weree told it 286.00 for the 2 cats and they were both in heat. Called several vets all said 6 months old is impossible to be in heat. Even if I paid the additional for them both being in heat the price was still $37.00 more than that. The doctor was very friendly and offered to give 1/2 back in credit for his employee lying to me or misunderstanding as it was put. I was not complaining about the money I wanted them to be fair and stick to their quote they didn't I will pay another vet to remove the sutures from my cats and never retun to this clinic. If you choose to use them in the future get it in writing before you book a appointment. Good luck Adobe doctor seemed nice but kinda hope staff tanks you if your smart enough to stop them.

I walked into the doors of this vet and was ignored, no exaggeration, for about four minutes. Mind you that there were two people upfront and one was assisting someone else. So you would think the receptionist who was free would help right? Wrong. BETH decided that looking and knowing I was standing there waiting to be helped, shuffling papers were more important. Then maybe she thought about how rude she looked, she decided the back area (were files were which is still in the front around a shelf) needed her attention. My mother and I were flabbergasted. We wanted to walk out but we had already waited two weeks for this appointment. Once I was helped by the front manager (who was polite) I sat and waited to be seen. The vet was polite enough but I felt some of my concerns were ignored or blown off. So my dog has been having environmental allergies and he told be as he was putting the ointment on that he was writing a script for that and a pill. No mention of price or anything. All I know is that I will never be back.
UPDATE: IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNER I AM VERY AWARE OF WHERE I TOOK MY PETS AND IT WAS YOUR CLINIC. I MAY BE MISTAKEN ON THE LADIES NAME BUT IT WAS AN OLDER WHITE LADY WITH WHITE HAIR. I WAS SEEN BY DR. ANDREW HEITMAN, (WHO LIKE I SAID WAS NICE ENOUGH BUT I FELT WAS A BUT UNCONCERNED WITH MY CONCERNS). EITHER THIS WOMAN NO LONGER WORKS THERE OR I HAD THE WRONG NAME, BUT I AM VERY AWARE OF WHERE I WENT FOR MY PETS TO BE SEEN. AS FOR NOT FINDING MY NAME, THAT IS BECAUSE IT IS UNDER MY MOTHERS NAME. The staff and vets at Adobe Vet Clinic are amazing! They’ve been incredibly patient and kind with me as a new (and overprotective and anxious) dog mom. My pup had ACL surgery in December and Dr. Phil went above and beyond to answer and address questions and concerns. He’s also extremely knowledgeable and very thorough. We always have Jair as our tech and we just love him! He’s so kind and gentle with the pup. Janelle, the receptionist, is also so friendly and accommodating when making appointments. We’ve been so happy with the care at Adobe and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else!

The waiting room is very spacious and appointments are spaced perfectly. never waited more than a few minutes. unlike other Vets they never pushed me to purchase extra services. Used this vet office for their boarding services. I called a couple of times beforehand to make sure the groupon would work and to see if they had space the days I was looking at. The receptionist is very helpful and warm. The building is also very beautiful, clean, and new. I felt comfortable leaving my animal here for the days I was gone. I found this place and yelp. After all the great reviews. I decided to bring the love of my life to see them. My then 9 week puppy Hank. Hank gets grumpy when I leave the room or people are holding him without me near him. The staff from the moment I came in was understand to his hyper active behavior( his a baby Boston terrier) his love for giving kisses and sometimes showing off his 4 teeth (love bites??). The Vets were overly excited to see him! They even have his brother from the same mom and dad. The vet let me hold him while giving him a shot and he was fine! He even gave him a cookie for sitting. He asked me about what we were feeding him, how we were potty training and the products I was using. He was very nice and educational not condescending like I was scared of since hank is my first puppy. He even let hank play with his brother from a previous litter and took selfies with him. Hank was actually upset to leave the vet and go home! I wish they saw humans because I would goTo them! I strongly recommend you come here for all your pet needs.Picture of Hank for extra cuteness.

Simply outstanding. Very skilled doctors and caring staff. I have never experienced such engaged and personalized care! Emails answered on a holiday weekend, repeated follow-up calls from the doctor, ignoring some items they clearly should have charged for... It was refreshing to have a vet who actually tried to give us cost-effective options and say they wouldn't recommend expensive (low benefit) treatment/diagnostics vs. the "cost is no object" approach we've experienced elsewhere. We drive 13 miles to get there and would probably drive 50 miles if we had to. All 3 doctors are outstanding - thanks especially to Dr. Phil for going above and beyond!

We were very worried that he was dying. Dr. Andy Heitman was very compassionate and focused. We felt like he was with us emotionally through this challenge. In a timely way, he laid out the possibilities and encouraged us with a plan. We're forever grateful that our dog was healed from a terrible kidney infection because of this amazing clinic!

We had to make a very hard decision yesterday to put our 15 year old dog down. When I called to get info they were very informative. I explained what all was going on with my dog Shanuna and what we had to do so she won't be in pain or suffer any more. They scheduled us an appointment right away with no problems. Under the circumstances everyone there was VERY understanding & gave excellent service. I highly recommend them because they were just amazing & very understanding. I had called another place to take my dog & they won't help me at all. But Adobe Veterinary was there when we needed them the most. And must have been ment to be...The nurse/assistant that came in after my dog was asleep & no longer in pain her name was Rosie, she was just amazing & her name just made me cry but they were tears of joy and comfort due to my very first dogs name was Rosey which she past years ago. But that just made it more of a blessing. I just want to Thank everyone that was there yesterday that helped us with the hard decision, & heart breaking moment but it was what needed to happen! The staff treat him as if he's their own dog and the price is always reasonable! We just brought a new French Bulldog home and he will have his first visit to Adobe this week!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Everyone was loving on our dog which made us feel comfortable. We will definitely be back for our grooming/boarding/vet services!

Adobe Veterinary Clinic is beyond amazing. They have been my family's choice of vet for as long as I can remember and always strive to take the best care of our animals. My sister and I continue to go to Adobe with our own dogs. All of the doctors genuinely care and will even respond after hours in case of emergencies. Recently, we got our puppy neutered and as nervous as I was, Dr. Phil reassured that everything would go smoothly. And it absolutely did. They even called the next day to check on him! You don't often find a busy clinic that takes the time to call to check in. Won't be straying far anytime soon!

My 11 month old bulldog appeared to have hives after we left her with a pet sitter for six days. She had recently underwent a spay surgery and I had called Niki's Place for help. They suggested I check out this place to see Dr. Phil. I am so glad that I did! They were able to get me in for a same day appointment. Dr. Phil examined my dog and started to explain some possible solutions. I was really wowed when I received a "Thank You" card in the mail a few days later, as well as a phone call from Dr. Phil himself checking in on her. Unfortunately, the problem didn't go away with what was prescribed. Dr. Phil was nice enough to discuss some other possiblilties and suggested we refill her medication and change up her food to a hydrolyzed formula to see what helps.I'm hoping things heal up soon for my little pup, but in the mean time i'm glad I found a great clinic that seems to really care. Dr. Phil is great for pet dermatology- by the way! Check them out!

I cannot even begin to express the amazing care and compassion this family business has given our fur babies. Dr Phil Heightman has been taking care of our dog Holly who has a rare disorder. He researched and worked with me to develop a plan of care for her, and she's doing fantastic now! We recently, however, lost our sweet kitty to a very freak and unfortunate accident. The whole staff took it hard and did everything to help him including referring us to a higher acuity hospital. He sadly didn't make it, but the whole Adobe Vet crew mourned his loss with us, especially Phil. We got a very touching card from them today. Phil and his brother have certainly taken after their father's veterinary expertise and have turned this place into the best practice in the valley. The techs and staff are amazing as well. We can't thank them enough!

I have never gone to a Vet that cares for animals quite the way Dr. Phil does! He has gone out of his way to care for our family's dogs on more than one occasion. He has stopped by my parents home to check on their dog and seen my dog after hours! How many Vets do that without charging you a fortune? The answer is Slim to None. You definitely Owe it to your pet to bring them to Adobe Veterinary Clinic!

We are new to Mesa for 2 years. Finding Adobe Vet Clinic has been the best thing that happened to us for our dogs care. The entire staff is loving, caring kind professional and always willing to help in any way. This family owned business for animals is the best we have ever encountered. Greg and Theresa have an excellent staff of loving caring people. We lost one of our Maltese this past weekend, and one of the sons Phil along with a staff member Rosie made the passing of Misty so peaceful. So kind and loving and professional with the most loving intensions of our Misty. The kindness we were given was so so special that no words can express. if you are in need of a vet don't wait or hesitate to go visit them you will be totally amazed. Your pet will be in the best hands ever. Phil and Rosie our gratitude is deeply expressed the way Misty was handled, loved and respected. Katelyn, Jennifer and the rest of the staff we are grateful. They stayed open an extra hour for our Daisy Duke to get X-rays and pain meds. A few more people walked in and they gladly helped them too! They are very caring. I have been going to Adobe since the 90's. The prices are always fair. I never feel like they sell me uneccesary tests. Its always convenient to schedule with them. Ultimately when I look for healthcare for my family I look for a place just like this. The Dr.s care enough to spend the time evaluating your pet but I feel like they care enough to not overcharge on tests they dont need. On most occasions I have paid less than I expected. Thank you all 3 Dr Heitmanns for giving our animals great care. I feel like I am more inclined to bring my animals in when I jave a concern, because I am not intimidated that I wont be able to afford the recommended treatments.

My pets and I have been coming to Adobe Veterinary Clinic for nearly 14 years. The staff has always been professional and compassionate. One staff member actually had tears in her eyes when I had to put my 17 year old cat down. Since I have volunteered and worked in animal rescue for over 8 years, I can say that Adobe's pricing is competitive and more reasonable when compared to other full service vets. They are in fact much more economical than many veterinarians when it comes to emergency (same day, not planned for) surgical procedures. Though they do not offer any financial plans like some of the veterinarians inside big box pet supply stores, the newly renovated Adobe Veterinary Clinic is far more spacious, clean and beautiful than the pet supply stores.I highly recommend Adobe Veterinary Clinic as a great place to bring your pets!

The staff is friendly and they have even been able to board my dog last minute on a holiday weekend. I found the prices reasonable, especially since other places were charging double or triple the price!

I just love that they are a family owned and run business.Greg is personable and worked with me as I transitioned my pets' care away from Petsmart (for significant savings, I might add).When i one of my dogs got very sick, I told them that I was only able to spend $500, Phil worked with me to find the most appropriate treatment options within my stated budget.The front desk personnel always take the time to explain all charges (and expectations) to me prior to accepting care for my pets - so that there are never any surprises.

DO NOT GO HERE or believe their prices on the phone. They lie. Quoted 118.99 for a cat spay told them I was needing 2 cats done. They told me $240 for both, I questioned whether or not that includes pain medication and was told yes. Made the appointment and dropped off cats in the morning. Was also told if they were in heat it would be more which I said no problem one was 6 months old the other is over a year. When we picked up our animals they cost had gone up with the explaination of we weree told it 286.00 for the 2 cats and they were both in heat. Called several vets all said 6 months old is impossible to be in heat. Even if I paid the additional for them both being in heat the price was still $37.00 more than that. The doctor was very friendly and offered to give 1/2 back in credit for his employee lying to me or misunderstanding as it was put. I was not complaining about the money I wanted them to be fair and stick to their quote they didn't I will pay another vet to remove the sutures from my cats and never retun to this clinic. If you choose to use them in the future get it in writing before you book a appointment. Good luck Adobe doctor seemed nice but kinda hope staff tanks you if your smart enough to stop them.
