Words cannot express how impressed I was at the compassion and love shown by every staff member I met the day I took Jake to be neutered and chipped. Jake was an abandoned puppy I found in the road one early morning. He stole our hearts and continues to this day. I have lived in multiple states and have never encountered even the existence of such an agency. These people are dedicated and clearly are passionate in giving the best possible care to pets at a reduced rate. Altered Tails in Arizona has become a leader in animal care and overall well being of our furry kids. I will not hesitate to utilize their services again and will spread the word of their care to everyone I know. Jake awoke from his surgery with absolutely no ill effects of the anisthesia and is doing great. Thank you to all the staff and veterans at Altered Tails for taking care of him as if he was your own.

This place is awesome! Apparently they get outside donations from somewhere. I had both my dogs fixed at the same time. I was expecting to pay close to $300 with all the meds and cones but ended up paying $183. The guy at the counter said "it's going to be cheaper because there was still funding available." I didn't argue. Both my girls are happy pups. I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone needing pet services. It's a first come first serve type of place so get there early.

After calling around and asking for references, Altered Tails kept coming up. I scheduled a visit and took my dog in to get fixed. I was able to drop him off in the morning and picked him up in the af...
After calling around and asking for references, Altered Tails kept coming up. I scheduled a visit and took my dog in to get fixed. I was able to drop him off in the morning and picked him up in the afternoon. They vaccinated, chipped, filed nails, removed dew claws and brushed his teeth as well. I am highly satisfied.

My kitten Bill Murray got neutered here and it was a good clinic. The staff were really polite and professional. They gave us the option for extra pain meds (cost a little extra money but I appreciated it). He healed up just perfectly and is a happy healthy boy.
I would recommend they mention that the time of the appointment is not the individual’s personal appointment time but when the door opens and is more a first come first serve. Everything else was great.

If you're looking for a vet that gives you personal appointments and your pup personal attention this place is definitely not for you. Would never recommend this place

I would like to give more stars, but for two reasons I cannot at this time. The customer service was amazing, everyone was kind and courteous, we were in and out with four cats, one male and three females. The two reasons I cannot give a higher rating, something isn't right with two of my girls. It's Christmas day, i got them spayed a week ago, one female has a large lump at the incision site, and the other female has a purple bruising look and a red infectious look that has been getting progressively worse over the last two to three days. I know they get busy, and I don't blame the doctors, but if I lose both my girls, mom and daughter, i will be devastated...

Made an appt for 7:30 this morning so I could make court and still leave my fur baby there until I got out. I pulled up to dozens of people in line. Now I've missed my court and my cat is still not fixed. I wasn't aware that making an appt didn't mean that they would get to you at that appointed time. Long story short, won't be back. As a college student and busy individual, i can't wait that long. BE PRORATED TO WAIT! This rating is just customer service.

Cheap spay & neuter. Service is ok, everybody was nice, post surgical instructions were vague and my puppy ended up with a scrotum infection from an open scrotum. Either that's how they do it or the stitches dissolved from the bleeding, we all watched him like hawks & he didn't lick anything or run around. Whatever, another $97 at my vet for antibiotics and antiinflammatories & he'll be fine in a few days. Most probably come out fine, this is the place the rescue sent us so we went there. They seemed good, probably it's just a fluke.

I feel having taken most of my pets here thst they do exactly wha they promise in a great way. Its extremely affordable, well taken care of and not riddled with superfluous banter or sales. I trust to come here again.

Had my 4 year old shitzu fixed, microchipped, and rabies shot done at Altered Tails. I definitely do suggest taking your dogs there. They are not only provide affordable service but my little girl did very well and after picking her up you could tell she was taken care of. She sleeped the entire evening and night after her surgery. When she woke up the next day she started being her normal self. When you go in they will ask you if your going to need pain medication and a E-collar. Honestly my little girl did just fine with the pain medication that they ministered during surgery. The lady said that the pain med that she had received during surgery would last her up to 12hr which she did fine. I did buy the E-collar and that was a waste of money because i didnt have to put it on her, she did just fine without it.

i have had a great experience with this 1" pet veterinary center . I toke 4 of my loving pets there to be spayed and neuter and they was all fine and happier then ever . they have more energy now then ever . so i'm grateful for them to help people like me and other's like me that can't forward to have our loving pet's spayed and neuter for free they came and picked them up and dropped them back off with all the paper work on them . If i can I would give them more then five star's but it go's to 5 star's but Ill give them a 10 star's. So I want to thank them for the work they do Thank You Again love Mommy &W.A. & Rocky & Erza that is all my pet's names they also Thank them. Love Connie Wingo but they have me down as Wary miss spelled of my last name but I'm ok with that to l.o.l

This place is awesome! Apparently they get outside donations from somewhere. I had both my dogs fixed at the same time. I was expecting to pay close to $300 with all the meds and cones but ended up paying $183. The guy at the counter said "it's going to be cheaper because there was still funding available." My kitten Bill Murray got neutered here and it was a good clinic. The staff were really polite and professional. They gave us the option for extra pain meds (cost a little extra money but I appreciated it). He healed up just perfectly and is a happy healthy boy.

The customer service was amazing, everyone was kind and courteous, we were in and out with four cats, one male and three females. The two reasons I cannot give a higher rating, something isn't right with two of my girls. Made an appt for 7:30 this morning so I could make court and still leave my fur baby there until I got out. I pulled up to dozens of people in line. Now I've missed my court and my cat is still not fixed. I wasn't aware that making an appt didn't mean that they would get to you at that appointed time. Long story short, won't be back. Cheap spay & neuter. Service is ok, everybody was nice, post surgical instructions were vague and my puppy ended up with a scrotum infection from an open scrotum. Either that's how they do it or the stitches dissolved from the bleeding, we all watched him like hawks & he didn't lick anything or run around.
