We took in our guinea pig, aged 7 years, who had lost a lot of weight in the previous 3-4 days and had stopped eating. He also had some drainage from one of his nostrils. Dr. Cooper used her stethoscope and also checked his teeth. She said something about the molars in the back were a little long and said that filing them down would help. She also said his lungs sounded good but she prescribed an antibiotic to prevent an upper respiratory infection infection. We were filled with hope. We trusted her, we trusted that a tiny bit of filing of his teeth was the answer. She took our little guy, put him under anesthesia and filed his teeth and molars. We took him home and there was no improvement. Our guy was just old. Our guy was just dying. Dr. Cooper should know that and should have told us that. She should have made suggestions for comfort care and provide us with guidance to regarding his imminent death. Instead, she chose to collect a few hundred dollars by performing an unnecessary procedure, causing our dying guinea pig unnecessary discomfort and shock. I find that to be cruel. She should have never subjected our 7 year-old super-skinny and dying guinea pig to an unnecessary procedure. Our money should be refunded, at minimum. So cruel. I've been bringing my pets here for 7 years and will continue to. The entire staff is kind and understanding. Our dogs love Dr. Bob too. Everyone treats our pets like we treat our pets, which I love. They are a little expensive, but they will take care of your fur babies like they are their own. They also take Care Credit, which was a life saver when our cat had to have several teeth pulled and a biopsy. They try to help cut expenses when they can, such as offering big discounts on vaccines and exams throughout the year. Read Less

We brought our cat there after reading their great reviews, our cat was fine until she got her rabies shot. Then a month later she would not eat, she lost A TON of weight. We brought her in for a weekend so they can hydrate her and feed her, they said she was doing really well and recommended they go ahead with surgery. When we brought her back home, they did not supply any pain medication, no special instructions on how to care for our cat after the surgery. She was constantly crying in pain from the time we brought her home, she couldn’t walk at all. She sadly passed after she struggled to hold on to life a day and a half after the surgery. We don’t know why they reccomended the surgery when she CLEARLY could not handle It. Remind you she was a healthy cat before we brought her to this place. Thanks a lot. Read Less

Hospital is one of only about 4 in Arizona that meet the absolute highest veterinary standards as regularly assessed by this professional veterinary hospital accreditation association. Lab on site, X-ray imaging, small animal and aviary specialists, 4regular vets, including one who has been there about 20 years. They are so compassionate I wish I could go there for my own needs. I've been going to All Creatures for many many years, and love everyone there. They have a nice little waiting area, coffee for while you wait, several exam rooms, and several doctors. The staff are very caring and do their best 2 find out exactly what you need and understand limitations you might have. They have even let one of my kids see some behind-the-scenes action! I was a new client of All Creatures and I was very impressed. I have two cats that needed checkups, an ear infection treated and dental work. The office staff were friendly, helpful, professional and took great care of my pets. Dr. Eric Roberts was friendly, easy to talk with, and answered all of my questions well. I also didn't feel overcharged or like I was being "sold" a bunch of unnecessary services. I genuinely felt like their patients (my pets) were their priority and they were doing everything possible to give helpful, quality, professional service. The office was clean, the other customers in the office were also friendly and from what I could tell, have trusted this office over time and that helped me feel more confident about the services my pets would receive. My mother and I have been taking our animals here for 20+ years, however, we never had an emergency until recently. My year old dachshund was having an anaphylactic allergic reaction at around 9am on a week day when I called the office to bring her in as an emergency visit. All Creatures told me they "could not fit her in" that day and that I would have to go to an emergency vet clinic to receive care. Does anyone know how expensive an emergency clinic is?! And why would I take my dog to an emergency clinic on a WEEK DAY when my vet office was open. That is why you build a relationship with your vet and have a primary vet. For situation like this. Thankfully my friend recommended her wonderful vet who I immediately called after All Creature refused to see my dog. I ended up going to my friend's vet 30 minutes later because they were willing to see my dog for an emergency even though they had never even met us before. If my dog had not been seen, she would have passed. I have now transferred all my animals and my mother has as well to our new vet. I am much more comfortable now if we ever have an emergency again knowing that my new primary vet is always willing to "fit us in" for emergencies.  I would strongly recommend that you do not waste your time building a relationship by going to this animal clinic because apparently it means nothing. I am so disappointed, but I am so thankful that I have moved vets and found one who genuinely cares & is also way more cost sensitive! Read Less

My cats new Dr.!  Very happy with the attention and care Bella received.  Got her in fast and treated quickly.  She needed testing and they kept her all day until she could pass urine, at no extra charge.  I never felt like my wallet was taken advantage of or my cat's health was comprised.  We will be back again! He was recommended to me by a friend who used him while her dog was in the last stages of her life.In November I got a Labrador puppy and decided to go with this vet after hearing how wonderful Dr.Bob was! First time here today. My bulldog/pug mix, Arley, saw Dr. Hooper for a slight limp he has on his right rear leg. Dr. Hooper was wonderful!!! Arley took to her right away! Even rolling over on the exam floor wanting belly rubs from her!! He does not do that for everyone! So I am very very pleased with my experience here, and feel that my concerns were properly addressed. The tech, Janelle(?) was wonderful as well! I cannot say enough good things about this practice! It was my first time here today for my bulldog/pug mix. He was seen by Dr. Hooper, and she was awesome with him!! I'm so happy I decided to give this clinic a try! The vets and staff are all wonderful and pleasant to work with. Dr. Matyjaszek was great and really took time to get to know our puppy. He was excited to work with an Wolfhound again and it felt great knowing he had Wolfhound experience. Our boy actually had some stomach issues recently and everyone there was very helpful, knowledgeable and accommodating to our needs. I wish they were open a bit later on Saturday's but otherwise a wonderful clinic! The costs for their services are also very reasonable in my opinion. He was drooling and I think I had read that such signs need to be checked out by a vet immediately.In this instance the drooling was not life threatening, however a thorough exam found another issue and the vet was professional, kind, and nonjudgemental of my decisions about treatment. I chose All Creatures Animal Clinic based on the Yelp reviews but I was still apprehensive. From the moment I stepped in the door, though, my fears were released. The office staff is friendly and the area looked modern and clean. Then we met Dr. Bob. Wow. He exemplifies everything I wanted in a veterinarian. He listened to my explanation of what I thought made my dog so horribly ill, performed a thorough examination and showed he cared about my dog's well being. After the blood tests, Dr. Bob explained the results in detail and didn't rush through. He answered all my questions. They also followed up the next day to check up on my dog. I didn't actually think they would but they did! Amazing! And to top it off, after I mentioned that my dog had stopped drinking water, they asked me to bring her in for some fluids without charging me for it. My dog has completely recovered. Dr. Ingram is an amazing veterinarian, he really cares, and his knowledge in unsurpassable. four of my dogs have/are under Dr. Ingram's care and I could not ever think about changing vets, yes he is that good! Price for services is also very reasonable, he has also from time to time reduced a cost or eliminated a fee if times are tough for the pet owner. Not to say its free but it sure is a great feeling to know the Dr. thinks of the furry ones whole family and not just making a big buck on one procedure. My cat had an abscess but at the time I didn't know if it was that or broken shoulder. All creatures squeezed me in the same day. Dr Roberts diagnosed the abscess. He rotated her shoulder and said since he could do that there was no need for an X-ray. I thought it was awesome that he didn't just take an X-ray and charge me for it just to make money. I felt like he was very straight to the point and honest. $$$$$$ Since that was my 1st appointment they gave me 1/2 off my exam. Then they emailed me a coupon $20 off my next visit. The prices are very reasonable especially for the quality care you get there. They have an online portal where you can keep track of everything. It's very convenient. $$$$I also brought my pig, Wednesday, in there for her yearly exam. They trimmed her hooves complimentary. I loved that I could schedule an appointment through live chat. I am pleasantly surprised that I was able to get my furbaby Angel in next day even though I am not an established client here. She is having a few issues that I need to have addressed and they took the time on live chat to find out what my concerns are. I've been bringing my pets to Dr. Roberts for several years. It's a long drive but well worth it!!! Dr. Roberts always does a great job addressing issues and going the extra mile. Recently, my daughter's cat had a large tumor near her liver which Dr. Roberts removed. The surgery was not easy and he took extra time to text and check in on her daily. Extremely professional and knowledgeable staff, care more about the pets health than making money. I have a 6 month old cane corso named dutchess and she's been extremely sick since last Friday. We have brought her to all creatures on that first Saturday, got some medication but couldn't keep her temperature down so we took her to the emergency vet that night. So at this point we are almost 1200 dollars into her. Come tuesday night, we found her fever still really high, so we bring her back to all creatures that wednesday. They had her at all creatures from open to close on constant fluids, blood tests dog food and constant care since then and are only charging is a minimal amount of 250 dollars. The amount of compassion and dedication that all creatures has to their patients is incredible. I will never go to anyone else. We usually work with Dr. Bob who is an amazing vet but he was on vacation. Dr Roberts helped us out and we couldn't be any happier with his work and dedication.Read Less

We have been patients, er, clients, of All Creatures Animal Clinic for years. Not consecutively. They compassionately helped us with our aging Australian Shepard mix years ago. More recently they have been helping us with Teddy Wagadoodle, our young Labradoodle. There was also a Guinea Pig who needed some special care. Not even sure what else. "All Creatures" means all creatures! Pricing at All Creatures is very reasonable, especially in comparison to the misguided year we just spent at Banfield. I'm not sure what we were thinking. Well, I do know. We fell victim to a special offer. So happy to be back at All Creatures. The staff is uniformly friendly, thoughtful and calming. The level of veterinary care is exceptional. Nothing more need be said.An added bonus. All Creatures is right next door to a good dog groomer and a great breakfast spot, the 40th Street Café. Only one problem, the café does not allow dogs. Dr. Bob is an absolutely amazing veterinarian! We had a cat named Domino who unfortunately got very sick due to acute kidney failure. During the last few weeks of Domino's life, we were frequent visitors to the hospital. Not only were they incredibly nice, constantly working with us to make sure Domino was comfortable and hydrated, but Dr. Bob didn't charge us for a lot of the care. Finally when it came time to put her down, they got us in immediately, were very sympathetic, didn't charge us for the procedure, and even sent us a "sorry for your loss" card. Domino meant the world to us and the care they gave her was more than we could've asked for. I highly recommend this hospital, they really do care for your furry family members!Read Less

Dr bob is great. I have a dog that does not trust people much and she likes him. I took my dog to a different vet and was diagnosed with torn acl. They wanted to amputate fot 5000. I needed a 2nd opinion so i brought her to dr roberts. That was the best thing i could of done. He said she did not need surgery just 4 weeks of bed rest and she will be better. Also it was not a acl problem. 4 week later and she is doing great. She also had a yeast infection and staff infection on her skin that the other vet would not treat thill the leg was better. We did both at the same time and it reduced the amount of time to heal. Love dr roberts and would recomend him to all. Read Less

Simply put... Dr. Bob is amazing!! I wrote a review (on my page) for the vet I was going to previously and I can tell you the difference was night and day!My dogs are like my children so I'm always a nervous wreck, but he was so thorough and caring and you can tell he really loves what he's doing so that alone put me at ease. He gave my dog a THOROUGH evaluation, meaning he checked his eyes, ears, etc. something my other vet had failed to do! He explained everything to me and answered any questions I had no matter how ridiculous.One thing in particular is that my previous vet had failed to recommend anything for my dog's teeth the last time I took him in, but Dr. Bob recommended I get him in right away for a cleaning/extractions because it was obviously severe. He pulled 18 teeth!! I was happy, but so sad because if my previous vet had done his job correctly my dog's teeth wouldn't have gotten so bad. I can't express enough how important it is to find the right vet!ANYWHO... I am so happy I found All Creatures and will continue to take both of my pupps to him. At the time I moved to the valley 5 years ago, All Creatures Animal Hospital was highly recommended to me and that's when I began seeing Dr. Bob. He and all the staff are beyond compassionate, professional and kind. They all have such big hearts and operate on a totally "what's best for your fur baby" and not "what's best for their pocket" attitude which I sincerely appreciate. As my fur baby reached the end of her wonderful life span, Dr. Bob was so helpful in helping me with the decision and made the actual procedure so much easier, if easy is a way of describing such a task.
