Today a 3 week old kitten fell off my roof during a monsoon storm, dirty and covered in fleas. I called CPAH and they got us in within an hour and a half! The staff was very friendly and made my anxious self feel calm and at ease. They examined him and cleaned him all up and he's looking so much better already! So with that intro...Fast forward to two weeks ago...My Little Girl, Ella, an Umbrella Cockatoo as well, was still wheezing after two days so I decided to take her to a vet. Because of Kylie, I was so scared to take her anywhere. I called and spoke to Paula, the receptionist. She informed me that this clinic does not take care of birds. As busy as she was, Paula took the time to look up the name of an Avian vet that the hospital recommended. She gave me the name of the vet where I took Ella. Thanks to Paula, she took the time to help me...and for that I'll always be grateful. Thanks Paula! :)

After explaining his symptoms I was told "well it will be a while" in a snarky tone. I then preceded to say I believe he may have kennel cough. I received a response of "well, I don't know what to tell you." The only positive part, she gave me directions to another vet that happily took us in.

The atmosphere at Central Phoenix Animal Hospital is very welcoming and all the staff are friendly and responsive. We are caretakers for the feral cats at Encanto Park and Dr Ruiz has been a wonderful resource whenever a cat from the Park has ended up coming home with us. I am very happy to have found Central Phoenix Animal Hospital.

Not only did Dr. Ruiz save my german shepherds life, she diagnosed a problem that a ""specialist"" missed ,, saving me alot of worry and money. Dr. Ruiz seems nice, but the other doc that comes in is rude and should not be in the business working with animals. So today i switched up to an animal hospital on 7th ave. However, if you like small places vet places and have a cat, then perhaps central phx hospital is for you.

We have had out pets under Dr. Ruiz's care for about 15 years. Her and her staff are always very kind and caring upon every visit. When we had to have our 17-year old cat euthanized, she was very compasionate and didn't even charge us. Our 16-year old border collie is doing well under her advice and care for his arthritis and age-related issues. We feel her staff (for the most part) enjoys working there, and it shows in the way we always feel welcome once we're in the door. The only thing we wish was better was the parking lot - it only has room for a few cars at a time, so it makes it tough getting in and out if you or other people are not there at your appointed times.

They weren't very good at handling people. The nurse made jokes about me being upset (I wasn't crying, I was just obviously concerned and asking questions). I didn't feel overly comfortable with my animal being left behind closed doors with them for a length of time. They took bl00d without asking me and did so behind closed doors. I'm no obnoxious cry baby...I give my animals their shots myself. I'd just prefer if they were going to stick him with needles that I be there...just like he's my kid. They were rather insensitive. I don't know if I'll go back

I walked in without an appointment after my new puppy spent all night hacking. On the website it clearly states they take walk ins. After explaining his symptoms I was told "well it will be a while" in a snarky tone. I then preceded to say I believe he may have kennel cough. I received a response of "well, I don't know what to tell you." The only positive part, she gave me directions to another vet that happily took us in.

Dr Ruiz and her staff have provided professional veterinary care for various cats of ours over the past several years. The atmosphere at Central Phoenix Animal Hospital is very welcoming and all the staff are friendly and responsive. We are caretakers for the feral cats at Encanto Park and Dr Ruiz has been a wonderful resource whenever a cat from the Park has ended up coming home with us. I am very happy to have found Central Phoenix Animal Hospital.

Central Phoenix Animal Hosp. has been my vet for many years and several of my neighbors also have gone there for years. I have three german shepherds and never consider taking them anywhere else. Not only did Dr. Ruiz save my german shepherds life, she diagnosed a problem that a ""specialist"" missed ,, saving me alot of worry and money. They are all about the animals they care for and thats what matters to me.

small place, smaller than a small studio apt...have to carry your pets around. when you call, get ready to be placed on hold...i just called to try and set up an appt...i go once a year at the most for shots; always a problem. Dr. Ruiz seems nice, but the other doc that comes in is rude and should not be in the business working with animals. So today i switched up to an animal hospital on 7th ave. However, if you like small places vet places and have a cat, then perhaps central phx hospital is for you.

We have had out pets under Dr. Ruiz's care for about 15 years. Her and her staff are always very kind and caring upon every visit. When we had to have our 17-year old cat euthanized, she was very compasionate and didn't even charge us. Our 16-year old border collie is doing well under her advice and care for his arthritis and age-related issues. We feel her staff (for the most part) enjoys working there, and it shows in the way we always feel welcome once we're in the door. The only thing we wish was better was the parking lot - it only has room for a few cars at a time, so it makes it tough getting in and out if you or other people are not there at your appointed times.

I started taking my puppy to Central Phx Animal Hosp. because it's right near my work. I love that they are even open on Saturdays! It makes things really convenient. Dr. Ruiz is very intuitive with animals and I love to see her interact with my dog. She listens to me well and the people in the office are very thorough and helpful. I would recommend this office to anyone who is looking for friendly service at affordable prices.

They weren't very good at handling people. The nurse made jokes about me being upset (I wasn't crying, I was just obviously concerned and asking questions). I didn't feel overly comfortable with my animal being left behind closed doors with them for a length of time. They took bl00d without asking me and did so behind closed doors. I'm no obnoxious cry baby...I give my animals their shots myself. I'd just prefer if they were going to stick him with needles that I be there...just like he's my kid. They were rather insensitive. I don't know if I'll go back
