When it came time to say goodbye to my dog of sixteen years, they treated it like he was a part of the family and made everyone comfortable and gave us all the time we needed. We brought our first family pet here for most of his 14 years and now 2 years later we are bringing our new puppy here for all his health needs. I love Dr. Chiles and all of the staff. They are knowledgeable, professional, friendly and very confident in handling our pets. I believe there was a change in ? mgmt. or staff; or something between our first and current pets and I like the change, more info/education provided to us. I really like the Puppy Package options as well. They make having a new puppy easy re: vaccinations; screenings and general care advice. We love Dr. Toncray! My husband and I have been bringing our Alaskan Malamute and will be taking our other dog, a Maltipoo as well. Nanook loves his doctor and she has been so patient with him, especially since he's had health issues the last year. She is very personable and thorough and we are just so pleased with our care there. The place was clean, the staff are so friendly, helpful, and generally care, and we've never had to wait long. They were amazing. I work for a dog groomer and someone brought in a two week old kitten that was sick. She ended up being too sick to save and had to be put down. It was a really sad situation all around, but it was made just THAT much easier by the amazing, caring staff at Ingleside. Meanwhile... I had been looking for a vet to take my precious pup. I've waited almost 2 months to write this because I have been somewhat conflicted. First let me say this is in no way Dr. Bart's fault. She is fabulous and took great care of my pets. I also think the vet techs were great and so was the front staff. I just think they made a huge mistake which cost my dog his life... I have been bringing my dog here for 3 years. I used to love this place, but after my most recent encounter I have decided to probably look for a different vet... It all started with one day when my poor baby was sick and throwing up and was developing a cough. I called the vet and asked them what to do, they recommended bringing him in of course, so I did. They ran every test, I didn't hold back (at first I tried to get them to do one at a time because I'm not rich but they wouldn't) and the vet bill totaled almost $700 with no answer as to what was wrong with my dog, just that he had to be put on antibiotics and they pumped him with fluids. They wanted to do a liver scan so I said sure, and they asked me to leave him for a few hours until they were able to do the scan. A few hours later he was ready to be picked up and I asked them how he was doing...they said great! He looked fine, a little drowsy but not shaking or coughing. They released him to my fiancé (I was at work) and he took him home where my poor baby boy died no more than 15 minutes later... I called them back and they then started telling me pricing on cremation. Um excuse me? No, you sent him home saying he was fine and you're gonna charge me an extra $80+ to get rid of his dead body? Absolutely disgusting and ridiculous. I've looked into other vets, some of the tests they ran (blood work, x-rays etc) are like half the price elsewhere...Read Less

This place doesn't care about your pet. All they want is to suck money out of you. They won't even give you advice over the phone, and won't get you in if there is a problem with your pet and the medication they prescribed. The quality of customer service here is what you wish you had everywhere else: outstanding!!! The front desk staff is great. I felt really good after scheduling Bear's appointment. I could already feel the good vibes! The hospital is very clean, well maintained, the examine rooms are spacious (perfect for an 84lbs. fur baby!) and everyone greets you with a smile. We had a great experience with Dr Toncray and staff. Our 8 1/2 yo Cocker tore her CCL ligament after trying to jump into our bed one night. We took her to Petsmart first just to see if it was a surgery thing or if we could get by with giving her Rimadyl for a week. Unfortunately they told us that it was too damaged and needed surgery. I found Ingleside based on Google reviews and they sounded good, close to our home. They were able to get our pup in for surgery the next morning, so that was nice not to have to wait! They even quoted a price over the phone and it was actually a bit lower when they were finished. Of course it is not cheap to operate on animals because they need to sedate and also block the spine so the dog doesn't kick involuntarily. Larger dogs cost more, but our costs were in line with what I read online. The procedure was described in full ahead of time and the follow up and drugs were included. I highly recommend Ingleside, everyone is caring and sincere. Read Less

My friend took better care of his beloved dog Duke than he does himself. He has been taking his boxer to Ingelside Animal Hospital since the day he was born. Shots, normal check and Neutering, etc. He brought Duke there after he showed signs of something VERY WRONG. Foaming at the mouth, lose of bodily fluids and confusion. A woman came out from the office and took a look at his dog in the truck...told him he'd have to wait or go somewhere else! Duke died at a animal hospital in Scottsdale after he was rushed in and cared for like he should have been. Twenty extra minutes he suffered. No one should be treated like this! I love this place! Everyone is amazing and sweet! The staff is wonderful and the doctors are fantastic. Dr. Hewitt took such great care of the late Mighty Memphis when he had a stroke and helped him make it to 18 years old and have another wonderful year with me. I want to thank Ingelside Animal Hospital, and especially Dr. Childs, for their compassion, ethics, and love for animals, Dr. Childs was able to do a though exam on Gabby after she had anesthesia and with my ok did an xray on the mass she had growing, that is when they found the cancer surrounding her spleen, they could have done her dental surgery and she would later have suffered with the cancer, as it is she went to sleep and never had to suffer, Love you guys, Thanks for loving my Gabby.
