Took my cat in for an infection on his paw. They treated him and gave him medication, which was all fine. Cost $1,000. Then, they told me to bring him back for regular bandage changes, which were quoted at $35 each. Then the story changed:
1. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment for the bandage changes THAT THEY REQUIRED.
2. When I finally did get one, it was $82, because now there was an exam fee in addition to the bandage change.
3. Following that, it was totally impossible to get an appointment for a bandage change. Finally, we just just brought him in to wait. We were then told no one was available to treat him, and if we wanted him seen, it was be the bandage change fee ($35), plus an exam fee ($50), PLUS an "emergency fee" ($80) because 'we didn't schedule an appointment.' To add insult to injury, they told us "they should have scheduled those appointments in advance when we initially treated your animal."
This is the most ridiculously terrible service I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing from a doctor, and shows a total lack of command of basic logistics. Don't take your animals here, there are plenty of other options available.

This place is full of miracle workers. Really! Our dog injested something he shouldn't have which caused a blockage. If it wasn't for the amazing staff and surgeons our boy wouldn't be here. This type of situation isn't cheap no matter where you go. The payment plan option helped make this possible.
It is super obvious they care. Like really really care about your pet. Just as if it was their own. Plus they gave our boy a free nail trim. We will definitely be returning in the future if needed.

Call to set up an appointment to get my litter their rabies vaccination and the mother's. Friendly on the phone were willing to make a deal that was affordable. I end up unloading my 9 dogs into their store then asked if I was going to be selling the dogs when I told them I was not and I was keeping my dogs they decided that the price they quoted me was not enough all of a sudden. Then they proceeded to inform me that not only will be a price difference and they were all schedule to get their rabies vaccination that day that they would not have enough time to complete the task That was already scheduled for. I ended up informing them that I would not feel comfortable with a company that can't give a proper "or schedule giving my dogs a needle in their bodies. At the end of the day would recommend this place to no one. Go to a vet you can trust with your dogs life. Mine are my best friends and I love them. I am appalled with this places business ethics, get someone with a lot of dogs inside the building just to say sorry we are going to charge you double and can't even do it today as scheduled.....

Took our kitten in for ear mite treatment after a couple of bad experiences at another vet. They got her in the same day and were so nice! They were thorough and let me ask questions. What really blew me away is that the vet herself, not a tech or assistant, called me 1 week after the appointment to make sure my kitten was doing better and see if I had any other concerns.
I will only use Bell Ridge for both of my cats from now on! They are the best!

Avoid Bell Ridge Animal Hospital at all costs.Brought in my dog when she hurt her leg and the doctor recommended a myriad of expensive tests which we later found out from several (more reliable) vets, were unnecessary. In addition, the recommendation from Bell Ridge was to have our pup undergo surgery on her leg; it turned out that was a completely bogus diagnosis. We would have spent thousands of dollars had we not been wise enough to seek a second and third opinion elsewhere.I can't emphasize enough how wrong it is to prey on vulnerable, anxious people with sick fur babies; you can take our hard-earned money, Bell Ridge, but you'll never win our respect or loyalty. And the truth ALWAYS comes out in the reviews.

Dr Horner saved my baby's life! Gidgit, my 10-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, ate a shoelace and it got stuck in her intestines. She had emergency surgery to remove the blockage and they found that her little intestines were severely damaged. We weren't sure if she would make it, but here we are, 5 days later and Gidgit is already up and about and wagging her tail and happy to be alive. She is well on her way to a full recovery. The care and service we received from the vet, techs and front desk staff was amazing and we feel they went above and beyond taking care of our girl. Their payment plans were a lifesaver also. Thank you!

Came home late last night to an abscess on my cats neck. I called this morning and they were able to get me in within two hours. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. Upon arriving, I was taken straight to a private room and not made to wait in a public area with my already stressed and scared cat. The vet nurse/tech came in after maybe 5 minutes and apologized for the wait! I told her she was still in before the time I was supposed to be there! She checked out my cat and went to get the doctor. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. They ended up keeping my cat for about 4 hours to lance the abscess and were able to do it all in office the day of. They also gave me a call to let me know that everything went well and that I would be able to pick up my pet early. I am very happy with the kind and quick service I received! I will definitely be back again!

The first few times we went here we loved it. Dr Horner clearly cares about the animals and it never personally struck me that they were trying to get as much money out of us as possible. She worked with us and trusted us as competent long time pet owners that we knew what to do in certain situations and never scolded us for taking some things into our own hands.However, the last half dozen times we used them, the staff working the front desk is ALWAYS amateur at best. They are often young clueless girls either fresh out of highschool or vet tech school with zero experience or a middle aged woman who clearly wants nothing more than to leave. This is bad when you have to spend 5 hours making phone calls trying to sort out a prescription for a very sick animal with them only to end up not even sorting it out because they cannot relay simple messages to the Dr regarding medications and dosages. Also, It's a 35 min drive for us with no traffic, and twice we showed for our appointments only to realize they didn't even have us scheduled. one of the times was in rush hour and took us over an hour to get there only to have a clueless young receptionist tell us we aren't even in the books. They can't answer many SIMPLE questions over the phone and truly seem to lie to you to get you to go away. DR HORNER, PLEASE PLEASE WEED OUR THE CLUELESS "GIRLS" WORKING YOUR PHONES!

My Bruno was brought in for a bite quarantine for 8 days. We have never been away from each other since I adopted him from the shelter 5yrs ago.
Already an emotional wreck from the incident,
when I found Bell Ridge Animal Hospital they were kind and supportive.
Although I live in the East Valley, I did not hesitate to drive all the way to Bell Rd based off of the 2 phone interactions I had with seperate staff members here.

I only trust this Vet Clinic! My 4 dogs go here. Dr. Horner & the whole Bell Ridge Staff is amazing and treat my dogs with tender love & care. My dog Hamlet & Alexandria both had surgery with Dr. Horner & both were in a timely manner, Dr. Horner personally called me to let me know how they were doing. My puppy Anubis, she is currently getting a puppy plan for vaccines & hasn't had a problem yet! My dog Samson has had problems with his hips & Dr. Horner went out of her way & looked online to search for some possible supplements to give him. When my dog Alexandria ballooned up; when she had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, I wasn't seen by Dr. Horner but the next day she called asking how she was, even though she wasn't the one to see her! Dr. Horner is my go to gal with my pups. I trust her & and all the Bell Ridge Team. You cannot find a better veterinarian in the valley!

I have read some of the horror stories in the reviews but as far as I have seen, none of them are true. We took our puppy Nina in to them after surviving parvo. Good time to get on the right track with vaccinations and such. First visit was great and they took her to a separate room to vaccinate to prevent our puppy from associating us with her short bit of pain. 3 weeks later (yesterday) she went in for her booster, chip, and spaying. Dropped her off at 7:30am, discussed cost and payment (set up a payment plan), and left waiting to hear when we get to pick her up. Got the text about 10:30am (surgery went great and will be ready at 4pm). Got there at 4pm and they went over the medicine and finished up the last bit of paperwork. Took our puppy home with no problems yet. Today, Dr. Tang actually called to check on Nina and make sure she is doing good. In about 10 days, I will be taking her back to make sure everything is fine in the healing process.

The people at Bell Ridge Animal Hospital are the kindest, caring people you could ever meet. They genuinely took an interest in my injured companion animal Penney. She had torn ACL's in both hind legs, could not walk and required two surgeries to repair the damage. I survive on a very limited disability income and could not afford the surgeries. Bell Ridge worked with me toward getting Penney cared for and suggested a Go Fund Me campaign, which raised the money for Penney's first surgery and is helping toward the second. I brought my cat in for breathing issues, she had fluid in her chest.. I felt so lost and confused and hopeless. They either wanted me to take her to another location and spend hundreds more to do additional testing, or euthanize her there. I was shocked, I went in for an appointment and suddenly I'm planning my cats death. It wasn't until I called someone to come to the vet, to be with me for support, and with more of a level head, they began asking questions.. they then offered up a antibiotic shot so I could take her home for the night. They made me feel like my only option was to kill her. Long story short, I took her home, had my regular vet look at her x ray, and a week later I'm so thankful I didn't just have her put down because her fluid has subsided, my vet gave her antibiotics, and she's back to her normal self. Go there if you must, but don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

I refuse to see anyone but Doctor Horner. She has taken great care of my three pups. Two of them just had surgery, she sent home pictures, took very good care of them.. Doctor told me there were no ear mites, after doing a slide on each ear, and said it was an ear infection. $170 for visit, exam, and medication. After a week on the medications, I called them and told them she was doing WORSE, not better. You think they would say "bring her in, we'll look at her." No, they said it would cost me another office visit and additional tests. I couldn't afford to bring her back in until my next payday after paying them $170 last week. She died yesterday in my arms. I cried and cried and all I could do was say I am so sorry, Cassie. I had actually made an appointment for her the next day (my payday) at a different vet. But it was too late. So now I have my precious Cassie and I don't know what to do with her. I called them, and they said it will be $58 to dispose of her body!!! Seriously?!? I came to you for help to save her. You basically killed my cat, and now you want to charge me to dispose of the body?

They squeezed me in for a later appt(receptionist was awesome), tech was great and reassuring, doc was great as well (went out of her way to get a generic med, was fair about how much work was required). It was the RIGHT care and it was good care. The bill was a little more than I would have liked to have paid but I happily did and would again for service like that. Thanks again all of you. We were told they were about to wash it leaving us to wonder just how long it had been that way. Once we got home our dog went directly to where her dish was, we fed her and she gobbled it up though she has never been a fast eater. I'll never use them again! This hospital was the best animal hospital I have ever took my dog to. So stop looking and come here! I had to decide to put my dog down to rest last minute (so I was alone). And the Vet Dr hugged me for so long while I was sobbing and very upset.... And she told me personal stories about how she had to put down her dog at one point in her life and how it was the right thing to do. They were so nice in my time of grieving and you could tell they were sad for me as I was there in so much pain. The whole staff was so friendly and patient with me. They put out a sign in the waiting room for my dog passing away and a candle. Then sent me a sweet note with his paw prints in the mail which I am framing. I am taking my other puppy here and no where else! Thank you Bell Ridge for helping me with this.... God Bless You All.

My experience with the staff was so positive. They fixed my Midnite with so much care. He had some kind of growth on the back of his leg that was growing so fast and doubling it's size in a day. I wouldn't take him to any other clinic/hospital ever! They go well beyond in the care of your family member and treat them as such. Their hours are so considerate and convenient to everyone. They are open 7 days a week and open 7-7.

DO NOT GO THERE! Money is their top priority. They will do anything they can to get you to come back in and pay another office visit fee of $50. I initially came in for vaccinations and kennel cough medication. After explaining to them that I needed the cheapest route possible because I don't have a lot of money, they advised me that it would be best to wait on the vaccines until she is healed with kennel cough. So, I received the kennel cough medication and came in three weeks later to do the vaccines. After arriving at that appointment to do the vaccines, they advised me that two out of the three vaccines would need a booster in three weeks, something that the doctor didn't tell me last time when i explained I need to cheapest route possible- very shady.That's another office visit fee, and vaccine fee. They neglected to tell I could have done the vaccines at the first initial visit, which would have saved me $100+. This might not be much money for some people, but for me that's huge.

The Dr and all the staff were very compassionate when we had to put our cat down. They were honest and understanding and did all they could do to get us thru the entire process. I just moved to the area and first time we had to use any vet services here.
First clinic we stopped at was open but vet not in for 2 hours. They did not even contact to see if they could get in asap as the cat was obviously in bad shape. But that is for another review.
Just know that i will be bringing all of my other seven animals to this clinic for treatment.

I called North Central Animal hospital that was recommended by a family friend but they were booked with only "urgent care" appointments available for an extra fee. My experience was that you either have an appointment available or you don't . I kept on calling nearby vets and came across this gem - kind and understanding staff, amazing service, more than reasonable rates . And no hidden fees! Thank you!

One week ago today, my roommate was walking my 2 year old Min Pin. He lost control of the leash and the dog bolted into traffic and got hit by a car. My roommate and the driver took my dog here (I was still at work). During the short time they were at Bell Ridge, my dog ended up having a seizure. Because I was not there to take financial responsibility (my roommate didn't have his phone on him so they couldn't get a hold of me without leaving the hospital together), they refused to do anything for my dog. My roommate and the driver ended up having to drive home with the very injured dog who just got hit by a car in the head and had a seizure, pick up his phone to call me then drive to another vet where they actually took care of him. I can understand they have probably had people drop sick/injured animals there and not pick them back up but this was ridiculous!

I would like to first off say that I have taken my fur babies to many vets in the past looking for someone that both I and my three rescue Chihuahuas love. This location is very close to my home and decided to come in based on a recommendation from a friend. I have now had to come in twice, once for my 8 year old and then again for my 3 year old.Dr. David Tang is by far the best vet I have ever worked with. He made sure I fully understood what was going on, and that I would be able to afford it. They have been just great!I will be coming here for all of my veterinarian needs going forward.

This place is great! The staff is wonderful. Every time that we take our pups here for shots or check ups they give them little "cookies" which make the visits go so much easier. After boarding them there too they come super tired and the staff comments on how wonderful our dogs are - not to mention being as small as I am with two crazy dogs the staff also helps me take them out to my car when I pick them up after boarding. This past visit we had them groomed and they smelled great, looked great, and we even got a discount! I would highly recommend Bell Ridge to anyone that is looking for a vet, groomers, or boarding facility.

Just brought my pup Roi to get neutered. The staff was pretty good, they treated my dog with care and I think they did everything pretty quickly, drop off at 7:30am and pick up at 3:00. They did kinda try to upsell a bunch of stuff that kinda sounds like your dog is going to die if you don't but that's just the way it goes now-a-days. The Vet himself was kinda dry and a little short with words, but I didn't have many questions, the vet techs were very friendly and informative. My cat is due for a checkup soon so I may be using their services again shortly, because I was please with my visit, and Roi has been doing great since the surgery, healed quickly and never winced in pain.

I've been bringing my critters in to see Dr. Joel Ruehs at Bell Ridge Animal Hospital for 8 years now. The staff is so friendly, the facility is clean, and Dr. Ruehs is very well educated on little critters (which can be difficult to find in a vet!). I do wish they were located a bit closer to my home, but it really is worth the drive to to have good quality medical care for my four-legged babies.

Took my cat in for an infection on his paw. They treated him and gave him medication, which was all fine. Cost $1,000. Then, they told me to bring him back for regular bandage changes, which were quoted at $35 each. Then the story changed:
1. It was nearly impossible to get an appointment for the bandage changes THAT THEY REQUIRED.
2. When I finally did get one, it was $82, because now there was an exam fee in addition to the bandage change.
3. Following that, it was totally impossible to get an appointment for a bandage change. Finally, we just just brought him in to wait. We were then told no one was available to treat him, and if we wanted him seen, it was be the bandage change fee ($35), plus an exam fee ($50), PLUS an "emergency fee" ($80) because 'we didn't schedule an appointment.' To add insult to injury, they told us "they should have scheduled those appointments in advance when we initially treated your animal."
This is the most ridiculously terrible service I've ever had the displeasure of experiencing from a doctor, and shows a total lack of command of basic logistics. Don't take your animals here, there are plenty of other options available.

This place is full of miracle workers. Really! Our dog injested something he shouldn't have which caused a blockage. If it wasn't for the amazing staff and surgeons our boy wouldn't be here. This type of situation isn't cheap no matter where you go. The payment plan option helped make this possible.
It is super obvious they care. Like really really care about your pet. Just as if it was their own. Plus they gave our boy a free nail trim. We will definitely be returning in the future if needed.

Call to set up an appointment to get my litter their rabies vaccination and the mother's. Friendly on the phone were willing to make a deal that was affordable. I end up unloading my 9 dogs into their store then asked if I was going to be selling the dogs when I told them I was not and I was keeping my dogs they decided that the price they quoted me was not enough all of a sudden. Then they proceeded to inform me that not only will be a price difference and they were all schedule to get their rabies vaccination that day that they would not have enough time to complete the task That was already scheduled for. I ended up informing them that I would not feel comfortable with a company that can't give a proper "or schedule giving my dogs a needle in their bodies. At the end of the day would recommend this place to no one. Go to a vet you can trust with your dogs life. Mine are my best friends and I love them. I am appalled with this places business ethics, get someone with a lot of dogs inside the building just to say sorry we are going to charge you double and can't even do it today as scheduled.....

Took our kitten in for ear mite treatment after a couple of bad experiences at another vet. They got her in the same day and were so nice! They were thorough and let me ask questions. What really blew me away is that the vet herself, not a tech or assistant, called me 1 week after the appointment to make sure my kitten was doing better and see if I had any other concerns.
I will only use Bell Ridge for both of my cats from now on! They are the best!

Avoid Bell Ridge Animal Hospital at all costs.Brought in my dog when she hurt her leg and the doctor recommended a myriad of expensive tests which we later found out from several (more reliable) vets, were unnecessary. In addition, the recommendation from Bell Ridge was to have our pup undergo surgery on her leg; it turned out that was a completely bogus diagnosis. We would have spent thousands of dollars had we not been wise enough to seek a second and third opinion elsewhere.I can't emphasize enough how wrong it is to prey on vulnerable, anxious people with sick fur babies; you can take our hard-earned money, Bell Ridge, but you'll never win our respect or loyalty. And the truth ALWAYS comes out in the reviews.

Dr Horner saved my baby's life! Gidgit, my 10-month-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, ate a shoelace and it got stuck in her intestines. She had emergency surgery to remove the blockage and they found that her little intestines were severely damaged. We weren't sure if she would make it, but here we are, 5 days later and Gidgit is already up and about and wagging her tail and happy to be alive. She is well on her way to a full recovery. The care and service we received from the vet, techs and front desk staff was amazing and we feel they went above and beyond taking care of our girl. Their payment plans were a lifesaver also. Thank you!

Came home late last night to an abscess on my cats neck. I called this morning and they were able to get me in within two hours. I showed up 15 minutes early for my appointment. Upon arriving, I was taken straight to a private room and not made to wait in a public area with my already stressed and scared cat. The vet nurse/tech came in after maybe 5 minutes and apologized for the wait! I told her she was still in before the time I was supposed to be there! She checked out my cat and went to get the doctor. I was in and out in about 30 minutes. They ended up keeping my cat for about 4 hours to lance the abscess and were able to do it all in office the day of. They also gave me a call to let me know that everything went well and that I would be able to pick up my pet early. I am very happy with the kind and quick service I received! I will definitely be back again!

She worked with us and trusted us as competent long time pet owners that we knew what to do in certain situations and never scolded us for taking some things into our own hands.However, the last half dozen times we used them, the staff working the front desk is ALWAYS amateur at best. They are often young clueless girls either fresh out of highschool or vet tech school with zero experience or a middle aged woman who clearly wants nothing more than to leave. This is bad when you have to spend 5 hours making phone calls trying to sort out a prescription for a very sick animal with them only to end up not even sorting it out because they cannot relay simple messages to the Dr regarding medications and dosages. Also, It's a 35 min drive for us with no traffic, and twice we showed for our appointments only to realize they didn't even have us scheduled. one of the times was in rush hour and took us over an hour to get there only to have a clueless young receptionist tell us we aren't even in the books. They can't answer many SIMPLE questions over the phone and truly seem to lie to you to get you to go away. DR HORNER, PLEASE PLEASE WEED OUR THE CLUELESS "GIRLS" WORKING YOUR PHONES!

My Bruno was brought in for a bite quarantine for 8 days. We have never been away from each other since I adopted him from the shelter 5yrs ago.
Already an emotional wreck from the incident,
when I found Bell Ridge Animal Hospital they were kind and supportive.
Although I live in the East Valley, I did not hesitate to drive all the way to Bell Rd based off of the 2 phone interactions I had with seperate staff members here.

I only trust this Vet Clinic! My 4 dogs go here. Dr. Horner & the whole Bell Ridge Staff is amazing and treat my dogs with tender love & care. My dog Hamlet & Alexandria both had surgery with Dr. Horner & both were in a timely manner, Dr. Horner personally called me to let me know how they were doing. My puppy Anubis, she is currently getting a puppy plan for vaccines & hasn't had a problem yet! My dog Samson has had problems with his hips & Dr. Horner went out of her way & looked online to search for some possible supplements to give him. When my dog Alexandria ballooned up; when she had an allergic reaction to a bug bite, I wasn't seen by Dr. Horner but the next day she called asking how she was, even though she wasn't the one to see her! Dr. Horner is my go to gal with my pups. I trust her & and all the Bell Ridge Team. You cannot find a better veterinarian in the valley!

I have read some of the horror stories in the reviews but as far as I have seen, none of them are true. We took our puppy Nina in to them after surviving parvo. Good time to get on the right track with vaccinations and such. First visit was great and they took her to a separate room to vaccinate to prevent our puppy from associating us with her short bit of pain. 3 weeks later (yesterday) she went in for her booster, chip, and spaying. Dropped her off at 7:30am, discussed cost and payment (set up a payment plan), and left waiting to hear when we get to pick her up. Got the text about 10:30am (surgery went great and will be ready at 4pm). Got there at 4pm and they went over the medicine and finished up the last bit of paperwork. Took our puppy home with no problems yet. Today, Dr. Tang actually called to check on Nina and make sure she is doing good. In about 10 days, I will be taking her back to make sure everything is fine in the healing process.

She had torn ACL's in both hind legs, could not walk and required two surgeries to repair the damage. I survive on a very limited disability income and could not afford the surgeries. Bell Ridge worked with me toward getting Penney cared for and suggested a Go Fund Me campaign, which raised the money for Penney's first surgery and is helping toward the second. I brought my cat in for breathing issues, she had fluid in her chest.. I felt so lost and confused and hopeless. They either wanted me to take her to another location and spend hundreds more to do additional testing, or euthanize her there. I was shocked, I went in for an appointment and suddenly I'm planning my cats death. It wasn't until I called someone to come to the vet, to be with me for support, and with more of a level head, they began asking questions.. they then offered up a antibiotic shot so I could take her home for the night. They made me feel like my only option was to kill her. Long story short, I took her home, had my regular vet look at her x ray, and a week later I'm so thankful I didn't just have her put down because her fluid has subsided, my vet gave her antibiotics, and she's back to her normal self. Go there if you must, but don't be afraid to get a second opinion.

I love Doctor Horner! After being screwed over by 1st Pet Vet (they charged me way too much and almost killed my dog) I found Bell Ridge and it was the greatest thing ever! I refuse to see anyone but Doctor Horner. She has taken great care of my three pups. Two of them just had surgery, she sent home pictures, took very good care of them.. Doctor told me there were no ear mites, after doing a slide on each ear, and said it was an ear infection. $170 for visit, exam, and medication. After a week on the medications, I called them and told them she was doing WORSE, not better. You think they would say "bring her in, we'll look at her." No, they said it would cost me another office visit and additional tests. I couldn't afford to bring her back in until my next payday after paying them $170 last week. She died yesterday in my arms. I cried and cried and all I could do was say I am so sorry, Cassie. I had actually made an appointment for her the next day (my payday) at a different vet. But it was too late. So now I have my precious Cassie and I don't know what to do with her. I called them, and they said it will be $58 to dispose of her body!!! Seriously?!? I came to you for help to save her. You basically killed my cat, and now you want to charge me to dispose of the body?

They squeezed me in for a later appt(receptionist was awesome), tech was great and reassuring, doc was great as well (went out of her way to get a generic med, was fair about how much work was required). It was the RIGHT care and it was good care. The bill was a little more than I would have liked to have paid but I happily did and would again for service like that. Thanks again all of you. We left our dog for boarding for what was supposed to be a 16-day stay. We returned a day early and was very disappointed to find her dog bed soaked with urine. We were told they were about to wash it leaving us to wonder just how long it had been that way. Once we got home our dog went directly to where her dish was, we fed her and she gobbled it up though she has never been a fast eater. I'll never use them again! I feel like they just 'warehoused' my dog, not care for her as we expected. Very disappointed. Oh, even after washing the dog bed we had to buy another one, the stink remained. Done with them!!!!

This hospital was the best animal hospital I have ever took my dog to. So stop looking and come here! I had to decide to put my dog down to rest last minute (so I was alone). And the Vet Dr hugged me for so long while I was sobbing and very upset.... And she told me personal stories about how she had to put down her dog at one point in her life and how it was the right thing to do. They were so nice in my time of grieving and you could tell they were sad for me as I was there in so much pain. The whole staff was so friendly and patient with me. They put out a sign in the waiting room for my dog passing away and a candle. Then sent me a sweet note with his paw prints in the mail which I am framing. I am taking my other puppy here and no where else! Thank you Bell Ridge for helping me with this.... God Bless You All.

My experience with the staff was so positive. They fixed my Midnite with so much care. He had some kind of growth on the back of his leg that was growing so fast and doubling it's size in a day. I wouldn't take him to any other clinic/hospital ever! They go well beyond in the care of your family member and treat them as such. Their hours are so considerate and convenient to everyone. They are open 7 days a week and open 7-7.

DO NOT GO THERE! Money is their top priority. They will do anything they can to get you to come back in and pay another office visit fee of $50. I initially came in for vaccinations and kennel cough medication. After explaining to them that I needed the cheapest route possible because I don't have a lot of money, they advised me that it would be best to wait on the vaccines until she is healed with kennel cough. So, I received the kennel cough medication and came in three weeks later to do the vaccines. After arriving at that appointment to do the vaccines, they advised me that two out of the three vaccines would need a booster in three weeks, something that the doctor didn't tell me last time when i explained I need to cheapest route possible- very shady.That's another office visit fee, and vaccine fee. They neglected to tell I could have done the vaccines at the first initial visit, which would have saved me $100+. This might not be much money for some people, but for me that's huge.

The Dr and all the staff were very compassionate when we had to put our cat down. They were honest and understanding and did all they could do to get us thru the entire process. I just moved to the area and first time we had to use any vet services here.
First clinic we stopped at was open but vet not in for 2 hours. They did not even contact to see if they could get in asap as the cat was obviously in bad shape. But that is for another review.
Just know that i will be bringing all of my other seven animals to this clinic for treatment.

My experience was that you either have an appointment available or you don't . I kept on calling nearby vets and came across this gem - kind and understanding staff, amazing service, more than reasonable rates . And no hidden fees! Thank you!

One week ago today, my roommate was walking my 2 year old Min Pin. He lost control of the leash and the dog bolted into traffic and got hit by a car. My roommate and the driver took my dog here (I was still at work). During the short time they were at Bell Ridge, my dog ended up having a seizure. Because I was not there to take financial responsibility (my roommate didn't have his phone on him so they couldn't get a hold of me without leaving the hospital together), they refused to do anything for my dog. My roommate and the driver ended up having to drive home with the very injured dog who just got hit by a car in the head and had a seizure, pick up his phone to call me then drive to another vet where they actually took care of him. I can understand they have probably had people drop sick/injured animals there and not pick them back up but this was ridiculous!

This location is very close to my home and decided to come in based on a recommendation from a friend. I have now had to come in twice, once for my 8 year old and then again for my 3 year old.Dr. David Tang is by far the best vet I have ever worked with. This place is great! The staff is wonderful. Every time that we take our pups here for shots or check ups they give them little "cookies" which make the visits go so much easier. After boarding them there too they come super tired and the staff comments on how wonderful our dogs are - not to mention being as small as I am with two crazy dogs the staff also helps me take them out to my car when I pick them up after boarding. This past visit we had them groomed and they smelled great, looked great, and we even got a discount! I would highly recommend Bell Ridge to anyone that is looking for a vet, groomers, or boarding facility.

Just brought my pup Roi to get neutered. The staff was pretty good, they treated my dog with care and I think they did everything pretty quickly, drop off at 7:30am and pick up at 3:00. They did kinda try to upsell a bunch of stuff that kinda sounds like your dog is going to die if you don't but that's just the way it goes now-a-days. The Vet himself was kinda dry and a little short with words, but I didn't have many questions, the vet techs were very friendly and informative. My cat is due for a checkup soon so I may be using their services again shortly, because I was please with my visit, and Roi has been doing great since the surgery, healed quickly and never winced in pain.

I've been bringing my critters in to see Dr. Joel Ruehs at Bell Ridge Animal Hospital for 8 years now. The staff is so friendly, the facility is clean, and Dr. Ruehs is very well educated on little critters (which can be difficult to find in a vet!). I do wish they were located a bit closer to my home, but it really is worth the drive to to have good quality medical care for my four-legged babies.
