Dear God, I wish I could give this place SO many negative stars. We chose NPAC to care for our brand new golden retriever puppy. We made sure to bring our breeder's paperwork and the vaccine schedule any time we went so they could check things off and make sure we were up to date. So we spayed our puppy on Good Friday and she started getting sick the following week--no eating, no drinking, throwing up everywhere, lost a TON of weight immediately. Sunday was spent throwing up everywhere. We took her in Monday morning, and the vet didn't seem too concerned because he didn't run ANY tests on her. He gave her a shot for nausea, a shot for pain, and an antibiotic just in case it was an infection from getting spayed. She wasn't getting better, so we took her back Tuesday morning, and the vet tested for Parvo--she was positive. He gave her fluids and an antibiotic shot and told my husband that she hadn't had her last parvo vaccine....but was operated on anyway. My husband took her home and went to work. When I had gotten home from work, she had died probably right after my husband had left. So because the vet didn't keep accurate records and wouldn't check our sheet off each time, he spayed her and exposed her to Parvo, which ended up killing her because he also refused to run ANY tests on Monday, even though we insisted because we were afraid it was Valley Fever, and we wanted to catch it early. But since he "didn't feel like it was necessary," our pure-bred golden retriever puppy died at 6 months old. DO NOT GO HERE if you actually love your pet(s).I want to hold them accountable and I want them to refund my money for the spay AND for the "services" we received on Monday and Tuesday, because they didn't do anything to actually cure my puppy, and they're the reason she's dead. My wife and I got our puppy from a shelter and went to North Phoenix Spay and Neuter for her to get spayed. They had a great staff and treated our puppy well. We had some concerns when our puppy started to throw up after being spayed. They had us come in the hour that she started having troubles and observed her at no cost! Also, During the first appointment we told the Vet that our puppy has been having stomach issues since we got her and has unable to eat dog food with out having diarrhea. We tried several dog foods were always unsuccessful and ended up having to make all her food by scratch. The Vet recommended a couple other dog foods for us to use and we ended up buying Merrick's despite being skeptical that it would work. After a few days of feeding it two our pup we have showed no sign of diarrhea and her stools look very healthy. My experience with N. Phoenix Spay & Neuter Clinic began when I recently moved to the North Central Phoenix area. I was in my new place for 2 days when on my way to work on the third day I saw a black cat who was huddled in the stairwell of my apartments. I didn't have time to investigate anything about the animal so I went on my way. I came home approximately 8 hours later to find this same cat huddled right at my doorstep. It looked as if it's tail had been injured and was scared to death. I brought him in even though my two cats, ages 11 and 12, were not happy about that decision. I figured out that he was most likely had been abandoned. He was about close to a year old, and was in need of neutering in a big way. I found this clinic and made an appointment. I took him in and had him fixed, or so I thought. In the first week afterwards, he hadn't changed a bit, still tom cat all the way, second week, same story. I called the clinic and they said that that was normal for a cat to take a while to change. By the third week I was really concerned and noticed that he still had a testicle (just 1). So I called and made another appointment, and sure enough, it was a testicle and he hadn't been fixed at all! I'm still upset about this. They did neuter him again, and so far it seems to be fine. However, how does this happen? I've had animals my entire life and have never ever had a mishap like this. They did the second neutering free, but I had to take time out of work because they were going to be closed on the next 2 Saturdays. That COST me money....I was pissed...and, I STILL want my money back period! Watch out for this place....this whole experience should have Never had to happen if they weren't SO CARELESS! Read Less

Read Less
