This Animal Hospital makes me very thankful for my own vet. I recently adopted a dog from Chi Town Rescue & they use this clinic. Trying to get information & records on my dog was frustratingly time consuming. The reception desk staff are incredibly disorganized & their fall back response to almost every question is, "I can't answer that as I'm not a Vet tech". Then they put me on hold long enough for me to take a shower! It took three calls to finally get my rescued dog's medical records. I also had questions about my dog's surgery & asked the receptionist to have the Dr. call me. He never did. I am just thankful this is not the vet I use. Unfortunately I had to deal with them as the rescue shelter I adopted from uses them. Read Less

Fair priced, and friendly counter help, been taking my dogs there for years but lately service has went down, would make a appointment come in and they would say he has no appointment today, what are you serious, took my dog in for a leg injury wrist area,the took x rays blood test close to $500 dollars later they give me a prescription for swelling and pain, 4 days later they call and said you need to bring your dog back in , we lost the blood test, my dog got a swelled up wrist area injury so moving this 80 pound dog with a injury is hart braking, to watch him liming around in pain, took him back in and they have to noticed his wrist area swelled, never said nothing, I really dont thing they care they just want the money. get ready to spend some money if you come here.. Office staff is AWFUL. Originally went here with my turtle. They had an awful hard time being able to communicate with me. My turtle ended up passing whole under their care. My sister has taken her new puppy here. She says she loves the doctor, but called with a concern and waited all day just to be given an attitude by a lady about call backs. Will not be returning here which is too bad because they have specialists and are very close to my house. Read Less

My original post gave Palm Glen fewer stars; I was unfairly comparing them to our long time vet who started Palm Glen and has opened his own practice in Scottsdale. I got used to receiving a call the day after the appointment, asking how my cat was. I'm changing it to four stars because while they don't measure up to our 'old vet', they did okay. I also give them credit for not painting over the beautiful murals in the exam rams that were done many years ago. Read Less

I started taking just one of our dogs here, they provided such excellent service that we now have taken 3 of our dogs to Palm Glenn. They are exceptional and the customer service is amazing. They called me on the weekend to check up on my Missy when she has gotten spayed. They genuinely care for the animals that see them. The newest addition to our family is a husky and he loves the doctors and staff. When he comes in everyone welcomes him. I'm glad that we found a place that cares and loves our fury animals. I'd NEVER take a fur baby of mine to this place after what they did to a friend's cat. SHAME ON YOU PALM GLEN ANIMAL HOSPITAL. The Dr. that saw our little puppy was very caring and genuinely wanted to provide the best care for our dog. He wasn't rushing and took his time to explain my dog's condition, as well as all of our options. The nurses were also very compassionate and you can tell they are passionate about helping dogs. So we took our little rescued chihuahua "Paco" in to have his injured eye looked at. When we rescued him a year ago we took him somewhere else and they made him go defensive Immediately. This time we went to Palm Glen and he was almost comfortable with them within minutes. It says ALOT about the place and staff when an abandoned, abused animal can accept them so quickly. My precious cat Champ lived a happily long life 18 years and 8 months ending on Feb. 7, 2017. He could no longer walk from arthritis and other serious health problems. My husband and I made the decision to find a hospital that could take him in immediately to get enthusiasm and cremated. I called several animal hospitals and the cost was extremely high or they could not see us until.the morning. I called Palm Glen Animal hospital the staff was so caring and compassionate the cost was the lesser of all and said to come on in asap. I was extremely pleased with my entire difficult experience but felt so loved. Thank you to all the team. I will bring my living two cats to Palm Glen for all their care in the near future. I am a vet tech at a hospital in Phoenix, but I took my foster dog to see Dr Mangone at Palm Glen Animal Hospital yesterday. It was my first visit there. I was so impressed with the office. The building is very nice, clean and cheerful. The staff is amazing and knowledgeable. Dr Mangone is thorough and caring. This was a Foster Dog, a dog in rescue and I felt he gave this little dog the same level of care that a dog that belonged to an owner would have gotten. This truly impressed me. I wish I had found this hospital when I adopted my kitten. I took my older cat in because the other hospital could not see her, even though I explained how lethargic and poorly she was. I was welcomed immediately and they treated my little lady as if she was their own. They told her she was beautiful..and she is. LOL But, from the moment I walked through the door, both my Miss Missy and I felt comfort and reassurance. Miss Missy was not at all alarmed as most animals are when entering a new facility.They fixed my girl up and no, the price was not outrageous. She is back to acting like and playing with my kitten. And I get kisses from her again. All because she was treated quickly. Once my contract ends with the other hospital, my younger cat will be going to Palm Glen Animal Hospital too. My cat Morrison was straining to urinate so I brought him to Palm Glen in a pinch. It's good they're open on the weekends!! They had to hospitalize him for a few days, but Dr. Adele was very nice and helpful. She helped my mother and I a lot and gave me updates on my furbaby. He suffered from urinary stones, or a UTI or something. She prescribed him a urinary tract diet and Morrison has been doing great! We we're thankful for the care he received! Thanks Palm Glen! Our rabbit Smokey was unwell. The staff at Palm Glen was one of the few places that saw small animals like rabbits. They were also sensitive to our financial needs, so they were willing to prescribe medication for our pet without going through extensive x-rays and lab work. Be very careful! They treated our litter of puppies. We paid this clinic around 6K in 2014 and were told we were all paid up after all but two of the puppies died. In Jan of 2016 we get a call from a collection agency that we owed someone $$$. Thought it was some mistake. We had not heard a word from Palm Glen in 2+ years, except reminder cards for shots for our dead puppies. It was a horrible heart wrenching experience. Collections!!! Really?!?! Read Less

WARNING The people and manager are disrespectful and do not no anything about animals. the will lie and make up false info to get you to pay hundreds. And they want money first, Say any thing to get you to sign agreement . All 2nd hand. I made appointment for my animal to have teeth cleaned and to be nuterd the tech or vet told me that it was not nessary to have that done hold off. But advissed me to have a xray done because she told me he had a heart mere mere and that she was attending that first while having three price quotes in hand. Took friend for his dog appointment the was suppose to have his teeth check and also talk to vet.about getting his dog neutered. Well when he came out they didnt talk anything he had his appointment fof instead they took X Rays and told him the dog had an infection they didnt give a script for the infection the just told him it was $390.00for his first visit when he got he left records for dog there he called them and they told him the could find the he ask to talk to the vet and they told him tbe vet wasnt there he ask for somebody in charge and again they told him nobody was there, so if there wasnt a vet. there who check the dog and told him he had an infection when he calle d again he ask to talk to the person who check his dog he was put on hold when she came back they told they didnt know who it was and told him not to call back again.I would not take dog there cause they do they things and not what there for and charge you a outrageous PRICE and not seen by a vet.and not checking his dog waz there for STAY AWAY DOG OWNERS FROM THIS PLACE. WATCH OUT!!!! PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO YOUR CHARGES!!!!! I loved this vet. For over two years they provided wonderful service to my animals. I can no longer say this. My past visits I have been over charged significantly. Quoted one thing on the phone only to show up and pay another. Then, when debating the charges with an employee, the head doctor of the facility, came out in a very unprofessional manner to join the debate. To top it off, my pet and I can no longer return because we were upset when disputing the charges.
