If you want to go 3 times to get your pet fixed for a simple ear infection after following their instructions and medicine it starts to feel like a money pit. And then to be told that you're not a great pet owner that's always the best feeling! Ever feel like you should schedule an appointment and wait an hour and still not be seen it's great! I've been going to this vet for over 10 years. The vets have always been nice, professional and took good care of my pets. I called yesterday for an appointment to see my sick dog. Was told nothing available that day but I could be worked in at 840 the next day. Arrived promptly for the appointment checked in  and at 9am asked when we would be seen. Then told that I was a "work in" and therefore would be seen after scheduled appointments. I asked how soon we would be seen and was told she would check. At 910 she said they were busy and I be seen only after scheduled appointments  and if the next 920 appointment arrived they would be seen first.  I left. I rescheduled for the next day but I'm not sure I want to go  back.  They need a better syatem. Read Less

Throughout the years, Dr.Waldo and Staff have ALWAYS been amazing with our 2 dogs. We recently had to make the hard decision to put our 13 year old Cocker Spaniel down. Dr. Stitzer took the time to comfort us and reassure us that we were making the right decision for our baby, Lucky. Dr.Stitzer and his staff were so were so kind and compassionate to us during this most difficult time. I couldn't have asked for a better place to care for my handsome boy while he was alive. I've been coming to Power Ranch Animal Hospital since they first opened. I love Dr Waldo but will no longer put up with the crazy office staff! I called to schedule an appointment because I received a post card saying my dog's shots were due. I started the conversation by telling the scheduler my dog's name and my name. She told me she couldn't find me in the system she then asked me if I was spelling my name wrong! I'm not kidding you! I really wanted to hang up on her but I spelled my name again and stayed calm. She miraculously found me in the system and scheduled my appointment. I showed up today for the scheduled appointment and guess what: my dog's shots are not due until August! What the heck is going on over there Power Ranch Animal Hospital? Have you let your business totally go to the dogs?!? Read Less

They were very professional and their prices were extremely reasonable compared to other vets in the area. These people that gave poor reviews don't know what they're talking about. Don't listen to them! My family members and I have been taking our animals to them for years. And they have never tried to suck us dry. They have always done what's best for us and our pet. They made the decision to put my beloved American bulldog "Bogie" down tonight very painless. I have been taking my dogs to Power Ranch Animal Hospital for almost 6 years. They have done nothing but wasted my money and had me spend thousands of dollars on unnecessary blood works, ex rays and skin scrapes, only to concluded that they don't have an answer to what's happening to my dogs. They have over dosed on medication quite a few times and are strong believers in pain killers rather than solutions to problems. After the last visit and multiple ex rays later, I was left without answers again only to find the answer online within few minutes of googling. Once I called the office to speak to the vet, the technician was told that he doesn't feel comfortable with the issue at hand and that I should consult a specialist. The least he could have done is answer the phone and told me that himself after all the visits and money invested, but instead he opted to act like a coward and tell the nurse to tell me that. This has been a real big disappointment due to the fact that we rely on these "professionals" to save our children. Please consider looking for the answers online before thinking of spending money on aimless guesses at this clinic, you will have better chances getting the answers you seek from the Internet than these people who call themselves VETS. My tiny Chihuahua was treated there and the Doctor was warm and efficient. He took care of the Dental problems plus took it upon himself to find out why she had trouble opening her mouth. I was not charged for what his curiosity discovered. When I picked her up. She was in a blanket and in the arms of one of the Staff. She was not scared or nervous, a miracle. BEST VET IN ARIZONAI love Dr. Stitzer & Dr Vergason! They are compassionate, knowledgeable & great partners to ensure my pets stay healthy. . They don't run up bills and instead are honest about a patients' prognosis so you don't spend unnecessary money just to extend your pets' suffering..I drive across the entire Valley, 1.5 hrs, just to take my dogs there. I breed Alaskan Malamutes and they have treated over a dozen of my dogs, delivered 2 litters via Csection, helped me with bottle feeding, breed related DNA & genetic issues. They take the time to do research if you present them with a novel issue. I also love them as they are intimidated by large breed dogs and instead are loving, affectionate, and interactive-- making the dogs & owners feel comfortable. Recently they saved the life of my young male who went into anaphylactic shock. I am eternally grateful to them!The office manager, Andrea, is fantastic too as she's always available to take phone calls and coordinates the genetic & health clearances for my dogs. Their exam rooms are comfortable, clean & well sanitized; the waiting room is comfortable, spacious & nicely decorated too.No better vet clinic in ARIZONA than their two clinics: Ironwood animal Hospital and Power Ranch Animal Hospital! You can tell that the staff and vets really enjoy what they are doing. Not only do we approve of the office our dogs approve also. I would have to say that I am not going back to power ranch animal hospital again. Dr. Crabtree was very good with my dog, But it was the tech that drove me away. I believe her name is Dana, she had long dark brown hair and claimed she was the manager. She was so rude to me and made me feel like I was an idiot. When I go to a vet clinic I usually will get informed on what I need done with my baby. She laughed in my face when I asked her about heartworm, I had to talk to the doctor about it. To add on top of everything else the room they took me to was dirty, there was blood on the wall and dog hair all over the bench that I wouldn't sit on. I was disappointed about this place. I agree this is the best office I could have chosen to take my 3 kids to. I have lost two of them since going to Dr. Stitzer and Crabtree and they, along with the staff, were very compassionate and caring, even sending me flowers after the 2nd one passed away unexpectedly only after 1 month from the first one. This is the best animal care I have ever been to. I have 5 dogs and 2 cats and they have all been treated very well there, It's way to bad that Human Doctors aren't the same way...
