I've been to several vets and this one has been extremely helpful! My dogs got parvo and took one of my pups to another vet and these guys were able to get my other pup in on a short notice and was half the price as i spent on my other pup. Always have to wait 20-30 minutes after your appointment to be seen. Lost pets vaccination records from previous vet 3 times. Had to order again today! Never emailed vaccination records when needed or when they said they will. Can't seem to get email correct after having to update 4 times. Updated phone number 2 times and they still had the old number listed as primary. Always charging for wellness visits when getting getting routine vaccines. Just had to check up 2 months ago and they made us do it again today. Was told when making appointment check up was not needed. Gave different story when I got there. Just another way to bring revenue to the clinic. The staff is awful, not friendly, lazy, doesn't care about you and the clinic has awful hygiene. Do not bring your pets here as you will regret it! I called because I wanted to know if I could give my chihuahua tylenol because her abscess burst and she doesn't look well. She is already on antibiotics, but looks worse than yesterday. They advised that they can't tell me since she isn't a patient. I asked if I could bring her in as this is an emergency and they tell me they don't have any availability until next week.. I advised that at the rate my pup is doing she might not make it until then. We love Dr. Cohen and all the front desk staff. My dog, Bruiser, had some head trauma as a puppy that Dr. Cohen checked multiple times for us and even had us come in (at no charge) just to check on how he was doing. He and his office staff have called me quite a few times just to check in on Bruiser. We took him in on a Monday to get neutered, and after Dr. C looked at his blood work and realized he had low protein and he was anemic, he decided it was best not to do the surgery until he looked into his blood work more. He called me personally and explained everything to me in great detail. I appreciated that so much. They are very personable and sure do seem to love Bruiser :) I would highly recommend this office to anyone looking for a great vet, it is also a bit cheaper then most vets around and they provide high quality care. They are not very informative. I was told my dog was up to date on all shots and only found out after a year that he was missing his last one. I went to this vet clinic with my mom who was really worried about her cat. Our cat is a very anxious and gets scared easy. First, we liked that they have a "cat" side which is awesome. The receptionist was very nice and put us in a room right away. The tech came right in with a smile on her face and greeted us. I dont remember her name but I think is chell?? She was so good with our cat the other clinic we went to my cat had to be sedated for exam. Our cat was so calm with her, it was night and day. Then the doctor came in and did the exam, even with him our cat was good. Im so happy this clinic is here they were so great with our cat. A++++ I recommend especially if you have cats that are scared and you get chell and dr. cohen. they are the best!!! Read Less

I have tried about 4 different veterinarian places & though they were nice and friendly..I had the same issue..given a long list of procedures to do.and felt a cpl.places treated me like I was a bad pet owner.because I didn't get everything done they had suggested. Have always noticed the Queen Creek Veterinarian right around corner from me,and decided to try them. Never took her there before because they had gotten mixed reviews. I took our dog, Lily in about 8 months ago w/an ear infection & really liked them!!! Girls are great & I didn't feel I was being overcharged and they cleaned her ears for free ;) The veterinarian (forget his name!) was great..I will be using them from now on! Read Less

In my experience, this clinic has more reasonable rates than others in this area, and the staff are always very friendly, helpful, and just recently we discovered, very compassionate. We recently had to take our sweet dog Buddy in due to an unknown illness. The tests results showed advanced lymphoma, and we were devastated. Due to his deteriorating condition, we had to take Buddy in to be put to sleep. Although we knew it was the right decision, it was still extremely emotional and heart wrenching for us. There was no cold, hard table waiting for him, but instead a large, comfy, thick doggie bed on the ground for him to lay on. We were given alot of time with him in the room to say goodbye, and I was able to lay with him and comfort him on the bed until he took his last breath, and his sweet, little body was at peace. We definitely took note of the patience, kindness, and compassion shown to us by the staff and Dr Dicken's in this very difficult time, and it meant so very much.Read Less

Queen Creek Veterinary is my go to vet in the Queen Creek area and I wouldnt go to any other doctor. We have been taking animals to Dr. Cohen since 2009 and since then he has saved my 2 dogs on multiple occasions and has treated my cats as well as saved one. My pitbull mixed Cherry was having a very serious infection and Dr. Cohen kept us in the loop about what was going on doing xrays and labwork visually showing my family what was happening with her, making us aware of what needed to be done so she didnt have to be put down. He performed surgery on her and she was left with a very "beautiful" scar according to my sister a vet in Colombia. She is now healthy and is back to her normal rowdy self. This year my little dog Tyson suffered from an allergic reaction and thanks to Dr. Cohens fast response he saved my little one from dying. Dr. Cohen always takes the time to explain what is going on with your pet with xrays and labwork so you have a clearer picture of whats happening. Just this month Tyson got sick again and Dr. Cohen once again came to the rescue doing xrays and comparing and contrasting his progression on some problems my dog has and showing us that he now needed extra attention and catering to due to his old age. This is something that makes my family and I feel super trusting of Dr. Cohen because he not only relies on his expertise he also relies on labwork. In every instance that any of my pets have been sick Dr. Cohen personally is the one to call back and explain the labwork results and what the proper care of the pet should be or anything else that needs to be done. That is such a personal touch one that I appreciate as Dr. Cohen is the one that treats my pets so I wouldnt want to hear from anyone else. He is an honest Dr and runs a very good veterinary with a good caring staff if I could rate him 100 stars I would. There is no one else I would trust with my furry friends. I will continue to take my 10 cats and 2 dogs to Dr. Cohen and I trust they are in good hands. Went on an emergency basis today for my English Mastiff Jasper. The staff, especially the vet tech Angie was so wonderful and carrying. She not only made sure Jasper was OK, as well as me and my daughter who were definitely struggling also. They got us in so quickly with an appointment that that accommodates our ours and Japsers needs. The doctor (sorry i forgot her name, was and still worried about Jasper) aslo was wonderful. I moved to this part of town about a year ago and hadn't found a new Vet for my Yorkie-Poo, Zoey, until today. We had a minor emergency with Zoey today so I called MANY local Veterinary offices in the area, asking if they had last minute openings- all said no and some even laughed as if I were crazy to even ask. Then, I got Queen Creek Veterinary Clinic on the phone. Megan answered, showed compassion and displayed utmost professionalism and got us in same day (20 mins to be exact)!! I was in complete shock! So we get checked in, Jamie (who was super sweet and kind) assisted with checking Zoey out before Dr. Cohen addressed the issue. He was not only professional & knowledgable but he seemed genuine too! It didn't feel like we were just another patient... He took the time to address underlying issues and educated me on preventative care that I had no idea about! Like I said, he was genuine and kind so for that our family is forever grateful to have found this office last minute and call Dr. Cohen our new Vet. I took two of my 5 cats here to get spayed. The price was not the cheapest around, however, I soon learned why. My babies received excellent care while there and the follow up was great. Within 24 hours they are calling to check on how they were healing. One of my other cats had some strange behavior towards them and they offered opinions and advice on what it could be and how to handle it. Recently took our 10 year old white Maltese dog here for help with a horrible cough. The veterinarian insulted the dog's name because it was not "masculine" and then further berated my 16yo daughter for her choice of a collar and leash, also "not masculine" enough. (my daughter named him when she was 6-years-old) When the vet finally got to treating the dog, obviously in distress from the coughing, she gave a "presumed diagnosis" and prescribed medication without even preliminary blood test or an x-ray. Also have additional medication "just for good measure" even though there was no basis for that prescription. Took him to another vet. Requested that the records be sent over ... and they REFUSED! This clinic has horrible human-customer care and had shown Absolute Disregard for the welfare of my fur-baby. We will not be back with any of our pets.Read Less

We received a coupon in the mail for a free nail trim. I brought my two dogs in for a much needed trim. We used to take them to Banfield, but I have been exploring other more affordable vet options. So, we decided to give Queen Creek Vet Clinic a try because of their convenient location. One of my dogs HATES the vet, she has been this way since she was a puppy. She is used to getting lots of treats and TLC at Banfield visits. I was struggling even to get her in the door at Queen Creek, as 3 staff members were watching my epic struggle without offering assistance with her, offering treats or even just a friendly welcome. The vet tech was nice, but the front staff people looked at me like I had just brought them the worst dog in the world. Wouldn't you think they would understand that she was nervous coming to a new vet? Best of all, I heard the vet tech tell the front desk people that it took 3 hands to hold down my dog to cut her nails. No compassion at all. Dr. Cohen has helped us out in the most difficult time when our 14 yr Diva needed to be put to sleep. The decision was hard on my wife but they understood and was very caring in the process. We have since adopted a puppy and he is so gentle and helpful with him. They let us know when he needs shots and the office help has been very gracious and helpful also.
