This is the place to go in Scottsdale for a reasonably priced, direct, and compassionate vet.Our dog is a rescue. When we first got her, we took her to see another clinic on a recommendation -- we were disappointed, hit with ridiculous bills for basic exams and tests (First visit: ~$500, Second visit: ~$300), and the quality of service was just not there. We then decided to switch to Four Peaks on another recommendation. I am so grateful for Dr. Pruitt. Our dog has valley fever, and we've visited twice -- so far, we've had no issues and only the best things to say about Four Peaks. The pricing is far more reasonable than what we've seen so far. We pay just a little over half of what we were billed at the first clinic for the same services (cocci exam and other tests) -- with a better attitude from Dr. Pruitt.Dr. Pruitt and his wife are wonderful. This is a small business, with a homely office, but you can tell that they care deeply about animals. And looking at their information online, they even run their own rescue! If my money's going to a vet, I'm happy for it to go to a vet that gives back to other animals. They give you a very personal experience -- I was with my dog at all times, and Dr. Pruitt answered all of my questions. He took his time with us. Our visit ended up being upward of 45 minutes, just filled with conversation about our dog and her health. What pleased me was that when booking our most recent appointment, Sheila asked us to bring a urine sample. A lot of other vets charge you a "specimen collection" fee, so I was glad that she had us do this instead of billing us an additional $30, $40, $50, for doing that themselves.Dr. Pruitt took the time and showed us how to brush our dog's teeth -- we've always had issues with it before, since our dog gets very jumpy about it. At our last vet, we were told, "You need to brush her teeth," and that was it. He even explains different medication options and reasons behind why he recommends certain types and how they may affect our dog, negatively or positively. Not all vets do this -- they SHOULD, but they don't always. While we were there, the computer decided to shut down, so we couldn't get our itemized bill. I thought I would have to call back later to ask for it, but we received it in the mail less than a week later! We've also had no issues with getting information from them to file our pet insurance claims.I would highly recommend Four Peaks Animal Clinic. So far, only great experiences. Read Less
