My dog was injured and they saw us right away and got him stitched up. Everyone was over-the-top helpful. They even have crayons and toys for kids to play with, and a soda machine in the lobby. I have been impressed with everyone at Horizon Animal Hospital. The facility is the best I've seen for a veterinary clinic, the front office staff are welcoming and helpful. One of my cats has recently been diagnosed with diabetes and the vet was so kind. He even printed up materials on insulin and diabetes in cats for me to read. I have been taking my two dogs to Horizon Animal Hospital for over ten years. The staff are always so welcoming and the spacious front room gives plenty of space for nervous or perhaps more aggressive pets to stay calm and not feel cornered. The doctors always spend a moment soothing your pet with gentle stokes and kind words before even addressing whatever issue they may be having. I have been taking my pets to Dr Beth for nearly 30 yrs! I took my first dog to her and was very happy to find her again when I moved back to Arizona. Dr Beth is very knowledgeable and takes great care with all health problems that my pets have had- from nearly losing "my Bean" from Giardia related issues causing anorexia to dentals,growth removals and the trials of having a pet with diabetes-she always know what to do. I love her assistant ,Andrea, who always remembers my dogs idiosyncrasies. And my day is always brighter when I talk to or see Sonya at the front desk! I've been taking my kitties to Horizon for years now. Love the waiting room - makes for a much less stressed kitty. The vet and workers are great. If I've needed assistance with the heavy carry case, they meet me at the car. I particularly have appreciated that I have been able to use naturally products that I've secured also. When I found I was going to have to spend a fortune on kd cat food I was most concerned. The first year there were coupons and free shipping on these products on-line - not so anymore. One thing you'll find on the internet is a lot of noise about vets charging greatly inflated prices. Will I'm telling you that Horizon has COMPETITIVE prices (and your not paying postage). Dr. Glover is such a wonderful person and such a compassionate Vet. She was amazing with our babies Benny & Sadie, who passed away in July 2016 (Benny) and November 2016 (Sadie) at almost 14 years old each. My Maltese was not eating and throwing up all over the place. I took him to Dr. Beth Hareski. She did some blood work and discovered that he had an infection. We tried a medication and he had an reaction to the med. So Dr. Beth put him into the hospital for 3 days. Infection is gone dog is doing great. Dr. Beth and staff were very professional and took the time to answer all my questions. They are my go to veterinarian for any medical issues I have with my dogs. Great experience. Read Less

Such a caring place of compassion. Nothing is more difficult than to euthanize a beloved pet. Absolutely the best! I did a lot of research in order to find a Vet for my Yorkie. Horizon Animal Hospital was always at the top of the list. Then I checked their website and loved what I saw. Being the former wife of a Vet; might have given me a little insight into Veterinarian world. I immediately made an appointment for my 2lb Yorkie. It was his first Vet check (outside of the breeder's responsibility) and I was looking more at personalities than qualifications. Horizon had both! Dr. Glover was AMAZING! She handled my little Yorkie and put up with all of my new-puppy-owner questions! I took my dog back again for another set of vaccines and again Dr. Glover was great! My Yorkie had another vaccine and he was in heaven with all of the attention from the staff! Staff members were all extremely friendly to me and my Yorkie. The first time my Maine Coon, Flash, got ill and I was in a panic. I searched for a place nearest my house and I am forever grateful to have found Horizon Animal Hospital. I called in a panic and they instantly put me at ease and found an appointment for me. Upon arrival, you can tell the office staff LOVES animals and understands their nervous owners. The friendliness and warmth were sooo appreciated. We saw the techs and the vet and thankfully Flash will be just fine. I can't say enough about the care they offered for both Flash and me! Dr Beth and staff are amazing. I just had to put my dog to sleep and the staff was so caring. Joan - who is in charge of client relations - is amazing. Whenever I stopped in to pick up prescriptions she always knew who I was and my dog. I also got a lovely card with condolences from the entire staff with personalized messages. Dr Beth made a donation to the Phoenix Zoo pet memorial fund in honor of my dog. What a great facility. I have another dog and wouldn't trust his care with anyone else.
