Raintree Pet Resort + Medical Center has a full time veterinarian, Benjamin Savard, DVM. He received his doctorate from Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine and has a special interest in exotic pets. The medical center will focus on comprehensive pet care with personalized attention from Dr. Savard. Raintree Pet Medical Center offers dentistry, general and soft tissue surgery, total life care, in house pharmacy, laser light therapy and new state of the art equipment and facilities. We have gone to Raintree for doggie daycare for about 9 months. Our puppy has a TON of energy, and she gets so excited when she walks in the door because she knows it’s playtime! They offer “pupcakes” for a small fee, which is a great little snack for her to have while she’s burning off all of her energy!! The entire front desk staff is so nice and always warm and welcoming when they see Maya. I recommend them to anyone looking for daycare. Our pup comes home tired and happy every time!

I've never seen a better veterinarian's office than this place. The staff is very caring compassionate and knowledgeable. It kind of feels like a relaxing Resort when you go in there. Don't forget to ask about their first time patient discount where the first visit is a dollar, this includes a full vet check up. My original veterinarian office is less than a mile away from where I live but I don't mind the six mile drive to come here.

I called Raintree and from the first phone call through checkout I was totally impressed. Their friendly service is something that is rarely experienced and EVERY MEMBER OF THEIR TEAM was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Karen (I think that was her name) the Assistant was full of puppy love for Luna and very full of info. for us.
Dr Savard took all the time we needed to answer our overwhelming number of questions and never seemed impatient or in a hurry to move on to another patient.
If we lived here in Scottsdale Raintree would be the place we’d go!! Thank you!!

The place is clean. I have visited several locations since moving to Chandler, AZ 2 years ago and even though it takes me 30 minutes to get to Raintree Pet Resort, it is the only place that I have found comfort in leaving them. The staff is amazing and remembers the pups, the facility is clean and does not smell (which of the more than 20 places I have visited, is only one 1 of 2 that did not smell), the pups (or dogs as my family insists I call them since they are now 5 yrs. old) love it!

I love Raintree Pet Resort and Vet Clinic! You can tell how much everyone who works there truly loves animals. My experience with the vet clinic and my new puppy was just as awesome. Karen is amazing and showed my nervous pup so much love when he was in for vet visits and boarding. During his stay she made sure to check on him regularly. When I came to pick him up he was with Auntie Karen getting lots of love and didn't even recognize his momma. :) When I went to tour the facility I was so impressed with how clean the kennels were and the nice splash pad and pool area for daycare. Their follow up phone calls are always a nice touch after a vet visit to be sure my pup is doing well following vaccines or if i had any additional questions. I also don't feel like they try to force extra services or tests on you like some vets have in the past. I'm so happy to have found this place.

We left our 2 parakeets there for 45 days while we were on vacation. Our birds got the best care - and my husband and I got the best care as well due to the terrific staff. We got e-mail updates and they were kind enough to text photos so that eased our anxiety about leaving them for so long. The facility is beautiful and clean but the staff is amazing - they all really like animals, birds and critters. That is the only place we will ever take our pets.

Raintree Pet Medical Center is by far the best place I have ever taken one of my animals. My thirteen year old cat, Shadow, was diagnosed with early Kidney failure, which started to take him faster than we originally thought it would. Dr. Benjamin Savard was absolutely amazing from the moment we brought our cat Shadow in to the moment we had to put him to sleep. He even personally talked to me on the phone every time I had a question or concern about my little guy. The staff here at Raintree really loves and values the pets they look after. I am very thankful for the love they gave Shadow within his last hours. They comforted me and definitely made the grieving process a whole lot easier. Thank you to the wonderful staff and Doctor.

I have been bringing my dogs to the Resort for years and have only positive things to say. The entire staff is top notch. They are beyond accommodating and truly love the animals that are entrusted to them. I do want to say, though - that as amazing as everyone at Raintree has always been, I came to fully understand the true character of each of them during a very difficult time recently when, very unexpectedly, I had to put my beloved cat down. From the initial phone call letting them know I was coming in to the last minutes with Sambo - I felt as though they were part of my family and I was the only person in the building. The care and attention that they gave was remarkable and Dr. Savard is truly one of a kind. He was patient and understanding and thorough and compassionate. I was not just another customer in those moments. I left feeling the comfort of true caring individuals and was blown away when a week or so later I received a sympathy card that was personally signed by each employee. You will not get the type of service provided anywhere else. The bar has been set by Raintree.

Facility is very nice and clean. Still can't believe they offered us coffee or bottled water. The service from the front desk ladies to the vet tech to Dr. Savard was top notch. Helpful, informative, patient when Otis has a hard time letting them trim his nails and just wonderful. The Dr. was not rushing off to another appointment, he gave us helpful information and answered all of questions. Expense wise - I spent way less than I thought I would for a Scottsdale vet appt.- i love this place.

I am suing, I want all my vet bills covered and I would suggest to anyone else whos dog got this virus"lepto" to do the same. This was the most neglegent case I have ever seen. And there is a vet at the facility who is very familiar with the seriousness of this disease. Bad place. My dog has been quarantined for 30 days and has another 30 to go. Oh did I mention it is deadly if not treated?????

For those who are considering using this facility, keep looking. I boarded my dog Bentley here for a week while I was on vacation. We used to take him to PetSmart for doggie day care and boarding, but I thought there must be a better option now that the winter has set in and the dogs can be outside more (PetSmart is all inside, perfect for the hot summer, less so for the winter). I spent alot of time researching places, and settled upon Raintree Pet Resort. I went twice in person beforehand to see the facility and meet the staff. First impressions were good, I was pleased and felt comfortable even though the prices were higher than I initially expected.My first impressions were wrong and I deeply regret boarding my dog here. When it was time to pick him up, my mother went in to get him. They told her that some dog disease (Leptospirosis) had been going around and to get our dog checked at the vet. They also claimed to have emailed me (which they did not, and yes I checked my spam) informing me of this disease. Needless to say I was very alarmed and immediately called my vet. They directly contacted Raintree to see what was going on. Turns out some dogs from out of state came in and may have infected the place with this Leptospirosis disease. This happened in September - I boarded my dog in late October, early November. NOT ONCE during my 3 times in this facility did anyone tell me I might be putting my dog in danger boarding him here. They knew about the issue before my dog came in for the first time. They should have told me about the risk of disease at their facility. They did not disclose this critical information and now my dog may be at risk!I am shocked that this place is still in business, and in horror that people still take their beloved animals here. My vet recommended The Pet Hotel which is where I will be taking Bentley from now on. I highly suggest anyone reading this review reconsider risking their pets health at Raintree Pet Resort and find somewhere more suitable.

Our corgi has always had a positive experience here. This place seems to be clean and safe, and the staff at the front counter is friendly and excited to see our dog. Prices are reasonable, for the most part. We typically buy a play session for each day as well. Luckily we've never had to utilize the vet services, aside from a nail trim. Our dog is very important to us, and we try not to board him if we don't have to. But when we do, we feel comfortable leaving him here.

Raintree staff were nice and welcoming at first however, my overall experience is poor. My dog is a Doodle and submissive in nature so I had called mid-day to check up on her and was told she was doing fine. When I picked her up from doggie day care, I was told she was put in a room with a dog with a cone on his head for most of the morning. Then, I was told she didn't like the $10+ special treat they gave her but was still charged for it. To top it all off, it was her 2nd birthday. :( Disappointing, expensive, and we won't be back.

The veterinarian at this facility was the most unprofessional and rude of any vet I've ever come across. I've been raising dogs and cats for 40 years now and it's no wonder his license was suspended fora period of time for his unethical business practice . I also found that his prices are also way above what they should be and he puts on a hard sell to get you to spend more money needlessly. I have a puppy who I had just given a bath and combed her hair because I was taking her out . She looked beautiful and very well groomed as this is how I always care for my pets because I love them and I am proud of them ... but to make matters even worse than they already were, as I was walking out of his office he turns to me and says with an attitude , '' She needs a bath and to be combed ! '' Adding insult to injury. I would highly recommend that you never take your precious pets here to see this so called veterinarian, unless of course you want to be hard sold on uneccesary procedures, charged an exorbitant amount for simple little procedures like yearly shots, and to be insulted on top of everything else. Buyer beware ! Do not go see this vet, what a horrible experience that was. So, instead I took my next dog to the vet at Pet's Mart and was treated with respect and dignity, was not hard sold on any unnecessary procedure and their prices were very reasonable. So, please, my friends, choose Pets Mart or someone else over this quack of a doctor of animal medicine. He's only after the almighty dollar and could care less about how you feel !!! Thank you for listening ! Please read Mia's review and Adam T's and Dana H's review to see exactly what I'm taking about ! May the dog or cat angels guard your pets if you still choose to see Dr ... oh, I'm so unimpressed I can barely remember his unmemorable name ! Oh, yeah, Savard. I brought my Golden (Sadie) in for euthanization. We are very new to this area of town and needed a caring Vet. We called and right from the start the staff showed true empathy for our great loss. They made room right away in their schedule and asked if I was doing OK. Upon arriving at the medical center we first noticed how clean everything looked and helped us right away. They showed us to the exam room and took out a comfortable blanket for Sadie. They could tell my son and I were pretty much a mess and offered us some water while we waited. Two of the caring staff came in and prepared Sadie with an IV AND had a warm hot dog for her to eat. She loved it! That little touch of thoughtfulness really meant a great deal to me. They then took an impression of her paw and gave it to me in a beautiful little box. I was moved by their care for my dog and for my son and me. Shortly after the doctor came in. He was very caring and sensitive to our grief. He explained what was going to happen and waited until we were ready. Sadie very quickly went to sleep for the very last time. What a blessing Raintree Pet's staff was to two grown men crying and saying goodbye to a beloved member of our family. We had never been to Raintree before but they treated us like long-time customers and friends. I highly recommend Raintree for all your pets needs.

I visited here initially for a medical visit for my lab. Making the appointment was easy and they were able to take me immediately. The staff is very welcoming and the facility is clean and new. They made my dog feel comfortable and eased my worries. Dr. Benjamin Savard clearly explained the testing that was needed. He walked me through the process; best and worst case scenarios, and treatment options with me. He was able to answer all my questions and even demonstrated how to administer her medication. Since it was such a great place, I now will be having her stay at their pet resort while I am out of town, instead of my previous plans. When leaving they also gave me an informational package, which included price sheet, brochure, Frisbee, bumper sticker, business cards, and foldable water bowl! Cute idea. Great place and staff! Would recommend to anyone with pets.

The best pet resort and medical center I've ever been to! Gorgeous facility and immaculate -I love Dr. Sevard and his caring staff- they are wonderful to my little chihuahua Penny Lane - she has been boarded there several times for as long as 3 weeks sometimes and I never worry - much like a spa and comforting atmosphere for your pet! I trust the medical care there as well implicitly as Penny has had several dental surgeries and has been well taken care of .. They go the extra mile and send emails while I'm away as phone calls to check once a procedure has been done .. All my praises . A+++. Thank you !!!

As soon as I'm ready to leave for work in the morning, they run to the door in excitement. And they are always sad on the days the have to stay home instead of going to Raintree. The staff is amazing and take great care of all the dogs that attend day care.

Dr. Savard is a wonder with Simone, providing excellent veterinary care while still being gentle and caring. He also takes the time to explain, in detail, any necessary course of treatment if Simone happens to be feeling under the weather. The rest of the staff at Raintree treat Simone as one of their own, providing a safe environment for Simone, and her friends, to play in while being knowledgeable, caring, and attentive not only to Simone but to all the animals in their care.

Just got back from a visit with Dr. Savard. He is awesome. The nicest vet we've ever had. He shows genuine interest and concern for any issues you bring to his attention. We've boarded our pets for over nights several times at Raintree before they added the medical center and I'm even more impressed with the facility now. Walking in today I was shocked by how nice the new remodel is. The staff is always very friendly. So happy to have Dr. Savard and the rest of the staff so close by.

We have gone to Raintree for doggie daycare for about 9 months. Our puppy has a TON of energy, and she gets so excited when she walks in the door because she knows it’s playtime! They offer “pupcakes” for a small fee, which is a great little snack for her to have while she’s burning off all of her energy!! The entire front desk staff is so nice and always warm and welcoming when they see Maya. I recommend them to anyone looking for daycare. Our pup comes home tired and happy every time!

I've never seen a better veterinarian's office than this place. The staff is very caring compassionate and knowledgeable. It kind of feels like a relaxing Resort when you go in there. Don't forget to ask about their first time patient discount where the first visit is a dollar, this includes a full vet check up. My original veterinarian office is less than a mile away from where I live but I don't mind the six mile drive to come here.

I called Raintree and from the first phone call through checkout I was totally impressed. Their friendly service is something that is rarely experienced and EVERY MEMBER OF THEIR TEAM was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Karen (I think that was her name) the Assistant was full of puppy love for Luna and very full of info. for us.
Dr Savard took all the time we needed to answer our overwhelming number of questions and never seemed impatient or in a hurry to move on to another patient.
If we lived here in Scottsdale Raintree would be the place we’d go!! Thank you!!

The place is clean. I have visited several locations since moving to Chandler, AZ 2 years ago and even though it takes me 30 minutes to get to Raintree Pet Resort, it is the only place that I have found comfort in leaving them. The staff is amazing and remembers the pups, the facility is clean and does not smell (which of the more than 20 places I have visited, is only one 1 of 2 that did not smell), the pups (or dogs as my family insists I call them since they are now 5 yrs. old) love it!

I love Raintree Pet Resort and Vet Clinic! You can tell how much everyone who works there truly loves animals. My experience with the vet clinic and my new puppy was just as awesome. Karen is amazing and showed my nervous pup so much love when he was in for vet visits and boarding. During his stay she made sure to check on him regularly. When I came to pick him up he was with Auntie Karen getting lots of love and didn't even recognize his momma. :) When I went to tour the facility I was so impressed with how clean the kennels were and the nice splash pad and pool area for daycare. Their follow up phone calls are always a nice touch after a vet visit to be sure my pup is doing well following vaccines or if i had any additional questions. I also don't feel like they try to force extra services or tests on you like some vets have in the past. I'm so happy to have found this place.

We left our 2 parakeets there for 45 days while we were on vacation. Our birds got the best care - and my husband and I got the best care as well due to the terrific staff. We got e-mail updates and they were kind enough to text photos so that eased our anxiety about leaving them for so long. The facility is beautiful and clean but the staff is amazing - they all really like animals, birds and critters. That is the only place we will ever take our pets.

Raintree Pet Medical Center is by far the best place I have ever taken one of my animals. My thirteen year old cat, Shadow, was diagnosed with early Kidney failure, which started to take him faster than we originally thought it would. Dr. Benjamin Savard was absolutely amazing from the moment we brought our cat Shadow in to the moment we had to put him to sleep. He even personally talked to me on the phone every time I had a question or concern about my little guy. The staff here at Raintree really loves and values the pets they look after. I am very thankful for the love they gave Shadow within his last hours. They comforted me and definitely made the grieving process a whole lot easier. Thank you to the wonderful staff and Doctor.

I have been bringing my dogs to the Resort for years and have only positive things to say. The entire staff is top notch. They are beyond accommodating and truly love the animals that are entrusted to them. I do want to say, though - that as amazing as everyone at Raintree has always been, I came to fully understand the true character of each of them during a very difficult time recently when, very unexpectedly, I had to put my beloved cat down. From the initial phone call letting them know I was coming in to the last minutes with Sambo - I felt as though they were part of my family and I was the only person in the building. The care and attention that they gave was remarkable and Dr. Savard is truly one of a kind. He was patient and understanding and thorough and compassionate. I was not just another customer in those moments. I left feeling the comfort of true caring individuals and was blown away when a week or so later I received a sympathy card that was personally signed by each employee. You will not get the type of service provided anywhere else. The bar has been set by Raintree.

Dr. Savard is knowledgeable, non judgmental, and has been ahead of the curve with new outbreaks. My dogs love it here and we've never hesitated or worried about leaving them. Highly recommend!

Facility is very nice and clean. Still can't believe they offered us coffee or bottled water. The service from the front desk ladies to the vet tech to Dr. Savard was top notch. Helpful, informative, patient when Otis has a hard time letting them trim his nails and just wonderful. The Dr. was not rushing off to another appointment, he gave us helpful information and answered all of questions. Expense wise - I spent way less than I thought I would for a Scottsdale vet appt.- i love this place.

My puppy Sasha has been going there for some time now. Due to the quick action and the time they took to educate me about leptospirosis, my puppy did not contract the virus and has completed her needed shots to protect her in the future. A big thank you to the entire staff there for all the love and care you give to my fur baby. I would recommend you to anyone!

My dog conracted a serious virus there and I was not informed for over 30 days. As I talk with medical professionals, they tell me there was an outbreak from this place that could have been avoided if they had only told people when the first dog was diagnosed. I am suing, I want all my vet bills covered and I would suggest to anyone else whos dog got this virus"lepto" to do the same. This was the most neglegent case I have ever seen. And there is a vet at the facility who is very familiar with the seriousness of this disease. Bad place. My dog has been quarantined for 30 days and has another 30 to go. Oh did I mention it is deadly if not treated?????

For those who are considering using this facility, keep looking. I boarded my dog Bentley here for a week while I was on vacation. We used to take him to PetSmart for doggie day care and boarding, but I thought there must be a better option now that the winter has set in and the dogs can be outside more (PetSmart is all inside, perfect for the hot summer, less so for the winter). I spent alot of time researching places, and settled upon Raintree Pet Resort. I went twice in person beforehand to see the facility and meet the staff. First impressions were good, I was pleased and felt comfortable even though the prices were higher than I initially expected.My first impressions were wrong and I deeply regret boarding my dog here. When it was time to pick him up, my mother went in to get him. They told her that some dog disease (Leptospirosis) had been going around and to get our dog checked at the vet. They also claimed to have emailed me (which they did not, and yes I checked my spam) informing me of this disease. Needless to say I was very alarmed and immediately called my vet. They directly contacted Raintree to see what was going on. Turns out some dogs from out of state came in and may have infected the place with this Leptospirosis disease. This happened in September - I boarded my dog in late October, early November. NOT ONCE during my 3 times in this facility did anyone tell me I might be putting my dog in danger boarding him here. They knew about the issue before my dog came in for the first time. They should have told me about the risk of disease at their facility. They did not disclose this critical information and now my dog may be at risk!I am shocked that this place is still in business, and in horror that people still take their beloved animals here. My vet recommended The Pet Hotel which is where I will be taking Bentley from now on. I highly suggest anyone reading this review reconsider risking their pets health at Raintree Pet Resort and find somewhere more suitable.

Our corgi has always had a positive experience here. This place seems to be clean and safe, and the staff at the front counter is friendly and excited to see our dog. Prices are reasonable, for the most part. We typically buy a play session for each day as well. Luckily we've never had to utilize the vet services, aside from a nail trim. Our dog is very important to us, and we try not to board him if we don't have to. But when we do, we feel comfortable leaving him here.

Great staff. We were travelling through and they got the immunization updates from our vet in WA, gave her the shots she needed, gave her a temperament evaluation and she stayed and played. The best thing is the pool so she could play ball in the water.
They have special rates for first time guests. Wish we lived here but if we are here again this will be a destination pet resort.

Raintree staff were nice and welcoming at first however, my overall experience is poor. My dog is a Doodle and submissive in nature so I had called mid-day to check up on her and was told she was doing fine. When I picked her up from doggie day care, I was told she was put in a room with a dog with a cone on his head for most of the morning. Then, I was told she didn't like the $10+ special treat they gave her but was still charged for it. To top it all off, it was her 2nd birthday. :( Disappointing, expensive, and we won't be back.

Always a pleasant and easy experience at Raintree. Drop off and pick up is efficient. The staff is courteous. Our little Boston Terrier is well taken care of and always enjoys going to daycare.

The veterinarian at this facility was the most unprofessional and rude of any vet I've ever come across. I've been raising dogs and cats for 40 years now and it's no wonder his license was suspended fora period of time for his unethical business practice . I also found that his prices are also way above what they should be and he puts on a hard sell to get you to spend more money needlessly. I have a puppy who I had just given a bath and combed her hair because I was taking her out . She looked beautiful and very well groomed as this is how I always care for my pets because I love them and I am proud of them ... but to make matters even worse than they already were, as I was walking out of his office he turns to me and says with an attitude , '' She needs a bath and to be combed ! '' Adding insult to injury. I would highly recommend that you never take your precious pets here to see this so called veterinarian, unless of course you want to be hard sold on uneccesary procedures, charged an exorbitant amount for simple little procedures like yearly shots, and to be insulted on top of everything else. Buyer beware ! Do not go see this vet, what a horrible experience that was. So, instead I took my next dog to the vet at Pet's Mart and was treated with respect and dignity, was not hard sold on any unnecessary procedure and their prices were very reasonable. So, please, my friends, choose Pets Mart or someone else over this quack of a doctor of animal medicine. He's only after the almighty dollar and could care less about how you feel !!! Thank you for listening ! Please read Mia's review and Adam T's and Dana H's review to see exactly what I'm taking about ! May the dog or cat angels guard your pets if you still choose to see Dr ... oh, I'm so unimpressed I can barely remember his unmemorable name ! Oh, yeah, Savard. He keeps his practice up like this and someone is going to report him again .. and if they don't ? I will. I brought my Golden (Sadie) in for euthanization. We are very new to this area of town and needed a caring Vet. We called and right from the start the staff showed true empathy for our great loss. They made room right away in their schedule and asked if I was doing OK. Upon arriving at the medical center we first noticed how clean everything looked and helped us right away. They showed us to the exam room and took out a comfortable blanket for Sadie. They could tell my son and I were pretty much a mess and offered us some water while we waited. Two of the caring staff came in and prepared Sadie with an IV AND had a warm hot dog for her to eat. She loved it! That little touch of thoughtfulness really meant a great deal to me. They then took an impression of her paw and gave it to me in a beautiful little box. I was moved by their care for my dog and for my son and me. Shortly after the doctor came in. He was very caring and sensitive to our grief. He explained what was going to happen and waited until we were ready. Sadie very quickly went to sleep for the very last time. What a blessing Raintree Pet's staff was to two grown men crying and saying goodbye to a beloved member of our family. We had never been to Raintree before but they treated us like long-time customers and friends. I highly recommend Raintree for all your pets needs.

I visited here initially for a medical visit for my lab. Making the appointment was easy and they were able to take me immediately. The staff is very welcoming and the facility is clean and new. They made my dog feel comfortable and eased my worries. Dr. Benjamin Savard clearly explained the testing that was needed. He walked me through the process; best and worst case scenarios, and treatment options with me. He was able to answer all my questions and even demonstrated how to administer her medication. Since it was such a great place, I now will be having her stay at their pet resort while I am out of town, instead of my previous plans. When leaving they also gave me an informational package, which included price sheet, brochure, Frisbee, bumper sticker, business cards, and foldable water bowl! Cute idea. Great place and staff! Would recommend to anyone with pets.

We were given options and prices so we could plan out what we needed to get done to make Bandit better without spending a ton of money. The best pet resort and medical center I've ever been to! Gorgeous facility and immaculate -I love Dr. Sevard and his caring staff- they are wonderful to my little chihuahua Penny Lane - she has been boarded there several times for as long as 3 weeks sometimes and I never worry - much like a spa and comforting atmosphere for your pet! I trust the medical care there as well implicitly as Penny has had several dental surgeries and has been well taken care of .. They go the extra mile and send emails while I'm away as phone calls to check once a procedure has been done .. All my praises . A+++. Thank you !!!

The best pet resort and med center I have been to. My 2 dogs absolutely love spending days at the pet resort. As soon as I'm ready to leave for work in the morning, they run to the door in excitement. And they are always sad on the days the have to stay home instead of going to Raintree. The staff is amazing and take great care of all the dogs that attend day care.

Raintree is the only place I will take our dog, Simone, for play, boarding, and veterinary services. Dr. Savard is a wonder with Simone, providing excellent veterinary care while still being gentle and caring. He also takes the time to explain, in detail, any necessary course of treatment if Simone happens to be feeling under the weather. The rest of the staff at Raintree treat Simone as one of their own, providing a safe environment for Simone, and her friends, to play in while being knowledgeable, caring, and attentive not only to Simone but to all the animals in their care.

Just got back from a visit with Dr. Savard. He is awesome. The nicest vet we've ever had. He shows genuine interest and concern for any issues you bring to his attention. We've boarded our pets for over nights several times at Raintree before they added the medical center and I'm even more impressed with the facility now. Walking in today I was shocked by how nice the new remodel is. The staff is always very friendly. So happy to have Dr. Savard and the rest of the staff so close by.
