Very nice people but it’s always a wait. We come early (15 -20 mind early) and they take everyone else and make us wait 15-20 mins or more extra after our appointment. It’s just rude. This is not the first time its happen and this is the last time. Read Less

We just moved out to Scottsdale and our naughty cat ate a bikini string which became blocked in his intestines.  The staff at Saguaro Vet Clinic were able to bit us in for an appointment the same morning I called! While we were there I felt like my cat was in very good hands and the care he received was very reasonably priced.I think it is so important to not feel like your vet is pressuring you to do the most expensive/invasive option, and that's exactly what they did.  They worked all day to try to prevent my poor kitty from surgery and it worked! The following day after I took him home, they called to check up on him and were able to answer a few of my questions immediately! I've never known a vet to be more honest and caring as Saguaro Veterinary Clinic. I've been a dog lover and owner my whole life. Dr. Jameson Ketchmark especially has so much knowledge and will help my dogs with the best treatment, even with a natural approach. He helps me determine the best treatment for my dogs.  Every time I leave, I feel I have learned something new. All my dog's health issues are addressed and treated 100%. No veterinary clinic can replace Saguaro and gives me more reason to stay in Scottsdale. They are honest, affordable, caring and my dog's love them. They are in it for the animals and not the money. Brought our new kitty in to get checked out and get shots. Staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions. I was impressed how efficiently their office office is run. We were able to be seen by the Doctor, receive necessary bloodwork, vaccines given, questions answered, scheduled for next round of shots and make payment, all in just under an hour. Read Less

Everyone was very nice and we weren't keep waiting long. This was our first time going as we just adopted Karlie from the Fetch Foundation. My only negative feedback and not really that important, is the waiting area is tight especially if your dog isn't well socialized yet. Read Less

One of the few vets that still does ear cropping's, which is hard to find. I have had a Dogo and Doberman done by them and both crops are done very well. As far the other comments on hear about there Dobermans ears not staying up. I had the same problem with one of my Dobermans and it took over a few years for it to set properly set. It was more of the dog extra large size and growth that did not allow the cartilage to set up right away. If you're new to ear cropping ask them to do a shorter ear crop and have faith and be diligent with your ear tapping. Your dogs ears will eventually stay up! Read Less

I took my 10 week old puppy, Stevie, in for his first check up just one day after picking him up. He was mostly fine with just a yeast infection in his ears, but I was a wreck with anxiety as the reality of raising my first dog had just set in. Everyone from the receptionist to the doctor were kind, patient, and helpful. We've gone back a few more times and feel super comfortable with how we are treated.A few weeks ago, Stevie had a cherry eye pop up. We called, not knowing what it was, and they asked us to come right in with no appointment needed. After that experience, I believe they accept animals based on urgency and priority, and not strictly on appointment time. For me, that makes the 20-30 minute wait way more comfortable for me (as there is occasionally a wait before being seen.) ***I edited this review on 2/26/16 as the last two visits, we've been waiting 30-60 minutes after our appointment time. To clarify, we have requested the last appointment of the day, which probably plays a factor in the delay.*** I also love that none of the vets have felt pushy in the way that I care for my dog. They don't "strongly recommend" a specific brand of food nor the right age for neutering. I've seen some vets that make me feel like I'm raising my dog all wrong, and I don't get that vibe at Saguaro.If I'm ever concerned about my pup after an appointment, I can call and get the doctor on the phone within a few hours. I've also left a message on a weekend evening and received a call first thing the following morning. It's great!Definitely a fan of Saguaro Vet Clinic! Read Less

I have been a client for a few years however, my latest experience was horrific and has had a dramatic impact on our household. I picked my dog up from a simple dental cleaning and tooth extraction procedure and his eyesight was gone. The vet could not provide any explanation as to what could have happened and did not even offer to look into it further. He showed no sympathy when he finally called me (after I left two messages for a call back) and he did not even ask me to bring him in for further examination. How can a dental procedure result in such a terrible outcome. Only thing I do know at this point is my Dachshund could see when I brought him to Saguaro Veterinary Clinic in the morning and he was blind when I picked him up that evening. Read Less
