I really liked this vet and have had both my dogs seen by him.I considered him my vet...until yesterday. I had an emergency with my youngest dog, Bella she was treated by an amazing emergency vet hospital, but they did recommend a follow up visit the next day with our family vet. I call crossroads who advertise they open at 8am on Saturdays, however I was not able to get through the line for 45 minutes. Once I did get through, I started to share what had happened to Bella, etc when as soon as I said “they recommend I follow up today”- I was abruptly cut off and told ”not today”...I was so taken aback I asked her to repeat what she said hoping I was wrong. But she said It’s not going to happen today but what’s going on finish...my response...Not Today, Not ever! This woman had no clue what was happening with my animal and had the nerve to cut me off like that! There is a way to speak to people and that isn’t it. I get being busy I do, I found another vet that couldn’t see her but wanted to hear what was going on first to assess need and urgency. It’s a shame a good vet has such an awful person representing the business. Wish I got her name but ultimatly it doesn’t really matter! Read Less

Tried out this office today based on positive reviews on Yelp. Here's my take:I called ahead about if there was an "exam charge." To give some background, we moved here from Las Vegas where my vet office never charged a fee for the exam. The office we were using here (white tanks) charges $50 just for walking in the door, which is why I started looking elsewhere. We brought my dog in for boosters. It was $48 for distemper/parvo/exam and $20 for bordatella shots. Much more fair pricing (they combined a smaller exam charge with the first booster, though I'm not sure how it breaks down). That being said, this is a no-frills office. I think those exam fees go into making other vet offices more boutiquey, as a previous reviewer has mentioned. This doesn't lend to animal care, it just entertains us pet-owners.This is a small office with 2 exam rooms. Seems like an older building, and a little wear and tear is obvious. A little smoothing around the edges wouldn't hurt, but again, they're not charging what other clinics are. Both doctor and receptionist were super friendly, and we were in and out, quick and easy. The medical care here is the equivalent to taking your child to a county hospital. I can't afford high end, Mayo Clinic level, care for my puppy, but I know I can do better than this place. They are under staffed. They give conflicting information and give VERY bad customer service. My puppy had an umbilical hernia. The sutures were HORRIBLE! A child could have done better. They sutures are normally in for 10-14 days. I could see the healing process had progressed faster than normal. I called to get them taken out on day 7 and the receptionist refused to let the doctor see my puppy!!!!. I took him to another Vet (All Star Animal Hospital - Mayo Clinic level Care...Bell and 303). The doctor started to tell me the 10-14 I already knew...but he was much nicer than the other place. I showed him the sutures and he immediately removed them. Crossroads Towne Center is never going to see another one of my animals!!! Read Less
