We have had a lot of Veterinarians over the years, however none have been as caring and trustworthy like Cimarron Animal Hospital, Dr. Bonke and her wonderful caring staff. They have a new Veterinarian Vala (our dog) and myself got to meet and he is also great with the animals. When it comes to picking a vet for my furry kids I am very picky and I did research this clinic before deciding to take my 15 1/2 yr. old heeler, Augie there for hip issues. From the moment we walked in to the time we left both Augie and I had a good experience. I could tell that all the staff and Dr.Bohnke really cared about the animals they saw and treated, it wasn't all about the money. Unfortunately, 6 days later I was taking Augie back to let him go, his hips had gotten much worse in a very short time and I had to make the decision that all of us animal lovers hate to have to make but we do it for our furry kids or whatever type the animal may be. Upon arriving there, my mom and I were meet with several staff at my car being that they knew we could not lift Augie and he had made the decision to not walk anymore, so the staff was kind enough to help carry my big boy inside. Making the decision to let your very much loved furry kid go is not an easy one even when you know it's what your furry kid wants and it's the best thing for them and all the staff involved was so very kind, caring and compassionate. I really didn't want to be there for what I had to do but the staff and Dr.Bohnke did their best to make it as easy on me as they could. In my opinion, Cimarron Animal Hospital and all the staff was the right choice for me to choose to become my vet and thanks to Augie who led me there I now have a wonderful vet to go to from here on out. I do not hesitate at all in recommending this clinic, your furry kids will be in good hands, in my opinion. Thank you to all for support and compassion on that very hard day! Kelly Read Less
