Where has this place, these people and their loving philosophy/approach to pet care been hiding???  Well, literally, in an Eastside strip mall sandwiched between a cowboy jewelry shop and a gun store, nestled behind a 50s Diner.  You will seriously be missing out on quality affordable care for your fur babies if you choose to judge this place by its exterior appearance. The staff at Eastside Pet Clinic is extremely kind, patient, helpful and knowledgeable.  They are down to earth and very easy to talk to.  I never felt rushed or like I was a burden to them no matter how many questions I asked.  You can feel and see the sincerity in their faces.  It is a wonderful environment to bring your pet family members into for whatever treatment or healthcare they may need.  They are not pushy or pretentious in the least.  They educate you about your pet's individual scenario and give you the time you need to make an informed decision that works best for you and your pet.  Many of them (if not all of them) are pet owners themselves and they understand what it means to provide quality veterinary services at very affordable rates.I've been to other vets in the Eastside/Rita Ranch areas who obviously care more about MONEY than helping your pet heal and be well.  It is a sad sight to see and even worse to experience feeling trapped by such callous and selfish high pressure salesmen when you are in a vulnerable situation with a pet in need.  This is not the case with Eastside Pet Clinic whatsoever.  They truly care about animals and are exceptional at what they do.  What a breath of fresh air it was to interact with them.  Thank you, Dr. Curtis and team.BRING YOUR ANIMAL LOVED ONES HERE! The Vet here is kind and compassionate as is her staff. Very helpful and insightful. Their prices are reasonable. If I could give a minus star, I would. The miserable excuse for a Vet thinks she has all the answers, is insulted when you ask questions or make a suggestion. When my regular vet was out of town in December 2014, we went there on a recommendation - big mistake!! - and had tons of blood work done to find out why our little chihuahua was rapidly losing weight. After the tests came back she told me my dog had Valley Fever and needed the anti-fungal Fluconazole. I asked whether Itraconazole might not work better...as it had in several of our other little dogs. She told me "Itraconozole does not work in dogs..." which is in direct contradiction to serious veterinary research. Sadly I went along with her suggestion. After about 6 weeks when our little one continued to get sicker, I took her back to my previous vet who was back in town. I had the original blood work results faxed to him. It was after speaking with him I learned that my dog only had 30% kidney function at the time of the original testing...We re-did the blood work and after 6 weeks of fluconazole (which is filtered thru the kidneys) her function was down to TEN PERCENT. Iterkonazole would have filtered primarily thru the liver, but at this point there was so little kidney function left that we could not risk any toxins going thru her system!!! So we could not keep her on any anti-fungal medications. Had doctor-know-it-all-know-nothing considered an option, our dog might have survived... Our little one was so ill that we were discussing euthanasia in Feb. 2015. I was able to nurse her along, knowing either the kidneys would fail or the Valley Fever would kill her. Our little dog passed yesterday, December 9th 2015. If this so-called Vet had considered Iterconazole, which is filtered thru the liver, rather than becoming angered by my suggestion - our dog might still be with us and getting better. We spent a small fortune on blood work which she either didn't review or didn't care about...and promoted a drug which killed our dog. This Vet is a piece of work who should retire.Read Less

We have had several encounters with this Clinic. We have found Dr. Curtis an amazing Doctor. SHe is easy to talk with. She is down to earth and loves her 4 legged patients. We brought TJ, a large black long haired alpha male cat who had a badly injured leg. He was a wild animal who growled, clawed and fought. She was patient, helpful, reassuring and managed to get this wild child caged, medicated and examined. The news was far from good. She stood by us as we made a very difficult decision. I cannot express my gratitude to this office. I absolutely adored this wild cat of mine and saying good by was so hard. Dr. Curtis and Suzanne allowed us the time we needed and the comfort of knowing that TJ's final moments would be easy and loving. She was more than fair with the charges and I would recommend this office without any reservations. Thank you! Dr. Curtis. You are an amazing doctor. Wools Lavelle Read Less

Some time ago, I sent my cat, Little Fox to this vet to be altered. Without contacting me, without my consent, THIS MISERABLE VET KILLED MY CAT, on a whim and for no reason! I took her to small claims court in an effort to make her accountable for killing my cat, and the judge, a stupid, retarded degenerate named brian Schwartz said your cat has no value and AWARDED HER AN EIGHT HUNDRED DOLLAR JUDGEMENT, AGAINST ME, FOR KILLING MY CAT! aMERIKKKAN JUSTICE She refused to provide me with a record even though they are required to do so. THIS VET IS GUILTY OF ANIMAL CRUELTY and SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED WITH ANY LIVING THING! AVOID THIS VET AS YOU WOULD AVOID THE PLAGUE!!! Read Less

I've had nothing but good experiences here and they aren't out to rack up a huge bill like a lot of the other "vets" out there. Always helpful and friendly with fair rates.
