They were so compassionate, and since we were looking for a new vet for our own pets, we decided to try them out. Drs. Ireland and Kranch are simply amazing. The staff is very friendly. I have a good experience from start to finish. My kitties always get thoroughly checked out at every visit and when I do have issues with my pets, their vet always solves the problem. They are always healthy and all better when I bring them home from Encanto. The prices are kind of high for my liking but it’s worth it, for the services they provide and the work they do for my kitties. I was refered to Encanto by another animal hospital that couldn’t take me as a walk-in. The staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful, and the facility was clean and comfortable. The doctor fixed up my baby and never had me doubt her abilities. She was kind and straightforward, and I felt that the entire staff truly cared about helping my pup to the best of their ability. I brought my very sick cat to Encanto after having several bad experiences at another vet. Dr. Nausley was excellent! He asked a lot of questions, took his time to listen, did an extensive exam and provided the treatment that saved my cat's life. He took time to explain the treatments and procedures. Encanto Pet Clinic is the best veterinarian office in Tucson! Everyone from the receptionists, to the vet techs, to the doctors are so friendly and helpful. I have been taking my doggie to Encanto for grooming over the past 3 years. I have only used the Veterinarian service once, but was very pleased with the Doctor and treatment of my dog. Treva is the best groomer I have ever used! She is loving, kind and patient with the animals and my doggie always leave looking so handsome. She is very sensitive to the desires and concerns of the owner. I also took my cat (Sammy) to her before he passed away. A previous groomer complained about Sammy being very difficult to handle. Treva told me the exact opposite. She assured me that Sammy was very well behaved and she encountered no unusual behavior from him. The office staff are always very pleasant and friendly. We have been going to Encanto Pet Clinic with our dog Petey for many years. Petey has allergy issues and the doctors are fantastic and have worked very closely with us to make sure Petey is medicated and fed properly for his condition. They are so great about working us in when needed and everyone from the office girls to the vet assistants are so friendly and kind to Petey as well as us. We've only visited Encanto once, so far (when our regular vet was not available for an urgent, unanticipated issue), but we were very impressed by the friendly staff and the time the doctor spent to discuss & answer our questions. We may very well be switching to Encanto permanently. Update: We love Encanto Pet Clinic! And even our very shy pooch doesn't mind his visits to the vet any more. Encanto Pet Clinic, for me, is part of my extended family. I have taken my pets to these skilled, caring people for over twenty years. One of my dogs is still alive and loving life because of all of the care he is receiving. My dogs love their visits to the Clinic. They love their doctors, their groomer, the techs. I can get a complete range of services through the Clinic. I get my food there, my vaccinations, all exams, any tests and labwork, grooming, and I get the newsletter. I can call at any time with any question and I always get an answer....like when my dogs ate 88 pieces of Orbit diet bubble gum and I wondered what I should do...Tina and Liz immediately did the research and we got it figured out! All of the staff at Encanto Pet Clinic are kind, courteous and knowledgable. From the front desk staff who make prompt appointments to the vet techs and both vets who honestly care about their patients. My dog has been a patient there for 10 years and she has received extremely excellent care. Now my new dog is a patient as well. When Dr. Ireland treated my sons dog in his last 2 weeks of life, the entire staff was amazing and our concerns were addressed immediately. The staff is wonderful, facilities clean but pretty pricey. I know that they consider themselves competitive with other vets in town, but that's not what I have found. Nothing like coming to terms with putting your animal down and finding out it's well over $100. Really? For a few shots? That's cruel to the suffering pet owner. But everyone is more than kind.
