Feline Limited Cat Clinic

Tucson, Arizona
General Info
Each visit to Feline Limited Cat Clinic in Tucson unfolds as a choreographed performance with its measured pauses, purposeful movements, and intentional breathing spaces. Across Arizona this model enables effective pet care services. Upon arrival pets gain permission to investigate their environment. The process embraces scent-mapping along with deliberate movements and selective engagement as integral components. The clinical team monitors the animal's response to floor texture variations together with ceiling acoustic conditions and vertical elements. Each veterinary visit manifests uniquely—some start with gentle palpation while others commence through visual examinations or social acclimation steps. Pet owners receive invitations to disclose specific information about their pets' preferred resting spots at home along with the noises their pets avoid and any changes in mealtime rhythms. Feline Limited Cat Clinic delivers support for services such as injury evaluation immune system diagnostics muscle elasticity checks sensory aversion handling and chronic illness co-management. Examination configurations undergo modifications in response to respiratory patterns, freezing indicators, visual interruptions, or limb retractions. Every exam room incorporates elements for immediate adjustment including portable stools, adjustable lighting, and optional barriers to minimize visual distractions. The caregiving process reaches its final stage not with the procedure but through decompression. Pets receive an adjustment period before departure to recalibrate their senses. Behavioral pacing guides instruct owners on the appropriate waiting periods before reintroducing stimuli along with the timing for offering food or touch and identifying signs of emotional lag or physical soreness. Feline Limited Cat Clinic serves Tucson pets and those from nearby Arizona regions by implementing animal-friendly protocols throughout entry, treatment, and recovery phases that align with feline perceptions of movement, space, and sequence.

My only complaint is that they don't accept Care Credit. Other than that, Dr. Upchurch was very supportive and realistic about what my cat would need when he got sick. She explained to me exactly what my boy was going through, what could be done, and what steps I needed to take in order for this to never happen again. She only does surgery until it is absolutely necessary and made it very easy to get his prescription food online. This clinic is my absolute go-to for my fur baby's needs! Read Less

My family has been using this place for years! Absolutely loving towards kitties and kind and considerate to their parents. Doctor was even gracious enough to put my small dog down for me early in the morning because nowhere else was open yet and I had sat up with her all night watching my little girl of ten years, whom I had since I was a young teen, dying and seizuring. Dr. Upchurch was beyond caring and compassionate. I even adopted my lil boy from their lobby three years ago and can't imagine life without him. Feline Ltd. rocks! Read Less

The vets and technicians here are so kind and knowledgeable. My mom and I took two 15 year old cats in to get checked out for ongoing health conditions, and came out with a lot more knowledge of what to do for our old guys and what's normal for senior cats. If you're questioning if a cats-only vet is worth it, it is!! Specific care is so helpful, and the vet we saw was so attentive, at no point did we feel rushed despite bringing in two cats at once. Overall the visit came up to about $250, including two antibiotic shots, which is really quite affordable for two animals! I'm recommending this clinic to all of my friends with kitties in their lives. Read Less

Dr. Upchurch may be the best and kindest vet in Tucson. When we were told by another clinic that our cat's heart murmur was worsening, we feared bad news along with an expensive visit, but neither proved to be the case. Dr. Upchurch spent over half an hour with us explaining how murmurs begin, the progression, and what to expect in the years ahead. She even brought in a textbook to show us photos. In our four years in Tucson, no one else has been this thorough. We were quite pleased that unnecessary blood work or x-rays weren't ordered, as had been suggested by other vet receptionists we had called. We were even more delighted  that the bill was only $65. We only wish she also treated dogs! And people! Read Less

I will NEVER take one of my cats ANYWHERE ELSE!!!! I cannot even put into words how grateful I am to have found Dr. Upchurch! I don't even know where to begin. The entire staff is very friendly and accommodating (the receptionist who caused some earlier complaint no longer works there), they also followed through on getting records from previous vets there by appointment time! Dr. Upchurch really took her time to thoroughly examine my cats very swollen toe (which at 2 previous vets had not even been touched, my cat had been left in pain for almost two months without any suggestions other than $1500 worth of more tests), answered all of our questions, explained all of our treatment options, reserved surgery time even though we hadn't decided yet. The morning of surgery she had cleared the entire mornings schedule in case of complications (our cat is 11 years old, has a heart murmur, spot on her lung and a seizure disorder) and took another x-ray without extra charge! After surgery we didn't get a call from staff, but from the Dr.! Our cat stayed overnight for observation at no extra charge! We ended up paying less than $500 for the surgery, including pathology (SHE TAKES PAYMENTS TOO!!!) and the BEST care we could have ever imagined for our baby! Here is a vet as a vet should be, competent and compassionate, not just in it for the $$$$! We love you, Dr. Upchurch! Read Less

I first took my kitty to see Dr. Upchurch 7 years ago due to concerns about blood in her urine.  Since then, her urinary issues have stabilized, she developed and was treated for allergies, her weight is now under control and her developing thyroid issues are being managed.  I feel she has recieved excellent care and Dr. Upchurch has been competent and thorough.  Aside from the quality of care, what won me over was her ability to connect with my cat, to understand her behavior.  I have a very, very anxious kitty who doesn't like new sounds, smells, people or really any kind of change.  The doctor was so gentle and understanding with my cat, recognizing that the trauma that going to a vet office can involve.  I completely trusted her with my sensitive kitty.  The pricing is on the upper end of normal, but completely justified when you consider the quality of care.  I felt involved in every decision that was made with regard to testing and treatment, Dr. Upchurch always presented options along with the pros and cons of each one.  Another reviewer mentioned the receptionists' attitude- there used to be a staff member who was a bit off-putting but I don't think she works there anymore.  Overall, I highly recommend this clinic. My 18 year old cat was in need of a check-up. Previously, my cat would lose his mind at the vet's. Howling, hissing, growling and yowling. Going to the vet could have him hiding under the couch for DAYS.Here? He hardly put up a fuss. The worst part for HIM was having blood drawn, and that was over before he even knew what had happened. The vet shaved his back leg in about an inch square, drew the blood, and my cat was as surprised as I was.The vet was very, very helpful and knowledgeable. She was very thorough, pointing out old injuries and scars that I hadn't even mentioned (one, a scar on his inner eye-lid, I didn't even know about! And I've owned him for 18 years!) She also explained to me why certain tests were a good idea, and why other things should be placed on the back shelf for now.Having ordered some bloodwork (old cat, kidneys+), I expected the bill to be pretty steep. I was shocked when it was only $150, we're getting a lot of tests done!DEFINITELY suggest this clinic if you're in the area! Read Less

Dr. Upchurch can discover more with a glance and a palpitation than most vets can with a month of high-tech tests. She's also a genuinely compassionate person, along with most of her staff. She was very nice but based on research and information from specialists it seems that she is utilizing protocols for treatment that are "old" and no longer considered best practice. I'm posting this review wherever I can because Dr. Upchurch and her staff are just spectacular. They are friendly incredibly and insanely knowledgeable. They are cat people, through and through with a wealth of information about cats in general and your cat in particular. I brought my cat in at an unfortunate time in her life as she was diagnosed with mammary cancer shortly after her initial visit. Dr. Upchurch and the staff ffered honest, affordable, compassionate care for both me and my kitty. Truthfully, I needed way more reassurance and comforting than my cat probably did and Dr. Upchurch was amazing and patient in explaining all of our options in a practical, accessible way that never pressured me or made me feel judged. She and the Feline Ltd. staff also provided the most wonderful and sensitive end of life care services imaginable. Anyone who's ever lost a pet knows how heartbreaking the decision to euthanize can be but Dr. Upchurch made the whole process as humane and I believe, as painless as possible for both of us with an at-home visit at the end of weeks of stellar treatment and care. I have since adopted a rescue kitty and will trust Feline Ltd. to take care of him for what I hope will be a long and happy life. Read Less

Dr. Upchurch and her staff are top-notch. They're all extreme cat lovers and treat the cats with expertise and great compassion. They take the time to explain everything to the owners -- and talk a lot to the cats. The no-dogs policy makes the experience of going to the vet much easier for the cats (and owners). We have more than five years of experience with this clinic, especially during the past six months since one of our cats developed kidney disease. We don't know how long he's going to be with us, but he's been enjoying a very good quality of life since symptoms developed, thanks to Dr. Upchurch, Stella, Natalie and Jenna. He has to go in for fluid injections once to twice per week, and one of the many good things about the clinic is that they can do this seven days a week (limited but convenient hours on weekends).Sundays are best for us and our cat because it's a much quicker drive. We don't live very nearby, but the drive is worth it. I wouldn't go to any other vet for our cats unless there were an emergency. Highly recommended! Read Less

Feline Limited Cat Clinic

Tucson, Arizona
(45)
3250 N Campbell Ave # 124
Tucson Arizona 85719

Read Less
