I took a hurt rabbit in as this vet specializes in smaller animals. It was a domestic rabbit I found and they really worked with me to get the rabbit saved. They were very kind compassionate and worked with me to save the rabbit. The vet called the next morning just see how Peter Rabbit was doing very kind. Unfortunately the rabbit got a blood clot and died that night after surgery. The vet only charged me for supplies.

If you are looking for a vet with rabbit expertise, then look no further. Dr. Panzero is your guy! I recently adopted two rabbits from PACC. One of them had several serious abscesses on her hind-leg. I took her to Dr. P for a consultation. He thoroughly examined her and explained her options to me - treatment vs. amputation. It was in her best interest to have her leg amputated. Anyone who has been through this with a pet knows how difficult of a decision that this is for pet owners. Dr. Panzero gave me all of the necessary information to make the best decision for her. I was given a detailed total cost of surgery beforehand and they were able to schedule her in very quickly! Dr. Panzero called me before and after the surgery to keep me updated. I was really worried about her but he put my mind at ease. He personally called me that Friday night and Saturday too in order to check in on her and answer any questions. I feel that he cares about my bunnies as much as I do and understands how important they are to me. He is extremely knowledgeable and talented in rabbit medicine and just as kind and empathetic. The vet techs and the receptionist (I wish I knew her name) are just as awesome! There were no financial surprises and there is a helpful online pet portal too. I highly recommend River Road Pet Clinic. Your pet will be in great hands. They saved my rabbit's life!!

How can I say too many good things? I'd give Dr Panzero even MORE 'stars', if available! :) We live in another AZ city, but have taken our sweet bunnies to him for 'years'! (If it's a 'serious' concern, for one of our bunnies--we head 'north'! ) Our Benji has just, this week, been saved from probable imminent death, from GI stasis. Benji, a Himalayan, is almost 11 years old..so at great risk, and we just can't thank Dr Panzero enough, for his educations, experience, and high...-tech skills... and--just as important, we think-- for his 'compassion'! His practice is (still, I believe) limited to cats, dogs and rabbits! It's difficult to 'find' a good 'bunny-savvy' vet, in any city, and we have! Thanks 'again', Dr Panzero! See More

I wish I would have brought my diabetic cat here so many years ago. Dr. Crocker, Kira and Stacy have been nothing but amazing. Dr. Crocker took the time and examined my cat and explained everything so well and answered all of my questions and concerns and even when I called back a few days later, he immediately came to the phone and spoke with me and explained the test results for my cat. He is so knowledgeable and so kind. I love this place and so happy that I switched my cat over to this clinic.

Recently I boarded my pets here for the first time and was not pleased. I have a normal boarding faculty that I go to but it was booked up because of Holiday weekend. I was recommended this clinic for boarding and felt comfortable since it's an animal hospital and boarding facility in case my pets needed emergency care. First I would like to say that the staff was very nice but I felt like there was a lack in communication on service fees. I was told I needed to come in for a meet and greet which I thought was a free service to just meet the dogs and make sure they were ok to board (making sure their shots are up to date and don't have any medical concerns or behavioral issues). After the meet and greet was over I was charged a new Clint fee of $40 which was not mentioned via phone call. I understand they need to be a patient there to board in case of emergency care but that was never addressed. After meet and greet I was told that I was good to go for drop off; all paper work was done just drop off and go. The day of drop off I was told they needed flu shots to board which cost an additional $50 on top of boarding fees. So not only did I have to spend an additional $90 just to drop them off with unexpected last minute fees but my dog ended up with kennel cough. We will not be boarding or visiting this clinic ever again.

We are new in town and have not had a pet for 11 years. We recently got a dog and I had to shop for a Vet without having people to ask about a good facility. I am so impressed by the professionalism and caring of the staff at this facility. After visiting several Vets in town for information on their services, I walked into River Pet Clinic and was greeted by a smiling Brittany who answered all my questions, was very personable and gave me a folder with info on the facility and what our puppy would need. They were not the cheapest but...First impressions matter and I chose them because of that first connection. I have not been disappointed. Both Doctors follow up with calls on their treatments even if it is routine. Didn't expect a call from the Doctor to check on our puppy. I am very satisfied with the care and compassion they have shown our new addition.

Dr. Panzero, Dr. Yeager and the entire staff have been absolutely amazing. My rabbit, Delilah, had to have eye surgery last month. The recovery took a little longer than expected but they always erred on the side of caution and did not rush her recovery. They were very attentive and called to check in on us after her surgery and were always there to answer questions. Delilah and I couldn't be happier.

Just took my cat in to be checked out, he was sneezing & was told that he had a respiratory infection of some sort.
Staff was very friendly, doctor knowledgeable, however, they are very similar to Banfield where they try to sell services more than concentrating on the current medical concern.
After the doctor left, she wrote up the itemized statement, gave it to the nurse to show it to me and I never saw her again. It is not good business practice/customer service to just leave the customer and not return. Having just recently moved here, I had previously dealt with a fantastic Veterinary clinic in Ferndale, WA where I always discussed treatment options and follow-up with the doctor and never saw the nurses after my pet was brought into the exam room.
Nice atmosphere, friendly enough staff, however the doctor needs to learn better customer service etiquette. . .

We adopted our dog at the humane society. We were told that most vets gave a first-exam discount for dogs adopted by the humane society. We were already clients of this vet's clinic, so we took our new dog there. They told us they do not offer that discount, because their exams were "too comprehensive." I think that it is a shame that these vets, who claim to care for animals, can't offer a one-time discount to help stray dogs get adopted.Otherwise, my experience with this clinic is good.

I took my rabbit here during an emergency and I really appreciated the way we were treated! There are not a lot of vets who know how to work with rabbits but Dr. Yeager did a great job. Unfortunately my little guy was beyond repair. All of the staff was respectful and sympathetic and they later sent me a handwritten card and my pet's paw prints. The extra care was appreciated!

My dog had to go into the clinic to get an infected tooth removed. I used to see Dr. Panzero with dogs I have had in the past, but this time my dog saw Dr. Yaeger. She went through a thorough consultation with me and my dog before her surgery. She called twice to give me updates on how my dog was doing throughout the day. When I picked my dog up, the staff all seemed to have met my dog and they gave me a detailed instructions. Overall, they are wonderful, knowledgeable vets and caring, friendly staff!

The only complaint I have is their advisement forsome kind of additional treatment which is always atenormous costs. Now I do think they have the animals best interests at heart but most of us don't make a vets salary.

We love Dr. Panzero! We have 2 bunnies and 2 small dogs and he is great with all of them. Takes his time during the exams and always is sure to answer any and all questions you may have. The staff is also very friendly and kind. We have been to other vets in town that were closer to our home, but went back to River Road Pet Clinic because of how much we like it for our fur babies.

So not only did I have to spend an additional $90 just to drop them off with unexpected last minute fees but my dog ended up with kennel cough. We will not be boarding or visiting this clinic ever again.

We are new in town and have not had a pet for 11 years. We recently got a dog and I had to shop for a Vet without having people to ask about a good facility. I am so impressed by the professionalism and caring of the staff at this facility. After visiting several Vets in town for information on their services, I walked into River Pet Clinic and was greeted by a smiling Brittany who answered all my questions, was very personable and gave me a folder with info on the facility and what our puppy would need. They were not the cheapest but...First impressions matter and I chose them because of that first connection. I have not been disappointed. Both Doctors follow up with calls on their treatments even if it is routine. Didn't expect a call from the Doctor to check on our puppy. I am very satisfied with the care and compassion they have shown our new addition.

This is the third time he's limping and I have no answers. These guys kindly offered me an appointment next Tuesday or Wednesday for my dog in pain, instead of seeing him before this holiday weekend.

Dr. Panzero, Dr. Yeager and the entire staff have been absolutely amazing. My rabbit, Delilah, had to have eye surgery last month. The recovery took a little longer than expected but they always erred on the side of caution and did not rush her recovery. They were very attentive and called to check in on us after her surgery and were always there to answer questions. Delilah and I couldn't be happier.

Just took my cat in to be checked out, he was sneezing & was told that he had a respiratory infection of some sort.
Staff was very friendly, doctor knowledgeable, however, they are very similar to Banfield where they try to sell services more than concentrating on the current medical concern.
After the doctor left, she wrote up the itemized statement, gave it to the nurse to show it to me and I never saw her again. It is not good business practice/customer service to just leave the customer and not return. Having just recently moved here, I had previously dealt with a fantastic Veterinary clinic in Ferndale, WA where I always discussed treatment options and follow-up with the doctor and never saw the nurses after my pet was brought into the exam room.
Nice atmosphere, friendly enough staff, however the doctor needs to learn better customer service etiquette. . .

Dr. Yeager has been our caring vet for all 3 of our dogs. We love her! She is gentle, listens well, explains thoroughly and regularly calls after appointments to check on our dogs.

We adopted our dog at the humane society. We were told that most vets gave a first-exam discount for dogs adopted by the humane society. We were already clients of this vet's clinic, so we took our new dog there. They told us they do not offer that discount, because their exams were "too comprehensive." I think that it is a shame that these vets, who claim to care for animals, can't offer a one-time discount to help stray dogs get adopted.Otherwise, my experience with this clinic is good.

Unfortunately my little guy was beyond repair. All of the staff was respectful and sympathetic and they later sent me a handwritten card and my pet's paw prints. The extra care was appreciated!

My dog had to go into the clinic to get an infected tooth removed. I used to see Dr. Panzero with dogs I have had in the past, but this time my dog saw Dr. Yaeger. She went through a thorough consultation with me and my dog before her surgery. She called twice to give me updates on how my dog was doing throughout the day. When I picked my dog up, the staff all seemed to have met my dog and they gave me a detailed instructions. Overall, they are wonderful, knowledgeable vets and caring, friendly staff!

The only complaint I have is their advisement forsome kind of additional treatment which is always atenormous costs. Now I do think they have the animals best interests at heart but most of us don't make a vets salary.

We love Dr. Panzero! We have 2 bunnies and 2 small dogs and he is great with all of them. Takes his time during the exams and always is sure to answer any and all questions you may have. The staff is also very friendly and kind. We have been to other vets in town that were closer to our home, but went back to River Road Pet Clinic because of how much we like it for our fur babies.
