Great experience taking our dog here. They really took their time to make sure she felt comfortable in the room and with them before doing any procedures. Not sure where all the great ratings are coming from but must say terribly dissatisfied with our experience. In the office for over two hours and we were rushed out the door after our dog was treated. Within less than a half hour had to change dressing four times as our dog profusely bled everywhere. Blood in the car, blood all over our house. You would think they would get the bleeding under control before you were rushed out the door. The only reason I don't give a one star rating is to give them a chance to make things right. My prediction is they got me for almost $300 and we are on our own. Is this world null and devoid of any one who cares about doing things right? A terrible experience. Did get a couple calls after posting review, the last one offering to have us come back and run about $500 in tests. Stopped all medications after the first dose due to warnings on the label of one in particular. My dog is doing better with the care we provide as dog owners. I do have about $100 in unused meds that I will dispose of properly. Read Less

We've been bringing our dogs here for several years now, and we wouldn't want to go anywhere else. Our dog absolutely adores everyone there, and they are always so loving and sweet with her. Absolutely the Best Vet Clinic I've ever been to so far, the staff and Vet made us feel welcome and were very informative, they didn't try to rush is in and out like alot of Vets do, and being Rumbles first checkup before he is Neutered helped him Not hate the doctors. I recently adopted a kitten from the humane society and needed to find somewhere that would accept their free wellness checkup appointment, rolling hills does. I had an early morning appointment and getting my cat in his carrier was tricky but we made it. The lobby is clean amd welcoming, the staff is amazing the second you walk in. I found out they have diffusers in each room that let out a smell that makes your pets more at ease and comfortable. I think that's awesome! They put us in a room, gave my cat a treat, and even offered me coffee. The vet was amazing and helpful and friendly. I highly recommend rolling hills pet clinic!!! (: Read Less

Low rating because we feel we were swindled. We brought our dog here because she was crying every time she laid down. The vet suggested she might have hip dysplasia or something wrong with her legs. The vet recommended we get a 500 dollar X-ray done to see what is wrong, and because we love our pets we went ahead and ran up our credit card. After getting the X ray done she did not have hip dysplasia. The vet suggested she might have a torn ligament in the knee because it "didn't look right". We went ahead and began treating her with anti inflammatory for her pain which seemed to work, for a little while. Much later our dog started coughing and hacking up mucus so we brought her to a different vet, Guadalupe vet, for a second opinion. The vet at Guadalupe thought her symptoms sounded like Valley Fever, and after having her tested it turned out she did have Valley fever, which explains her joint pain also. After this experience i feel like either Rolling Hills swindled us for expensive treatments, or they really don't know what they are talking about. Valley fever is super common in Tucson and should have been way up on the list of possible issues, we were even considering surgery options for no reason. I recommend trying out the southside vets if you want a vet that really cares about animals but also tries to be as affordable as possible. Read Less

I went to Rolling Hills Pet Clinic and my Dr. was Dr. J. Charlie Deutsch...I have never met such a caring compassionate veterinary and staff...The way they interact with the animals and the client is absolutely amazing in all my years I have never been treated so well and the way they examined my very sick boy was with such love and care. I have never seen a veterinarian go so slowly and gently and even dim the lights to make my baby more comfortable, I am in awe of this man and is innate ability to connect on such a deep level with his patient. I did end up letting my boy go yesterday and although my heart is deeply saddened I know in my heart this was the right thing to do for him! They were all amazing, kind, gentle and never pushed me to do anything but spent plenty of time discussing all I had on my list of possibilities to save him or if I should let him go because I went in with the intention of either exploratory surgery or euthanasia and they did not push either way. I had never been to this clinic and only wish I had found them sooner...I have most definitely found my new vet clinic. He has an amazing ability to communicate and his compassion shows in his interaction with the pets and their owners. He helped us get to the bottom of our sweet Zoey's illness and armed us with the information to allow us to make the right decision for her. All of the staff there was amazing especially Kris. if i could give rolling hills pet clinic ten stars, i would, without hesitation. with the exception of three late-night emergencies (two euths and pulled stitches), we have taken all of our pets to rolling hills and have received nothing but excellent care for them. the staff are fantastic--what does it say when your 90-pound black lab LIKES to go to the vet? that's the only proof i need. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this clinic and would recommended it to friends and family and to everyone! I see the Dr. Who owns the clinic but the other gentalmen Dr. Is also great! The Owner that I see is always very detail oriented, she answered and explained all my questions, and genuinely seems like she loves animals! Had to bring my small dog in after being attacked by a cat. The staff at Rolling Hills were so helpful and kind, and bent over backwards to fit us in last minute. Saved us so much money to go here instead of an emergency vet clinic. Dr. Haskell is such an attentive, caring vet, and took such good care of my dog. This review is mainly about the service provided by the staff at Rolling Hills as my pets have never been seen there. First, about three years ago as I was moving, my cat ran out the front door and got into a fight. Two days later and her paw was extremely swollen and obviously infected. We had just moved to this area and called Rolling Hills and they didn't have any availability but urged me to get my cat seen asap, which I did. They were very apologetic about not being able to see her but extremely informative and courteous when reiterating that my cat needed medical attention and probably had an infection. Overall very nice vibes from them and very friendly. Today, I caught a dog running loose in the parking lot and my first thought was the dog needs water! (I work in the same plaza) I walked over to their office and they were so amazing and so happy to help. They got water for the dog, scanned her for a microchip, which she did have! Ultimately the dog's owners picked her up from me about an hour later and major thanks to Rolling Hills for that! I didn't even think of a micro chip. Everyone in there is so nice and friendly. Over the past 15 years we have taken our animal children to Rolling Hills Pet Clinic because of convenience of location. Our dogs would often visit Dr. Haskell and we stopped going because we felt her services to our dogs and our families dogs was not as good as other vets we would have to drive far for. Today we had an emergency for a new puppy and we wanted to get her somewhere quickly so we can make sure we can figure out what is wrong with her. Dr. Haskell was very rude and impatient towards us, as though our dog being sick is our fault, and we were wasting her time. Dr. Haskell thought she has symptoms of parvo but our dog tested negative (our puppy is up to date with all of her shots), she also presumed our dog was not given the puppy Parvo shots correctly. We decided to leave the office and continue our dogs treatment elsewhere, we felt so comfortable and at ease about the vet we should have taken her to in the first place. I am so disappointed that we have to drive far to find good service for our loved one. We also find that their prices are much more expensive than many of their competitors, but you still don't get amazing services with their high prices. Read Less

Took my dog there to get his shots and lic. updated and to have a lump checked out. She did a needle biopsy and said that it was a lipoma and there wasn't anything to worry about but said I should keep an eye on it for any change. She was very good up to that point. She looked him over and said that he was in need of get his teeth cleaned and that she would work up a price to have that done. I was given an estimate of $1101 and $1497. Are you frigging kidding me!! I called all over Tucson for prices and the highest price I got was $290. It's obvious that this vet try to play with peoples love for their pet in order to rip them off. Read Less

love the entire staff.  caring and warm...they treat your pets like their own. every single time we have needed to take our pets to dr. h and staff, we always receive an after-hours follow-up call to check on our furbabies.  ALWAYS.  and it's not 5:15...it's 7:30 or later.  for a vet to do that, to take time out of their off-time to do that, really speaks volumes about the care and commitment they have to our animals.they are the best! Awful place and a terrible rip-off.I brought my 2 dogs in for their annual exams this past March.  I also wanted one of my dog's x-rayed because he was having some old age limping going on.  They completed the x-rays for about $200 then told me that they did not have any staff certified to read them so it would cost another $200 to have them sent away to be read.Fast forward 4 months later, my husband and I were about to go on vacation.  I call Rolling Hills to have our dogs vaccination records sent to the kennel...only to find that one of my dogs did not get vaccinated!  WHY WOULD A PET OWNER ONLY OPT TO HAVE ONE OF HER DOGS VACCINATED?!Yeah, okay....this is what happened.....I walked in and said "Good afternoon, I would like both my pets to have exams today, but please, only vaccinate Roscoe.  What about Zeus you ask? No, Zeus is originally from an Amish farm in Pennsylvania.  He told me that it would be a disgrace to his people if I vaccinated him.  Please pay no mind that he got his vaccinations here last March, he was not feeling as connected to his people back then.  We only want 1 set of vaccinations today"If it was a mistake, I get it, apologize...offer us the vaccinations.....something!  All they did was sit there and say "Yes, we have your records" (then proceed to hand me only the records for the other dog).  I was getting on a plane and was trying to drop the dogs off that morning.  We were stuck and Zeus had to stay home while Roscoe went to the kennel by himself.  We had our neighbor come over 3x a day to check on him.  Problem with that was that he has terrible separation anxiety and practically destroyed the house.  He also is 115lbs and a growly breed so he scares most anyone coming over.  There were times our neighbors were uncomfortable with him.  He needed to be around professionals in our trusted kennel we use. He is great around people, just not as great when unfamiliar people are walking into his territory and he hasn't seen his 'Dad' in days.The woman with the British accent at the front desk is absent-minded and has made this whole process terrible.My husband went in yesterday to get both of the dogs medical records and they told him he could only have the shot record for Roscoe.  Since we wanted the whole charts I called back to ask why we weren't getting them.  She is now requesting them now and they have to be approved by the doc (I understand this).  I asked for them to be expedited since we had been trying to get these since yesterday.I truly despise this clinic.  I have never gone there and actually received worthwhile care for either of my dogs and I cannot even trust them to vaccinate them appropriately.I went there initially because when I moved out to Tucson to be with my husband this was already the vet he took Zeus (his dog) to.  I have taken him there in the past for other issues as well and have never been impressed.  Prior to this vaccination issue I was looking for a new vet all together but was in no rush because they had just had their annual exams and should have been good till next year.STAY AWAY from this place!  They are even pricey compared to other clinics in the area and all for nothing.  Poor facility, low quality staff, high price-tag.  The last thing anyone needs is to unexpectedly find out their vet did not practice standard care on their animals.  It still blows my mind that they only vaccinated one.... My cat had a number of problems before and after her surgery. I had to take her back as an emergency visit, and despite the Clinic having a fully booked schedule for that day, Dr. Schneider was able to address and resolve the problem that same morning. My experience was absolutely wonderful. My better half had gone there years ago, but when we moved across town we changed vets. However, we did not get the same care we get at Rolling HIlls. We have pitbulls and the staff showed nothing but love for them. I'll never go anywhere else again. Read Less

I love dr. Haskell.. shes the most loving vet out there.. wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else :-)But the one bad experience i had was with dr cohen.. my cat was not doing to good so i brought him in unfortunately haskell wasnt there and but i dropped the kitty off go be put down and he called me back and said he wouldn't cuz the cat was fine just needed dental work. So i took the cat home and he got worse so i decided to take him to the humane society and by the time we got there he was dead.. i was mad that dr cohen basically made my cat suffer because he was to lazy to see the cat wasnt good :-( Read Less

Rolling Hills has taken care of my K9 kids for a number of years. Dr. Haskell is only the second vet that I have come across that is really caring and provides the greatest care. Since Dr. Layton has joined her, I have been very impressed with her and have had great experience with her as well. Dr. Haskell is still my "go to" vet, and the trust that I have in her ability and counsel is unsurpassed. I also have had great experience with the staff who have always been polite and helpful. Dr. Haskell is awesome! We wouldn't go anywhere else! She listens to my questions, and gently corrects the dumb things that I do. She gave me her e-mail address to send follow up questions. I once asked about residue from one medication cross-contaminating my aquarium (obscure question,but I red the fine print and it said it could be a danger to fish), she contacted the manufacturer to clarify.Rolling Hills pet clinic is the best! I really like Rolling Hills, but I love Dr. Haskell.  She has been the vet for both of my dogs since I got them (3yrs now).  The clinic is always good about sending me reminders for vaccinations.  Also they are good about working with my schedule.  In addition, when I have taken a dog in sick, they always call and follow up.  Once, I went to an emergency vet when my dog was extremely sick.  They were pushing me to have tons and tons of tests done and it didn't feel right.  But I called Dr. Haskell the next day and she saw my dog, and said that what the other vet was trying to do was not necessary.  Again, they called me a couple of times for follow-up just to make sure my dog was okay.I have since moved to the other side of town and will make the drive to continue to have my dogs seen there.I have had nothing but great service from the staff, and especially Dr. Haskell. I love this clinic!  They are friendly when you call in for appointments and I never have to wait a long time.  Dr. Haskell is wonderful. She's thorough and intuitive with my dog who has valley fever, and a very sensitive stomach.  When he first started having symptoms of refusing to eat/ GI upset Dr. Haskell helped keep the cost down while trying to determine what was going on.They are also great with simply maintaining his health with yearly blood draws, shots and gland expression appointments with the techs. I have been taking my dog (an aging but beloved mutt) to Rolling Hills Pet Clinic for several years and I have experienced nothing but outstanding care. Their prices are excellent and the doctors and techs take a genuine interest in my dog. Would not recommend this vet to anyone. Took my cat in and of course as most cats act in a foreign environment, my cat was not a happy camper. Met with a vet named Cohen and he was not a friendly person and was also condescending at times. He also made smart comments towards me. He then mentions that they might have to sedate my cat so he can make the proper diagnosis without any resistance and I completely agreed since I don't want anyone harmed trying to figure out whats going on with my pet. He left the room for a while and then 5 mins later his assistant came in saying that... the vet thinks its a good idea to get her some meds and come back if the problem continues. I was unhappy, paid the fee, and left. Now I will need to find another vet and schedule another visit and spend more money when I have it. Thanks a lot for taking my money Rolling Hills and giving up on my cat! If anyone knows a good Vet in town, I would greatly appreciate any recommendations. Read Less
