Dr Brett is the ONLY vet who thoroughly examines my pups each visit, even if they’re just there for followup. When my boy doggy was suffering with severe allergies, my former vet just wanted to pump him up with steroids and antibiotics...but Dr Brett used diet changes and herbal remedies to heal him. Gave me my puppy back! He is always great about explaining stuff and detailing various treatment options. The assistant staff is so skilled and friendly, and always makes call-backs to check on my pets after a visit. No trouble with getting a timely appointment or with long waits. Finally found a great place for my pug babies!! Dr. Brett is great and believes in holistic care! He takes his time with your fur babies and answers all your questions. Excellent and caring service. I did a lot of research before I chose Rosemont and it really paid off. They take great pride in their work and it shows. When I was unable to give my dog pain medication they treated him for pain and even gave him acupuncture treatments at no extra cost and not just once but twice! My little guy is back to normal and I can't thank them enough. I first took my dog to one of the major corporate practices. They seemed ok but I wanted to see what difference a private practice such as Rosemont would make. It was about $400 less! But it's not about the money. Once we met Dr Brett and his charming , kind staff, we drove the hour from Tubac for several weeks to get our elderly dog the chiropractic and red light  frequency treatments he provided.  We had had acupuncture for our dog previously, but these treatments were more effective and less invasive.    These are gentle, caring, expert folks. Dr. Brett and his staff are all great!  I moved to Tucson about a year ago and went to a few different vets before finally settling here.   Dr. Brett has seen my 2 cats with cancer and has been very knowledgable and helpful in caring for them.  One of the cats with cancer recently took a downward turn and I was worried it was going to be the end soon, but Dr. Brett came up with a bunch of different ideas to try (not just more drug prescriptions, but things like a humidifier, Pepcid, coconut oil) and we got him back to how he was before which is amazing since this cat was diagnosed with cancer over 2.5 years ago.  Really!  I have seen the mass on a CT scan.  Caring for terminally ill pets is a horrible thing and they have been patient with all my questions and concerns.  On my visits, they always give me a printout of suggested therapies and what they would cost and explain what they think is necessary and what could maybe wait.  I don't always have everything done that is on the list and they just say, 'ok' and leave it at that.   I have also seen Dr. Olson, who fills in occasionally for Dr. Brett and she is great, too.  And it is obvious staff members Mike and Brooke are true animal lovers.  Highly recommend this vet. The receptionist (I forget his name now) is probably the best part of our experience. For me, some vets make me feel more comfortable than others and this is one I just didn't connect with. I drove here from Green Valley because my dog was having structural pain from wild ball playing and I thought chiropractic might help. I could not find an actual dog chiropractor in Tucson so against my better judgement I decided to try their VOM technique. The vet didn't act very enthusiastic about even doing the "adjustments" on her and he didn't tell me yes or no if she needed it but went ahead anyway since that's why I went all the way up there and they were happy to charge me for it. And as I suspected VOM is absurd not unlike chiros who use the activator. I have since gotten into an actual integrated medicine clinic and am so so so much happier with that experience. Finally, in leaving I was given a plan for very expensive xrays & bloodwork (which I'd just recently had done and brought with me) and was called and emailed repeatedly for a follow up visit. Even if I do end up having more blood and xrays done I just as soon go elsewhere for good communication. This is probably a crappy review but my dog is my fur baby and our experience was just average. Read Less

Dr.Brett is amazing and supportive. He didn't try to pressure us into unnecessary procedures which would've been uncomfortable for our pregnant chihuahua as well as our wallets. He let us know what could be done and was kind enough to make recommendations to put us at ease in our decisions. He is a veterinarian that went into this business out of a genuine love and respect for animals. He has a gentle manner and our pups loved him just as much as we did. The office was super clean and very accessible. There were rewards for the pets (dog treats) and the humans (delicious cookies) and they were offered graciously. Mike is a very attentive and warm veterinary tech who made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door. He is incredibly knowledgable about animals and ours simply adore him, even my younger chihuahua, Coco, who went with us for moral support. She doesn't take to other humans easily and is often on guard, but he literally had her eating from his hand before we left. If you need a vet that will see you same day and will help you care for your pet without trying to drain your bank account unnecessarily, then please visit this clinic. They are amazing. Additionally, Mike fosters pets for a local pet rescue center that takes in animals who are on the verge of being euthanized. He does this in addition to caring for his own pets.Read Less

This place is awesome! Which is an understatement. I had the best experience with the veterinarian and that hasn't happened in a looooooong time. Tried to make my dog very comfortable, didn't take my dog out of the room and make her anxiety worse and didn't try to just give me some medicine and rush me out the door. I love the holistic approach also taken and embraces a raw diet along with a kibble diet as well. Very open to what works with the animal and not only one correct way. I am so happy to have found this place and I recommend it to anyone looking for more answers. The staff were equally as awesome and make me feel at home! It may not be the biggest pet clinic, but it definitely is the best in Tucson. I have taken my dogs to several different clinics, but had never been nearly as satisfied as I was at Rosemont. Took my dog there because she was clearly sick. I was very worried because i had never seen her act that way. I chose this vet because it is close to where i work. They suggested blood tests, x-rays, etc. I explained my financial situation and asked for the tests to be done in steps with calls made to me for approval before decisions were made. I received not one call during the day, picked my dog up at 3:30 and was told she was fine, all the blood tests and x-rays were normal, and what a great dog she was. I was upset but kept my cool. They joyously gave me my bill for over SEVEN HUNDRED DOLLARS. Omg. Just to tell me my dog prolly ate something weird. Then, for the next six or so months i received calls about once a week telling me i needed to come back in for a follow up appointment, shots, etc. I also received lots of mail from them. I finally told them to take me off their notification list. Sure, everyone was very nice.....as I prolly paid the rent for the month. Never have I gone back. No thanks! Read Less

I was at my dentist and he recommended me to Rosement Pet Clinic. Dr. Brett was amazing! I brought in my cat Bugsy this week after he had not been eating for a few days, very weak compared to his normal self. I brought him in the afternoon, no appointment needed and he was checked out right away. Dr. Brett explained the situation, took his time with us, and made sure we understood and was comfortable leaving him overnight. His assistant was gentle and I could tell he really cared about our pet. Dr. Brett called me with thorough updates and was always available to talk when I called back.
