Vca Northwest Animal Hospital Ina Road

Tucson, Arizona
General Info
Vca Northwest Animal Hospital Ina Road in Tucson functions as a studio instead of a clinic—managing temperature tone texture and light to direct animal care across Arizona. The initial minutes serve as a time to watch without physical interaction. Staff members observe the manner in which pets investigate corner spaces and react to gentle sounds while also noting how they position themselves in response to movement. The diagnostic flow undergoes real-time customization. During eye examinations if pets hold their breath or react to neck contact by flinching, staff members adjust the visit sequence. Owner input enhances every medical decision through observations of a pet's reaction to wind, their sleep space adjustments, and frequency of initiating home contact. Vca Northwest Animal Hospital Ina Road delivers diagnostic services alongside pain modeling techniques mobility assessments environmental allergy evaluations preventive planning strategies and chronic condition stabilization programs. Animals healing from trauma or excessive stimulation benefit from service division into separate time slots combined with decompression breaks. Time-of-day patterns combined with home social environments influence how results communication and pacing occur. Follow-ups do not adhere to specific dates because they depend on each pet's recovery progress during the post-care period. Owners receive training to detect post-visit anomalies such as room avoidance behaviors combined with reduced stretching motions and delayed vocal responses. The communication pathways remain accessible for necessary adjustments whenever routines modify or symptoms emerge slowly. Vca Northwest Animal Hospital Ina Road provides veterinary services across Tucson and nearby Arizona regions by attending to the subtle signals pets display combined with what their owners perceive during each silent pause between heartbeats and gestures.

Clean facility, nice receptionist, great tech's, awsome doctor! We paid $60 for our exam and $103 for kennel cough meds in liquid form because of our dogs small size, not sure if prices are good or comparable to other places. Follow up appointment was said to be $39 and vaccines run around $15 according to the tech. Our over all experience was great, felt comfortable and trusted our doctor. Most likely will return!! This is the only place I’ll take my dogs as long as I’m in Tucson. The staff have always been stellar. Lately I had a great experience with Dr. Jackson and Ms. Elliott. Both my dogs are medium/large rescues with behavioural issues. NW has never made us feel bad or embarrassed about this. They’re incredibly understanding and keep extensive notes on my dogs to make their experiences as positive and stress-free as possible. Thank you for understanding that these animals have their own thoughts and ideas about things and not every one will be a piece of cake to work with. Thank you, NW Pet Clinic! P.S. The new rewards programme is definitely worth enrolling in! Read Less

Thank you - NW Pet - for all that you do! Your quality of care from your Ina NW Pet Clinic has always been one of the most comforting aspects of my pet care and wellness. From a simple check up - to the complex surgeries performed by all of your Doctor's - compassion / commitment to care / and quality can be found at any of your locations. It all starts by always feeling welcomed by your front desk intake: they listen; they care; and they direct what is needed, when it is needed - in a timely, efficient and organized manner. You listen and hear how important our pets are and then follow conservative, wellness best practices. My family thanks you for bringing quality Veterinary care and convenient services without compromise to our pets and our community. Read Less

Went to the Ina location. Small parking space. Very friendly staff overall. Great service. Had to take my sister's chihuahua terrier in after it was attacked by a larger dog & was seen immediately. Staff was attentive & kept us up to date on his status through everything. Price range for treatment & our options were laid out nicely & discussed before hand. We had the opportunity to question everything on the quote. Pricing seemed very reasonable considering we came in with no appointment or call ahead. Really appreciated not feeling pressured or judged one way or the other during the consultation. I feel as though I got my money's worth overall for the quality of care he recieved. Note, however, that they don't have billing as an option so be prepared to pay the full cost same day. Read Less

After many years of going to NW Pet Clinic, I have nothing but good things to say about the care and compassion they give. They are the best! I have always seen them treat animals with the utmost respect and love. Recently they assisted in the end-of-life care for my beloved cat, and I was so grateful to have Dr. O'Donnell's calm, kind, and steady presence with us throughout. My best friend was given exceptional palliative care so that he could enjoy his final days. Dr. O'Donnell and the staff of the clinic ensured that he had a dignified death, surrounded by the love of his family. I will always be grateful for that, and for the countless other kind things they have done at NW Pet Clinic to bring my pets health and happiness over the years. Read Less

I have been going here since Dr. Lee owned the clinic. APPROXIMATELY 13 years. In the last month been there twice, our dog Toby had cough, tested for valley fever and full blood panel was 700 dollars, had to retest again for valley fever, vet said she couldnt tell is if he had it from.fist test results, 2nd test she said, still was same as first, another 80 dollars, she never addrssed the coughing. Husband said, money grubbing vet practice. Toby still coughing. 2nd visit with 14 year Shitzu, same vet, last week, different dog, she had diarrhea and not eating. Here we go 600, in blood work 5 scripts and she was guessing what was wrong. Umm, wanted to run more teat, had me buy probiotic which was for cats and dogs it alone was 75 dollars, dog was fine 2 days later , and didn't take any of the meds. My husband just said, Toby needs a good vet one who knows what they are doing and not wants to run 1000 dollars in test. We didmt think he had valley fever, only had one symtom. Vet was persistent. We know we have spent at least 20k on our dogs over the years here, I just dont feel confident in their abilities any more, will be finding another vet. Read Less

Brought my furbabies into northwest valentines day, Dr. Goodman and the tech Kara were amazing! Both dogs were treated with the upmost respect. Kara took time to help me with my dog in terms of making them calm for their pet visit and printing out my dogs records so I could have them for reference. My one dog is a breast cancer survivor and she is at risk for tumors, sure enough another tumor was found and Dr. Goodman was very compassionate and helpful with the next step. My dog is already a breast cancer survivor so another surgery is in the works take out this tumor as well. I was not waiting long with all the doggie patients were waiting to be seen. This company is well organized and on top of pet care, they have a pet portal to help with online inquiries and their prices are reasonable for pets without health insurance. I was given a high price quote and a low price quote for her next surgery and we talked more about ways to help my pets and helped them to become up to date on all vaccinations. I'm the one in transition ... never mind my pets! :) I was an original client of Casas Adobes Pet Clinic before it opened, because Dr. Richard Morehouse was my original small animal vet! -- My Mom (retired) and I first moved to Tucson in late 1971, I brought one horse with me from back East. In 1973, we were settled down, I was working, and we decided to get a dog! In the good old days, Blue Cross Animal Hospital was located down the hill on First Avenue, and it was there I met my first equine vet (Dr. Walter Condon) and small animal vet (Dr. Richard Morehouse). Later, Dr. Morehouse built the La Canada location and one of the first to join him was Dr. Bert Blumenfeld, packing his brand new DVM. Those two were like family to me! A few others came and went, but the 'Dynamic Duo' held the fort until retirement came along for both. (I must be 102 years old!) I have two cats now. More suitable for 'this old gal' but a far cry from Labs, foundling mutts, cats, and several horses. -- I'm missing my old crowd, including vets; however, thankful that NW Pet Clinic 'rode to the rescue' like the cavalry. :)Read Less

Read Less

I've been taking our sheltie to the vets here since moving to Tucson. I am always pleased with the vets and all their staff. Their rewards program is very good and helps. As others have mentioned - it is expensive but that's part of having a pet. We just adopted another sheltie and was pleased once again with how they took care of her. I am using a different vet for teeth cleaning as their prices are double of some other local vets. Over all highly satisfied.

I will continue to take all my pets to this company. Great atmosphere! Read Less

:)Read Less
