I lost my sister-in-law due to covid last August. I became the care giver to her old, blind special needs dog. Last Friday her health deteriorated to the point that I had to make the decision to let her go and cross that rainbow bridge. The staff talked me thru the process, let me stay with Copper to the very end and made sure that she didn't suffer or know what was happening. Also it didn't cost me an arm and leg to have her euthanasinized. One vet quoted me a price of $140.00 which I thought was ridiculous. The care and concern they showed me during that difficult time was priceless. Thanks Apple Valley for your help and support.

Their staff are all unprofessional there. We showed up 5 minutes before our 10am appointment. They saw random dogs that came in until 11. When I finally asked when my dog was going to be seen since we had a 10am appointment, they said they had to get all of the walk-ins out of the way first and it could be noon before I got seen since more walk-ins kept coming in. I told them we had an appointment and we should have been seen at our scheduled time and they LAUGHED and said that isn't how it works. Really? That's how it works everywhere else I've been. They said they had a vet out and that's why it was how it was, but that is not excuse for forgoing a scheduled appointment. I took off work to be there at that time that THEY picked to be good for it. At least they were "kind enough" to give me my deposit back.
On the first visit there, doctor Mann slapped my dog because he was nervous and was pulling away. we also have never had fleas on our dog and check him regularly. Three times I have been there with our dog and three times he has left with fleas.
Update: after leaving bad reviews from our experience they called me and told me that I was rude TO THEM and to never come back there. They told me I should not expect my appointment to be honored and that is in fact not at all how an appointment works. wow. they are all unprofessional there apparently.

I took my dog to the veterinary clinic this morning to get her help and instead I got a useless diagnosis that ultimately cost her, her life. She died this afternoon because DR MANN told me she had a upset stomach due to eating to much grass. No DR MANN my dog died due to HGE. She might have been saved had you took the time to actually look at her. But don’t worry her death won’t go unnoticed. She was family and you killed her.

She might have been saved had you took the time to actually look at her. But don’t worry her death won’t go unnoticed. She was family and you killed her.

We have used Dr. Mann for more then a decade. He has always been great to us and our animals. With that being said Doc don't put up with ignorance. If you are doing something stupid pertaining to the care and welfare of your pet he will be quick to tell you about it. Some seem to think it is a poor bedside manner he possess but, it is just a healthy dose of honesty he is delving out. If you want a to be coddled go somewhere else. If you want great no none sense treatment for your fur babies he is the best!

I took my 17 yr old chawennie in to be PEACEFULLY put to sleep. That man murdered my Dog! It would have been more humane to shoot Him! Nothing was given intravenously. He never said what he was doing...
I took my 17 yr old chawennie in to be PEACEFULLY put to sleep. That man murdered my Dog! It would have been more humane to shoot Him! Nothing was given intravenously. He never said what he was doing. Shoved a needle in his hip out of town blue. Then administered another in his hip that hurt him so bad he fought it. He started convulsions that lasted about 5 min. I was screaming and crying and he said that's what happens. He finally administered the euthanasia also not intravenous, he Jared him in his heart, which also caused him to try to fight it even though he was almost dead. I you have a pet that is like a child to you don't look to him for Help! I am still crying because I let my Little Big Man down.

Doc Mann is amazing, hands down. If you want a vet who cares about your pet as much as you do, Doc is the one to go to. He does not have a fancy office, but he will help you with your loved one until he is satisfied, and he doesn't short cut the truth. I went weekly for months because my dog wasn't healing from an abdominal surgery done by an expensive, fancy vet in Beebe. Come to find out the fancy doctor had left a drain in my dog, and after multiple visits to his clinic I felt blown off, and that the vet and staff weren't listening to me and thought I was irrational, not to mention costing over $400 in meaningless antibiotics and laser therapy treatments. I found Doc Mann through a friend at work, and he has yet to charge me a dollar for my visits. You need to get there early to be seen, but I promise-he is worth every second. He and his staff listen to you, and care about you and your pet. Thanks Doc for giving me my best friend back!

Unfortunately doesn't like cats. Didn't realize that until it was too late. Brought my cat in because she was old and incontinent... thinking it may very well be her kidneys. He said no and berated me about her having as couple of fleas. I know my kitty was in a lot of pain and was 18 years old. I VERY MUCH hate to put animals to sleep - but HATE seeing them miserable and in so much pain. His secretary was beyond rude! I didn't feel right about the opinion and it wasn't the fleas!! - after a week or so went to the other vet in Beebe. They said she had kidney failure. Within a few days she passed away. It was too late for them to be able to do anything. I they hadn't been so incompetent, she might be alive today!!! Yes... cheap prices - but inconsiderate, emotionless, uncaring vet! You DO get what you pay for. Had to give one star because you have to.
