I went there because of the good reviews. Turns out, a new owner purchased it 3 days prior to my visit. My cat had breathing problems for 2 years but she managed quite well with it. Went to get her checked out in the afternoon. The doctor gave her a steroid shot. She did no xrays, and the only test she did was the one that tests for like 3 or 4 different things like feline aids, feline leukemia and one or two more things. They were all negative so I really wanted more testing. I was told that the xray machine there was old and I should wait until it was updated to get one. My mother in law was making the payment over the phone and I could pay her back slowly so money for that visit wasn't an issue, so I wanted every test available because I was worried but, no, she just offered the shot. 5a.m. The next morning, we found sweet Kitty Bits, dead, I've the kitchen table. I was distraught. I brought her remains to the clinic and the doctor wanted to test to see if there was fluid on her lungs, which there was not. She offered to keep her remains until I could pay for cremation. In the mean time, I had a serious family emergency and forgot about Kitty Bits until the clinic called. The lady was very kind and I was reassured that they would keep her longer even though I want sure if I could afford the cremation and I may just have to pick her up to bury her. Another week goes by and this time she gives me a time limit, which was fair. I agreed to come that Saturday but I got there too late because I thought they started open later than noon. Totally my fault. I get there Monday afternoon to get her and the front desk lady, who has been so kind and understanding through all of this goes to get her and she is gone. She was told that someone picked up my cat on Saturday but it wasn't me or my family. They then tell me that the cremation service picked her up and she would be cremated and she's does in their garden. She have me the name of the service that does this. I called them. They were confused as they had not picked up there in months but they said they would look into and call me back. The next morning, I her a call from the doctor. She said that I left my cat for 7 weeks (it was not even quite 6, but ok) and so they disposed of her. I asked what did she mean, I was told she was cremated. Mind you, this time the doctor was cold and at the end very rude as opposed the the friendly, understanding doctor I first met. She again told me they disposed of her and that was that. I then asked "did you throw my cat in the dumpster?" And I will never forget the answer, her voice, tone, etc. "No!" Like a child that had been caught red handed. I knew then, they the my cat away. I just said ok and hung up quickly at this point because I want sure I could keep my composure. This doctor was so focused on getting her new clinic going, answering calls, answering questions from staff, doing business related stuff the day of our visit that she didn't do what was best for my baby and she killed her. My cat had been living with this condition since I adopted her and one visit with this lady, one shot, and she is dead less than 12 hours later...and even though it's my fault for leaving her for so long, they threw my cat away even though they assured me they would work with me. The front desk lady had a look on her face that said she couldn't believe they did that and she was very sorry. She looked as shocked as I did. She was the one telling me it was no problem, there was plenty of room, no big deal, just stay in touch, which I did. The doctor never took responsibility for her part in killing my cat. She should have offered to cover the $75 cremation fee but she didn't even offer partial, she just threw my cat away. Read Less
