I have been taking my pets to High Hopes for 9+ years. I have been extremely satisfied and have always been treated with respect. Once in a while they have hired desk people who could get a little rude but, they never stayed long. I have had to have two of my pets put to sleep and they were very compassionate and helped us as a difficult time. I also have my pets groomed there and they have always groomed them exactly as I asked. Several times I have had to make contact with Dr Arnold after hours and he has always been available. He can always tell you what is wrong and never does any unnecessary tests. I have gone to pushy vets who recommend every test under the sun and you spend hundreds of dollars but, that still unable to tell you what is wrong. I have actually had a vet recommend my toy chihuahua have her knees replaced. Dr. Arnold has never been pushy or over the top. He is not talkative but I don't take my pets to a vet for his personality but for the excellent care they receive,

We have been taking our 4 dogs to these guys for years. Always outstanding and excellent service. Even getting my pets in on short notice.

I just tried to make an appointment for my cat to get fixed, and they just lost a customer. Whoever I spoke to over the phone was VERY rude, and I will not be leaving my cat with someone like that. Ho...
I just tried to make an appointment for my cat to get fixed, and they just lost a customer. Whoever I spoke to over the phone was VERY rude, and I will not be leaving my cat with someone like that. Hopefully they aren't as rude to your pets as they were me. Best of luck.

These folks are reasonable and do good work. They brought my cat back from a bad surgery by another more expensive cabot vet. They have very reasonable night and weekend emergency service. They only charged me $10 to put my old cat to sleep when another vet in Cabot wanted $60 to do it. I'm glad I found them.

Thank you all for the comments, this really help me decide not to take my pets to this vet. I was planning to do it and thank God I read these comments. Thanks a lot again. My babies are extremely important to me and I"d never risk their lives with irresponsable vets. I moved to Cabot so he was close to us, but I will continue taking my babies to the old vet Dr. Foster from Foster Animal Hospital, it's located in North Little Rock but it's worthy to take them over there, he's been our vet for years and he is fantastic, it's a small clinic but very nice,specially Dr. Foster he is very kind with animals and very professional as well. I would recomend him a lot.

I had a horrible experience with this vet that ended with the death of a dog. I went to Dr. Arnold for a year because he was convenienttly located. I looked past his dirty, hairy exam rooms. I tolerantly called back dozens of times to get through to the front desk, because they have no call waiting, just busy signal. But I mistakenly brought my sisters mini schnauzer to him for a simple repair of a 2 cm tear in her neck, when she was returned to us, she was over sedated for 2 DAYS. She couldnt walk, eat, or drink. She aspirated while she was recovering and that progressed to pneumonia. After almost $1000 of care and treatment from another vet, she died. This guy is a quack, he doesnt assess the animals, he simply prescribes meds to satisfy the owner. Even when he provides medications, they are given in an unlabeled bottle, no written instructions, with a vague explanation of how to administer. DR. ARNOLD IS WRECKLESS AND IRRESPONSIBLE. Spend the time, money to go somewhere else

I take my two dogs and two cats there and have had a great experience each and every time I go. they are very informative on proper pet care. i was thinking about letting my female dog have one litter of puppies and then having her spayed. while i was in for an appointment somebody had brought a dog in that had to be put down because of mammary tumors, i had no idea there was such a thing, it cost that poor dog her life! when i learned i could reduce her chances of ever having that by like 200 times i scheduled her spay immediately. doctor arnold did a fantastic job im glad he is my veterinarian. Also not to mention every time ive went in it has smelled great been very clean and very nice people! Thank you High Hopes Vet Care!

I was unable to take my dog to her regular vet, so I took her into High Hopes to be spayed. This vet used non-dissolving stitches inside her abdomen. When they didn't dissolve, she started having a reaction. I took her to her regular vet and he preformed emergency surgery on her to remove the stitches. She spent 3 months on expensive antibiotics and was out for an extended amount of time after the second surgery. My dog is a working dog and we could not use her for work for several weeks. I contacted this clinic numerous times in an effort to resolve this horrible situation, but I was never able to talk to the vet. I even sent a letter that was never responded to. The use of non-dissolving stitches inside of her body, and not providing her with antibiotics after the procedure, cost me a substantial amount of money, time, and worry. I would NEVER recommend this vet to anyone.

I have been taking my pets to High Hopes for 9+ years. I have been extremely satisfied and have always been treated with respect. Once in a while they have hired desk people who could get a little rude but, they never stayed long. I have had to have two of my pets put to sleep and they were very compassionate and helped us as a difficult time. These folks are reasonable and do good work. They brought my cat back from a bad surgery by another more expensive cabot vet. They have very reasonable night and weekend emergency service.
