i love the vet here, love the clinic in general, and have been taking my cat here since day one, but have recently made the decision to take my business elsewhere due to the rudeness i experienced from a member on the staff. if i had only encountered her attitude once, then i would have chalked it up to her just having a ""bad day"" (which we are all entitled to) but ive been treated rudely by her on multiple occasions. during three different visits over the last few months (my cat suffers from a chronic condition, and has to be seen frequently, plus i'm a paranoid pet owner), she has given me attitude, acted bothered and annoyed when i ask questions, and generally just made me feel like i was inconveniencing her. i once prefaced a question with ""this is probably the dumbest thing youll be asked all day"" and when i was done she ACTUALLY SAID ""you're right. it was DUMB"" - there have also been several times that i've phoned with questions or to schedule appointments, and if she answers, i'm met with the same attitude that i get in person. i realize that her job is to help take care of the animals, but along with animals come the people that own them (and the people who pay the bills!), so you would that that there would be a level of ""good"" customer service that the assistants should have to live up to at such places. i even thought that perhaps maybe she didnt like me for some reason, and thats why i was treated the way i was, but i have friends who are also clients at pine street, and they have similar stories about this particular assistant. i dont want to name names or point fingers, just warn that if you do go there, you might encounter this one grouchy girl. other than that, the place is GREAT! aside from the previously mentioned assistant, everyone on staff is helpful and they all really seem to love what they do. i wish i could continue going there, but im afraid that until the rude assistant is gone, ill have to take my business elsewhere.
