Came here with a sick dog on our first visit, not the best way to start with a new vet. Very pleased with the thoroughness of the exam by Dr. Lauren and her explanations of what could be going on. Made multiple trips that week for fluids. Staff is quite friendly and caring and made us feel comfortable during our time of concern. Have been back with our other dog. I recommend everyone bringing their pets here. Very affordable and the friendliest staff. We had an emergency situation with our puppy and Dr S gave him the best care possible. Even took him home at night to watch him herself. She has 2 toddlers and is pregnant!! Who does that??? A vet that is passionate about her job. My fur babies love both Doctors Schluterman (husband and wife, Craig and Lauren). We used to go to a clinic where Dr. Lauren was until she took off some time to have her babies. So glad she's back out in the veterinary world! I was delighted when I found her again after floundering around for several years looking for a new veterinarian. We have absolutely loved using Bowman Road Animal Clinic. I always feel that they use professional judgement and offer quality and necessary procedures to our two dogs. I have always been seated back in the exam room within 1 or 2 minutes of arriving and have never felt rushed when asking questions in the back. They take time to answer any of my questions and are always excited to see how everyone is doing. I don't normally leave reviews, but Bowman rocks! I've been to at least 4 vets in the Little Rock/NLR area since I moved here in 2012, and I've finally found the right clinic for my furbabies. I took one of my pups and my cat in for their annuals and checkups this morning and could not be more satisfied. The staff is friendly, fun, and very professional. We just moved to LR and we took our dog here for her shots. Great staff, great Vet and we will to back for future visits. We then took our dog there for grooming and that was a completely different story. The worst job our dog has had. My 3 year old grand daughter cut her own hair with clippers and as you can imagine, it looked bad. That is what my dog looked like. Her hair is gapped up, all different lengths. I started going here when I moved nearby and they have consistently been beyond amazing and wonderful. The whole staff is genuinely concerned with my pets well being and I get a treatment plan with my pets and my best interest in mind. I have a lot of animal experience and Dr schluterman always recommends what is needed and doesn't do things just to run up a bill. This vet started to treat my dog for heartworms instead of retesting her to confirm results (she didn't really have heartworms). Also, if you order prescriptions online, the vet is not cooperative. The first time I tried to order heartworm meds, I had to go back and forth with the vet and pharmacy until we finally resolved that I would pick up the prescription myself and mail it in (very inconvenient). The next time I ordered heartworm meds, I tried to be proactive and pick up the prescription before ordering. The vet would not release the prescription to me and would not respond to the request from the pharmacy. I will never visit this vet again. Go to Banfield, instead. I've never had any issue out of Banfield with ordering prescriptions from an online pharmacy. Read Less

An extremely rude staff, all around... especially the front desk girl. Payment (even if it exorbitant) is expected on site with no billing options. To that end, there is no discussion about the about how expensive procedures might be... just surprise you with a plus 500 dollar doctor bill. Explanations must be explicitly asked for... rarely offered. Overall very poor place. Read Less
