This is by far the best veterinary experience I have ever had. And I have used a lot of vets in the past for the rescue. Not only were they kind to me, but most importantly they were super kind to my boys; who have no idea they are scary looking to some people. They kept complimenting them and saying how sweet they were. Dr. Seminara actually took the time to talk to me, really talk to me and listen to what I had to say and seemed genuinely concerned. He truly seemed to care about their wellbeing. The best part? He won me over when he said, "not at all, I have no problems with these dogs. I never have any problems out of these breeds of dogs." The icing on the cake? He supported my holistic choices, my grain free diet, and didn't try to push the food he sells on me. He supported my decision to supplement with natural and raw foods and gave recommendations on how to do so safely. I am completely blown away. First time in dealing with GM I was very pleased. I called to get my furbaby in due to infection in both ears. The receptionist was very professional and extremely nice and both she and the vet were willing to work with me. I had never been there before and I had a bit of an emergency. After getting the run around from every other vet in town and even some miles and hours away this clinic was suggested (I didn't even know they existed!). They are a BLESSING! I was so worried about my furbaby and they did not hesitate to take him in. The staff there are so nice and incredibility friendly. Its was so unexpected after a horrible day of so much frustration and so many hours on the phone to get my poor kitty seen. I can't express enough how grateful I am for these wonderful people at this clinic. If I could drive there I would give each of them a big huge hug! Thanks to restoring my faith in humanity. I was not pleased by the care that I was provided at GMAH. We just rescued a pit bull mix who was severely beaten, we took her to GMAH and to be spayed and get her shots. She is very timid and scared of new people, so she barks when she sees them and gets scared (as any terrified dog would do). They would not even try to get close to her, even when I told them it was fine to put a muzzle on her. She has never bitten anyone in her life, and yes I am aware that dogs can get scared and bite, but she was only scared and I told them: "just try to get at her level" etc and she can get used to you and smell you. We have only had her for 6 weeks and she is still not used to strangers! She acted just like that towards us when we first got her, and now she is the sweetest dog you could ever imagine, she was just scared. I honestly just feel that they have no sympathy and no sense to try and get a dog used to them or try and comfort a dog or cat. I really am not fond of them and now I remember why my mother doesn't use them anymore. Read Less

We love Dr. Paul and his entire staff, they have always taken such great care of our dogs. However, they do not accept Carecredit...this has made it difficult lately for us to continue going. It gives me no pleasure to write this, but in the interest of animal welfare, I must. My very recent experience here was standard, not exemplary, up until the last 10 minutes of my visit. Then it became grossly insensitive, and so here we are. I asked the Vet/Staff to trim my dog's nails. For some reason, they took him out of the room to do so, and I hear this horrible yelp. Minutes later my dog was returned to my room and he IMMEDIATELY crawled under my bench obviously scared and stressed. I looked at his nails and they were a SHATTERED SPLINTERED MESS. The Vet returned to our room and I immediately mentioned the nails. I asked if that was my dog I heard, and he replied "Yes, he didn't like his nails trimmed." I told him he obviously cut into the pink/sensitive portion of the nail and that he needed a new sharper instrument to trim nails. He told me to take him for a walk on concrete, to file them down. I had faith in this Veterinarian and his staff that they would know how to NOT injure an animal, to prevent it, and to maintain an office staff with the ability to do that. I was obviously wrong. We LOVE Dr Paul and his entire staff!! My dogs have been going to GMAH since they were pups and they are now 12 and 14. They are kind to my dogs and accommodating to my schedule. I have no problems leaving my dogs there to board, either. I know they are well taken care of!Read Less

I have a beautiful spotted tabby named Roxie, I decided to get her spaded at a south little rock animal shelter. That was  a wrong idea! It was cheap and surgery was performed by a licensed animal vet out of Greenbrier. She had a very large bump on her stomach from the surgery and it was "normal" in their practice. About 4 days passed and she was hurting and violently shaking from pain I assume. On top of that, her skin was glued together from the surgery and it had started opening up (very nasty). It was a Sunday and of course the only place open was the emergency vet clinic. When we got there it was an automatic $70 to see the vet and then misc cost of treatment. He took a look at her and said she was in pain. He took off the glue and stitched her up. To reaccomplish the procedure would of cost $500 bucks and he suggested we call a vet first thing in the morning. He gave her pain meds and a e-collar. Well we called everywhere that Monday morning for prices and Green Mountain Animal Hospital was the cheapest, closest & had availiablilty that morning. I took her up there and she imediately went into surgery in the back. Later that day we picked her up and spoke with the doctor. He was explaining to us that he was very surprised her intestines havent bursted out by now, he reaccomplished the surgery to look over the work that the animal shelter had performed. He not only saved her life but also found she had a rupture! Are you freaking kidding me, that's the last time I trust the animal shelter!The clinic is located in a strip mall and isn't going to win any interior design awards. The staff are knowledgable and caring beyond the visit, they called multiple times checking up on Roxie and expressed their concerns for her well being. I have since been back mulitple times with routine visits along introducing another cat to the doctors long list of clients.I would highly recommend Green Mountain Animal Hospital as the first choice, not your last!
