Great staff. Dr. Lavergne is great. My dog was in bad, bad, bad shape - within hours of death -- and after a couple hours of care by the West Rock team, he began to slowly but surely improve and was able to come home after a couple days in the West Rock animal hospital. My cat was severely anemic, which we found out was caused by an auto-immune disorder. After a week of treatment at a different clinic with worsening health, that vet told me to think about putting her down. I heard Dr. LaVergne was a great vet, so I took my cat to Westrock. He was able to save her with at-home medicine and care. I am so happy I took my cat to Dr LaVergne. She is now doing great! Westrock will be our pet-family vet from now on! Read Less

this is a great animal hospital! we took my dog thought she had cancer thank god the doctors there found out that it was just old lady fat that dogs get when they are old! lol..the staff are very respectful and nice i appreciate all of them doing a fabulous job! i rate this 100 stars!!! Read Less

Westrock Animal Hospital has been caring for our precious furbabies since my family and I moved to Little Rock almost 10 years ago. They are all great and have taken good care of our sweeties, who are doing just fine. Dr. Lavergne is a great, very knowledgeable vet, his staff is friendly, attentive, and do their jobs very well. I've been very happy with Westrock Animal Hospital. When my cat I've had ever since I graduated college became ill with a terminal disease I felt I was given all of the information and choices that were available to me. There is a fine balance between being compassionate and giving all the facts about a condition and I felt that balance was carefully maintained by the staff. Anyone knows animal care can get expensive, and with a sick pet it can become so rather quickly... I felt the staff was willing to work with me and prepared me for the costs of my pet's care. Our family recently moved to Arkanasas from out of state. We selected this clinic to take care of our two elderly cats. When we came in for our annual visit, I told the vet that I was concerned for my cat. I provided all the documentation from previous vets, medical problems, and surgeries. They determined that she had a large growth. After discussion the vet and family settled on a course of treatment. It became obvious early on that the treatment wasn't working and the cat was dying. We wanted to be humane, but the staff treated us as if we were going out of our way to be cruel. The vet even gave my husband a dirty look and turned his nose up at him. After they performed the procedure, they immediately took a scan (as if to prove our guilt) to determine the cat's level of illness. Then they sent out a different staff member, who hadn't interacted with us previously, to admit the cat was terminal and couldn't have survived. Our family and beloved cat endured 11 weeks of pain, torment and judgement because the clinic simply wouldn't look at the situation for what it was (a loving family attempting to do right by their 11 year old cat). I have not lived in the Little Rock area for over 6 years, but my mother takes my dog to this facility when my dog is staying in town with her and has always handled any boarding or shots while I was on vacation. I am relocating back to the Little Rock area and am ABSOLUTELY astounded by how terribly this clinic overcharges for every single thing. I had no clue that my mother was being charged such ridiculous prices (I had her pull her receipts) just to get my very even tempered, 6 lb dog's nails clipped or her yearly exam until I got quoted for two different procedures recently. I called over five other clinics and they were all AT LEAST 50% cheaper than the ridiculous quotes I was presented at Westrock. If money isn't an object then feel free to go this clinic, but if you value your hard earned money I'd call around first. Read Less

i had recently moved to this state and i have to say, i've never seen a company treat people the way i was treated! not only did i have to sit in a room and wait for 25 minutes before anyone even so much as asked why i was there, but they charged me an arm and a leg for nothing!!! plus, their staff didn't even greet me as i walked in, i stood there for a couple minutes in front of 2 girls who barely looked at me, and then pointed around the corner and told me to go in there...unbelievable!
