Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic is a full service veterinary clinic offering excellent veterinary care and boarding facilities. We offer a variety of services and pride ourselves on combining years of experience with the latest technology. We are committed to practicing the highest quality of medicine while continuing to provide the best customer service and compassionate patient care for the lifetime of your pet.
We are excited to announce our two new doctors!
Dr. Brent Koonce is a native Arkansan and is excited to be back in Little Rock where he grew up. Dr. Koonce graduated from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville Honors College with a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. Dr. Koonce earned his DVM at LSU Veterinary School. Dr. Koonce enjoys hunting, fishing, camping and Razorback football!
Dr. Allison Graff is originally from Louisiana and attended LSU for undergraduate and veterinary school where she graduated in the top 10 of her class. Dr. Allison enjoys yoga, Spanish, travelling and getting to know her new city of Little Rock.
Dr. Hartford Hamilton opened Pleasant Valley Veterinary Clinic in 1978. Dr. Hamilton attended Oklahoma State University and graduated top 10% in his class and went on to complete an internship at Texas A&M. Dr. Hamilton is an avid fisherman.

Amazing caring staff that not only care for your pet but care for you!! I had to do end of life care for my 16 yr old Pit and they were so respectful of the process. And afterward allowed me time to say my goodbyes privately. Then when I was ready to go, walked me to my car. I highly recommend them for your fur baby's health and happiness from beginning to end!

Brought my pup Barlow in yesterday for an exam and testing and to get a handle on the appropriate means of care, as I am a first time dog owner and had been experiencing some not so good encounters with other vets in the area. OMGoodness the staff was AMAZING!!! They were friendly, humorous, and professional. Brent Koonce is a very personable and meticulous vet. Explained things that the other more commercialized clinics failed to. Very excited to say #myVetBetterThanYours to my friends!!! Looking forward to the relationship with this family!! #myVetRocks

I've taken my dog Lucky to Pleasant Valley twice, and both times the care was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The first visit was when I first adopted Lucky from a shelter. The vet was very nice and answered all my questions. Then last week I had an emergency with Lucky. I called the clinic in a panic, then rushed right over. They took Lucky in immediately and took care of the problem right away. Again, everyone was wonderful to work with. I highly recommend this clinic.

Yesterday I had to bring my dog Tanner in as he was sick but I didn't know how sick. I wondered if it might be time for him to leave this world but wasn't sure. Dr Brent Koonce helped me make the decision that it was time for Tanner to go. I don't know if I knew for sure that it was. And had I known Tanner was so sick I would have brought him in earlier and so regret I didn't. I just couldn't put Tanner through all that he would have to go through knowing it would probably be a short time before he would have to leave me. Dr. Brent and Dr Allison Koonce gave Tanner and me such love and compassion that I will remember forever . I thank you from the bottom of my heart and Tanners heart for guiding him through this older age where his health wasn't good. Had you not I wouldn't have had Tanner as long as I did. Our house will never be the same without Tanner in it but again thank you for taking such good care of Tanner and me. You have a place in my heart forever. I just wish I wouldn't have let finances keep me from getting Tanner help sooner. I will never forgive myself and wonder if it would have made a difference.

I just want to thank Dr. Allison, Dr. Koonce and all the staff at the clinic for taking such great care of Bosley! And thank you so much Dr. Allison for your referral to Memphis Vet Specialist for Bosley's surgery!! It went so much better than expected and they took excellent care of him! We were very afraid he was not going to make it, and you guys went above and beyond! We are very grateful!

I have used this Clinic for over twenty years and was concerned when it was sold, but I can say I have been very pleased with the service and the up grades that have been made. It is even more efficient and both doctors are very good with the animals, treat them well and with care.

Amazing caring staff that not only care for your pet but care for you!! I had to do end of life care for my 16 yr old Pit and they were so respectful of the process. Brought my pup Barlow in yesterday for an exam and testing and to get a handle on the appropriate means of care, as I am a first time dog owner and had been experiencing some not so good encounters with other vets in the area. I've taken my dog Lucky to Pleasant Valley twice, and both times the care was excellent. Everyone was very friendly and nice. The first visit was when I first adopted Lucky from a shelter. The vet was very nice and answered all my questions. Then last week I had an emergency with Lucky. I called the clinic in a panic, then rushed right over. Yesterday I had to bring my dog Tanner in as he was sick but I didn't know how sick. I wondered if it might be time for him to leave this world but wasn't sure. Dr Brent Koonce helped me make the decision that it was time for Tanner to go. I don't know if I knew for sure that it was.
