After doing research, consultations and reading reviews on doggy dental cleaning I decided to have my dog's dental surgery at Agoura Hills Animal Hospital.I walked in on a Wednesday inquiring procedure details, post surgery care and cost. Angie the receptionist was very kind & informative.I booked my dog's surgery for the soonest available which was Friday (2 days after initial walk-in), so a prep of NPO after midnight and an 8am drop off time was given. The morning of surgery I arrived on time, filled out paper work and was out by 8:20am. I was instructed to call at noon to check status and get my dog's pick up time. My dog was ready by 3:30pm. Upon arrival I was called into a room and given detailed information on how the procedure went, given post care instructions and finally got to see my beautiful doggy. *FYI I also received a $100 dental discount*So with everything considered I'm extremely pleased with the professional caring service that Agoura Hills Animal Hospital offered. NOT an exotic vet specialist!!!!!! My bearded was not feeling well. She looked like she might have broken an arm. Staff is professional and kind but I wish I knew the vet was not a specalist. They took x-rays without telling me how much it was. But she needed them so I won't argue that but then they couldn't read the xray to know if there is something there......They charged me 68 bucks for the Vet to not know what she is looking at. Now I have to pay another 60 bucks to take her to my vet, who is an exotic specialist. Vet is kind and she might be a great for dogs and cats Read Less

I have a god-awful Chihuahua that won't let anyone touch his feet; I have never been able to trim his nails (and I have experience), nor has any of the several groomers, or even his normal vet. I have no idea how they did it, but he returned healthy, happy, and with trimmed nails. I was seriously dumbstruck, I fully expected them to return telling me they were unable to restrain him. Terrible place. Terrible service. Rude staff. I'm very disappointed. They charge you first before you get any help. I had an emergency with my puppy and they let me wait OUTSIDE for 40 mins so I went back to Banfield and they took great care of me. Sad to say this but I'd never go back there. AMAZING!!!! They took absolutely amazing care of my kitten. And did an amazing job on his surgeries. Dr. Berry is awesome and I recommend him to anyone who needs surgery for their cats! Thank you so much again for taking such great care of my baby. He was healed up perfectly the day I got him back and acting like nothing even happened! I am a first time pet owner and I took my recently adopted cat here. The receptionists were incredibly nice and helpful! I waited a couple minutes and was called in. The technician lead me through what the first check up would consist of and she treated my cat with so much care.  Finally the vet came and she was amazing! She was quick to come up with solutions to my cats problems and my cat stayed relatively calm through the whole ordeal. Everyone is very kind here. I didn't have a great experience with the doctor though. She didn't really know what to do with my cat. I explained her symptoms extensively and had her records sent over from my last vet, I felt the veterinarian didn't know much. She kept standing there just thinking and then nothing. She didn't say anything about her illness, just through a bunch of meds at me. Very unhappy with my visit. It is hard enough paying for everything so it is so disappointing because the meds have made my cat worse!Read Less

I take all my dogs and cats here regularly. I think it's  a good thing that they are always so busy, that means people like them and they help a lot of pets. Dr. Berry is always nice and honest, most appreciated. Jennifer at the front desk is caring and understanding of my pets needs and makes it her priority to not only help just me but everyone else too. It's not easy to find this level of personal care these days but I sure am glad I have found itat Agoura Hills Animal Hospital! Read Less

I have taken my animals to this place for a lot of years.  Solely for one reason, Dr. Eric Kane.  Today, I found out that he's no longer there and they have deceptively not been out and open about his decision to leave and set up shop down the street.  Shame on you! We will NEVER spend another dollar at your shop.Last few times we haven't even seen Dr. Berry there! Dr. Betty Lobanov is an excellent veterinarian. She did an exam on my dog Bella and you can tell she is very kind and good with all sorts of animals. Dr. Lobanov is also very knowledgeable and she keeps up to date on all new medicines and procedures. I highly recommend her. Read Less

Dr. Berry and his entire staff are among the nicest, most together people and provided us top notch veterinary care under emergency conditions. Our dog was unexpectedly impregnated and had to have a cesarean section. Dr. Berry gave her all of the attention she needed and successfully performed the emergency procedure without a glitch. We felt so much better knowing she was in good hands! And Jennifer at the front desk kept us calm and in the loop every step of the way.
