Alpine is not the most convenient place to have an ill pet!Anyway, they have treated Teddy since he was a pup(neutered him) and were familiar with him(and my other dogs too!I called the office ,seeking an appointment, to be told no one was available.at this point, out of anxiety that my dog would be in pain over the weekend, and I had no one to watch mom,I dared to ask if maybe they could just give me some meds until Monday. This request was met with great disdain and disgust...telling me that because Teddy, their patient had not been in in a year, they could not help.I was not in a position to travel from Alpine with the dog and leave mom alone.so I couldn't avail myself of another vet.Receptionist said,"Doctor could lose his liscense!".I merely was trying to help my dog, at a facility where he had been treated since puppyhood.I was subsequently told by no less than Dr, Hackett himself..."we don't want you to come here anymore". Well, I won't. What do you all think? A little harsh, maybe!!!! Read Less
