On Labor Day weekend my dog Douglas was extremely sick with a blockage in his intestines. No one in my city would take him and the rest were closed. The only place who would perform Emergency surgery was country pet! The dr was very nice and considerate to perform the surgery on his weekend off. I was so thankful for their staff who watched over my Great Dane for 3 days. The surgery was very successful and now my boy is normal and crazy as ever. They don't actually care about animals. Never been to a more greedy vet in my life. First, they don't tell you how much anything is until after the fact. They refuse payment plans and they do a sh*t job. Travel down the 8 to have your animals treated by people who actually care. Read Less

I start by saying I think a one star is still too much of rating.... We had to euthanize one of our babies by the doctors advice a few years ago. We did so and specifically asked if a sedative and pain management would be given to her during this process (which in our experiences is customary and advised ) he urged us he would and there was nothing to worry about. After carelessly having us wait 20+ minutes for him to finally come help us say goodbye to our baby, (he was reading a newspaper in his office!!!) NO pain or sedative was given. When the euthanasia was injected she yelped in pain and he quickly shoved the rest in the her without any care for her life. We have been completely nightmared by this experience. Now we just had to say goodbye to another baby of ours and this time we used at an home Doctor who actually cares about them passing away with pride and in peace. She was the godsend that our family needed€ She used a heavy sedative with pain management before the euthanasia with given. Our little girl was able to pass away very peacefully, and now we still live with the nightmare that doctor Brar (if he's even a real doctor) put upon on our other baby. To go alongside with our experience at this so called "hospital" my neighbors have told me stories of malpractice, unnecessary surgeries being pushed upon them, ear cropping the doctor did not know how to do, animals coming back with different injuries or injuries unseen to a supposed hospital staff and supposed Doctor... Not to mention the stench in this place cannot mean it is clean and disinfected. I live near a former employee who claims to not be disgruntled, but she she has told me she also never used his services because of what she has witnessed. Please be very adviced that this Doctor does not care about your pet, just your payment upon arrival. We have now found excellent doctors and still live in guilt that we ever met this "Doctor" Please please please love your pets enough to not let them go here, I beg you....do not experience or hear of the experiences that I and my neighbors have had. The front desk older lady has a very abrasive attitude and didn't even let me know how much the cost was going to be for my dogs ear crop until after the procedure. The crop job was horrible, even after emailing her a picture and still cut them like inches too long. Charged me 500 dollars after the procedure without letting me know beforehand how much. My girl Sudz was having symptoms of what seemed to be toxic poisoning and something wrong with her mouth. I was scared and panicking on the inside! She is 1 or 4 sisters that I rescued off the street. Her mother, Bubbles, was a stray that I loved and took care of for 2 years before I had to take her, her mama and her kittens to a kitty refuge to live a safe and happy life because she was being abused by my neighbors and their kids. I thought the neighbors had already killed Sudz and her sisters when I took them to their safe place. The next day, something told me to look in this one place I always saw Bubbles go. It was a storage container. I knocked on it and heard baby meows! I dismantled the container to save the babies and then tried to reunite them with Bubbles. Unfortunately, they were unable to take them due to over crowding which I understood. I tried to find them homes, but was unsuccessful. And thank goodness for that! Along with my senior kitty, these girls have been the best things to happen to me! So taking Sudz to see Dr. Brar was imperative since my girls are such a major part of my family and my day to day happiness. I'm always so busy working mostly from home, they think they are my assistants! Dr. Brar was so kind, caring and gentle to my girl. He was also very detailed as to what needed to be done and possibly needed to be done. For everything I was charged, I don't think it was unfair. After all, you wouldn't put a price on your childs life, right? My daughter is grown and I have committed myself to a healthy and loving home and life to my kitties. So that's what I try to give them. And being new to the area and having been to the other vet in my area for my mothers puppy, I think I am the lucky one to have found Dr. Brar :-) And I cannot forget the kindness of his staff! They were all so sweet and helpful! The waiting room also has the sweetest and loving house kitties ever! THANK YOU COUNTRY PET HOSPITAL!!!! My 3 dogs have been patients for Dr. Brar for the past 3 years. Dr. Brar is one of the most thorough veterinarians I have been to. He takes the time to not only examine my dogs but to also listen to my concerns. The office staff are all loving and affectionate to all my pets. I have been taking both my boxers here since they were puppies. Dr. Brar and his staff are amazing with them. I feel safe bringing my pets here because I know that they are going to be well taken care of. My dogs are never scared to go into the vet, they always walk right in with their tails wagging. I have 4 pets, who all at one time or another over the last 10 years have seen Dr. Brar, and have always been satisfied with his diagnosis and after care of my pets. Most recently my dog saw Dr. Brar on 3 separate occasions for 3 separate issues, between Dr. and his staff I saw nothing but compassion and professionalism towards my dog, with thorough exam, xray and sonogram for her stomach issue, and then 2 separate fox tail removals. My cat had a abscess on his check that was taken care of with flushing of the wound and a drain tube put in to get it to heal from the inside and outside, along with several stitches. I was given a thorough report of how the surgery went and complete instructions for continued care and follow up for stitches to be removed.. I will continue to see Dr. Brar and his awesome staff for as long as I own pets!!!! Read Less

NEVER GOING BACK!!! This was the second time I took my dog to get vaccinated there, they informed us we needed to wait a month to get the next set, but never specified that it was a process of multiple of the same kind. Since she missed the date, they had to charge me the first one again, and they started racking up the prices for each month. Additionally, the assistant was very rude when we walked in. Last time we were there, they told us we didn't need an appointment to visit but to take the risk if they were busy. When we walked in, the receptionist greeted my wife with a very rude tone and complained to her about us not making an appointment. After talking the her for 5 minutes, I wanted to walk away already but I decided to just get the first set of vaccinations now and get the follow-ups somewhere else. Go at your own risk, this place is like going to a bad mechanic that wants to get your money for minimum work and rack up prices that don't even exist. As doctors, they should educate you and tell you what is going on and not give you terminology that you are not familiar with. When I ask for an explanation of what I was listening to, they seem like that it is too much to do it and start giving you attitude. STAY AWAY!!! Read Less

Absolutly AWEFUL! I took my dog in for a UTI last December and I was told she had a tumor in her belly. The doc proceeded to tell me that we had to do emergency surgery for $2500 just to see what the tumor was, not even to remove it. My husband and I paid the $750 diagnosis/xray fees and took our dog home to discuss our options. 2 days later, on Saturday morning, I got a phone call from the vet telling me that if I did not bring my dog in for surgery that day she would die by Monday. Well, here we are 7-1/2 months later and she is still here. She is to the point that we are considering when to put her down but Coutnry Pet Clinic will DEFINTIELY not see her again. She is 13-1/2 years old and does not stand to gain any quality of life by an invasive surgery, if she were even to survive it at all. This plase is all about abusing the fact that people love their pets to cash in on procedures that are not in the best interest of the pet or owner. I wouldn't take any animal to the ever again.
