Our goal at Katella Animal Clinic is to provide quality health care while providing a pleasant experience for both you and your pet.
We can handle all of your pet care needs from a simple bath or a bag of food, to a major medical emergency. Our services include internal medicine, dentistry, dermatology, surgery, and spaying, neutering and preventative health care including low cost vaccinations.
We provide home office calls and private transportation if needed. We also offer early morning drop-off service, evening hours and pet boarding. Our medical equipment utilizes the latest technology and includes ultrasound, in-house laboratory diagnostics and microchip ID insertion. Please come to visit us!

I took my dog ..Cogniac here for a continuous ear infection. Dr. Park was extremely understanding and helpful. He addressed other issues about my dog that other vets could not figure out. I give this place an excellent review. Also, I was actually shocked at the amount of the bill being as low as it was. We all know how hard it is when we cant afford to help our pets. You will definitely find his prices totally reasonable.

Dr. Park is honest and sincere. He listens to your story, exams your baby carefully, and will respect your decision. He is different from the ones who over charge you for money. I can tell this from my own experiences.
======= Before visit =======
Wait time is long. There’s only two doctors: Dr. Park and Dr. Wong. So bring a book to read or have something with you. This is not an emergency vet.
I highly recommend you to make an appointment. You still have to wait, but walk in takes definitely longer.
If you are new and want to see Dr. Park, ask them you want to see him.
Exam fee is $22. Low cost vaccinations on Wed&Sat.
======= My story =======
My boy, Adrain Lavi, has been suffering from UTI. It’s so weird because I always give my babies both dry and wet food. My boy needed to be hospitalized for so long time. I worried really a lot for many reasons. Financial issue, of course, was one of the headaches. I was mostly anxious about hospitalizing my boy.
He is a cat and is very sensitive-VERY. He did not like to stay at my previous vet and they gave him a nickname, “the spicy one”. They weren’t able to handle him, so I needed to get in there to pick him up.
For that reason, I warned Anaheim staff members that he can be very spicy. Nevertheless, they said he was doing totally great and was never “spicy”! It was quite amazing for me to see him coming out calmly from the back facility.
Welcome back my baby! I missed you so much 😭💕 Thank you for taking a good care of him!!

Mara, my little boy is fighting against (may indicates) FIP infection.
My primary vet wanted me to give up and let him go as his time comes when all I ask was to drain the fluid out from his abdomen. I am not begging to save him. However, I want him to be free from ascites. Since his abdomen was filled with fluids, he was having a difficult time moving around and eating. I have two more cats and am working, so it’s tough for me to monitor, but I had a feeling that he wasn’t able to 💩 for long time. My other vet told me it wasn’t the issue, whereas Anaheim vet mentioned his bottom was filled with 💩 (and gave a med for it).
I’ve been calling and researching which vet could listen to me and do my favor. I am blessed to found out about this place. Vet bill is very merciful.

If you have an emergency situation or it seems emergency, don’t bring your baby here! Take him/her to emergency vet. This is a regular vet. I read some of reviews and noticed about it.

Very disappointing on three separate occasions. I called twice and visited the clinic in person to retrieve my cat's ashes. I even had a tracking number for them and the receptionist would not take...
Very disappointing on three separate occasions. I called twice and visited the clinic in person to retrieve my cat's ashes. I even had a tracking number for them and the receptionist would not take the information and said she confirmed the ashes were not there. I will never ever take my animals here again. They promise to call you back with information and don't. They prescribe medication and then find no record of the prescription written by the vet. I would call it a three-ring circus but its not that entertaining.

They moved! And didn't tell us. So after GPS sent us to the wrong end of Magnolia, I gave them a call. All I wanted was cross streets. I was immediately put on hold. Not even asked "can you please hold" just put on hold. And there I stayed until eventually finding the new office on my own. When we walked in, reception was not busy on another line, nor were they helping anyone in person. And still the automated hold music said my call was very important and they would be right with me. After pointing out I was STILL on hold with them, they made excuses about being so busy and short staffed. We do have an appointment, but we're obviosly late so let's see how long we're punished. Hopefully the Dr visit goes much better.

The Dr. is very nice and pretty thorough, but his office WAY under staffed. We will not be returning. Oh, and forget about trying to get through on the phone. Put on hold for eternity.

I have been going to this vets office for about five months now and I couldn't be happier. Both doctors are extremely kind and helpful, and so are the attending nurses at the front desk. The wait times do tend to be a bit long on their busier days however these veterinarians are worth the wait. Not only is this an inexpensive office it is also a caring office. Dr.Licciardo takes care of both my pets, and she is always so knowledgable, kind, and patient with my millions of questions. The other Doctor, whose name I can't remember he's an Asian gentleman, is also very patient and knowledgable and kind.
As for the pit bull incident, I was being helped by the at the time and as awful as it was it's not the offices fault that the puppy was attacked by the pit bull, the office took all necessary measures to ensure both pets and owners were taken care of. Dogs can be very unpredictable.

My beloved french bull dog Abby had been seen here on multiple occasions and was constantly treated very well until the end of her days. The staff is super professional and completely vested in the well being of your pet. They treated my girl with the utmost dignity in the last moments of her life and for that my family will be forever grateful. In my opinion, this hospital is top notch and I would not hesitate in recommending them to a new pet owner.

Walk in visit went well. New patient bonus meant that the pet checkup was free. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Doctor Park was an effective communicator and was able to determine the cause of my cat's fever quickly and prescribed the needed solution without hesitation. I paid $96 dollars for a full package of medicine and administration tools and I find that to be very reasonable. I am very satisfied with the service I received.

Our 4 month old bull dog puppy was bit by a pit bull in their own lobby!

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!
Our 4 month old bull dog puppy was bit by a pit bull in their own lobby!
The vet did not take our puppy into surgery until 7-8 hours later, saying they had other dogs scheduled ahead of him and they only have one surgeon. We told them we didn't bring in our puppy like this, it happened on their own premises in which they replied "It's Unfortunate!" The only they gave our puppy pain pills until they treated him at 6pm that evening.
This happened approximately 10am on Friday, 3/13 and he wasn't treated and released until 7pm. They did not even bother to take any x-rays of his face and I doubt this incident was reported to Animal Services!
Our puppy was scheduled for a follow up appointment on 3/18, but we will not be taking him back there. We requested his medical records to take to a more professional vet and they refused to provide his records.
Shady Vets and unethical practices which will be reported!!!
DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS TO THIS PLACE!!!

Not even asked "can you please hold" just put on hold. And there I stayed until eventually finding the new office on my own. Walk in visit went well. New patient bonus meant that the pet checkup was free. The staff is very efficient and friendly. Doctor Park was an effective communicator and was able to determine the cause of my cat's fever quickly and prescribed the needed solution without hesitation.
