Brought my Golden Retriever in for a diagnosis of an ongoing issue. They quickly found the cause and started treatment immediately. All our questions and concerns where addressed, patiently and succinctly. The staff was warm, friendly and caring. While I wish that Muddy Waters’ Mannish Boy wasn’t sick, knowing that these medical professionals are treating him has assuaged my worries. Friendly staff, clean facilities, and most importantly - the Veterinarians there take the time to talk to you and explain everything they found concerning your pet. Only place I take my fur babies. Everyone is always so nice. For a vets office, it doesn't stink and is not dirty. They explain things very clearly. Doctors don't force you to do anything and they will give you their opinions on things instead of just shutting you down. For example, My dog is 11 and is 85 lbs. He has arthritis in his right ankle. The doctor brought up some chondroitin medicine that they have a prescription for and I told him what I buy my dog from amazon and he said that was okay. He didn't tell me no and that I need to buy his meds. My dog also has a sun allergy and instead of forcing a cream they just suggested to watch his sun intake and he will be fine. Read Less

The people at Apple Valley Animal Hospital are all very kind, professional, empathetic people with a heart for what they do. I've brought my animals here for years, whether it be for surgeries, or for the unfortunate event of putting an animal down. I came here about five years ago to put my old dog down, he was 15, arthritic, near blind, and had lost his appetite. The people here understood and agreed it was the right choice to help him out of his pain, and both the nurse and the veterinarian who performed the procedure were fantastic. We were allowed to be in the room with him and hold him as he slipped away, and the vet even allowed my mother and I to stay with him for a while after he had passed, simply to say goodbye. I have a heart for the professionals here, and I appreciate what they do for our furry companions.Read Less

All the other one stars must have spoke to Silvie or the other one !!! I love dr Jessen and I'm sad saying this .... And sad leaving as he is the best vet and Introduced us to Charlie ... But If you like RUDE OFFICE MANAGERs!!! and you're no longer rich .. also one vet there ... not Jessen misdiagnosed my dog ...dr Jessen had to fix her and he knows her background .. You would think the other vet could read and see what she had going on .... Dr Jessen did help her ... after I wasted 400.00 whith the lady vet .. Also I told the TECH ... when my Masiff was to be spayed her rear was hanging to low and to big and needed to be addressed...The first estimate was $300.00 Then $500.00 on week later because she gained 5lbs? before she was spayed the tech never told the vet about her pooch by her cooch !! Last year I'm told "we Can fix that !?" 500.00 ? Um ! I told them 3 Years ago when she was spayed and I have photos of her rear she looked male (if you get my meaning ) so they did nothing becuse the tech couldn't tell the difference between an English mastiff and a NEO mastiff ! . IT Was "ok" until I was diagnosed with cancer .... On disability now ... Silvie and the other lady that works there the "head staff" she's always yelling at me "I've been here 17 years" my dog needed her Meds and they will fill 2 weeks if I pick them up there and not use the on-line vet Meds that are 1/4 of the price ? Really ? the Jessens know nothing about this!!!! It's sad ....as as I've been a taking my dogs there that I rescue since the late 90s .... when I was rich I was welcomed .. Now ? She tells me "figure it out " really ? So I did ! I found a new vet ...25.00 for a visit and they don't rip your head off they're compassionate ! I!(like the tone reviewer said they're nice to the dogs but not to the owners ask for one thing ! And nope ! I mean the staff !!! Only two of the head women !!!! To bad they have such rude people running their office into the ground ! Wait a year and I'll get a discount sent .. They're done it ! But they're not a Charity??? Who said I wanted free service ??? I couldn't get a word out !! "I need to get paid " the chick says on the phone ? I hope the Jessens don't condone this!!! I do love the Jessens .... I'm no longer getting berated by the staff !!! those two woman ! Accusing me of not taking care of my dogs ? Seriously ?!' I won't eat so my dogs can be treated ! I've spent at least $2000.00 in the last two years there ! Amazing ! Go there but don't expect the staff to care if you have a life threatening illness all of a sudden... you're struggling ! The doctors, especially Jensen, and the assistants are the most humane people. Dr Jenkins saved our lovely Pit Bull when she tore a ligament in her leg and when she cut open her chest trying to climb over our fence. I highly recommend them. I could easily wish that doctors who treat humans were as caring, compassionate, and thorough. They also have really good coffee. Read Less

I brought my dog in to have his infected front left paw treated. The staff were very professional and concerned to make sure that they were able to give my dog the best possible care. They were courteous and considerate assuring me that not only did my dog get the best possible Vet care but that I was comfortable and satisfied at every step of his treatment with their processes as they treated him. I completely trust the level of care that they offered my dog and heartily recommend their Vet services to anybody looking for an amazing Vet and Staff that they can trust with their pets care.
