Everyone at Aptos Creekside Pet Hospital are very friendly and professional. They strive to meet every need including getting your pet in as soon as possible and making everyone comfortable during the visit. I really like that the vets provide very comprehensive information about my pet's health, illnesses, and treatments. I have been going to this facility for over 10 years and have brought so many animals that were mine and friends to this vet. George hall was the best!!!! he is no longer at this facility however, which was the last reason i continued to go back. Naomi is not thorough. i brought my dog there and he had two fox tails in his eye she only found one and had to return multiple times because he was not getting better because there was still a foxtail in his poor eye!! i brought my second dog to her years later and during her exam as a puppy she missed her chipped baby tooth which could have led to an infection!! the only reason i found out about it was we came back for shots and Dr. hawklyn examined her and saw her tooth was chipped and she said i had to have it removed asap. Lastly, When i went in to have my dogs growth on her eye looked at George gave me an estimate and 2 months later i called to make an appointment for removal. George had sadly already left. :( they said we had to make another appointment for another exam. We went in and i assumed they would be understanding that we had already had this exam for removal and that they wouldn't charge me due to the situation of our dr. leaving. we left the appointment with no mention of charge. we returned to have her surgery which was a higher estimate than what george originally gave, then we came back to have her stitches removed. I got a bill in the mail for the exam days later! i called confused and she said it was already paid for....except there was nothing on our receipts and no mention that there was a charge or that we were paying for it..so when was it paid for? they just throw it on our already $700 surgery bill?? Not only that but Shelly who i had to call to get clarity on the charge immediately was extremely rude before i even talked to her...i called them and they said i had to talk with her about the situation. she called my phone and left me an extremely rude message immediately sounding defensive about the charge. so i already was pissed about it because she felt the charge was justified. SO unbelievable to have somebody with no social skills deal with the public and especially with somebody who was clearly dissatisfied with the service she only made it worse by provoking me and making excuses for the "new staff" there is no excuse for charging me for something and not ever mentioning when i had been back to the office multiple times. There is NO excuse for immediately making up your mind that you are right and my complain is not valid. Fuck this place and that bitch ended up hanging up on me saying "well we don't want you to come back" thats fine...as i told her on the phone I WILL NEVER BE RETURNING! Vets are expensive and to throw in an extra 50-100$ without telling me is unacceptable. And not accommodating me for my vet leaving is not ok after 10+ years of spending thousands of dollars there. She kept saying "but it was an exam!!! why didn't you realize you would get charged for an exam??" well maybe because I ALREADY HAD THE EXAM FOR THE SURGERY and i HAD to get another one because my vet left. Fuck that, EXTREMELY disappointed in their customer service. Shelley is the WORSTE!!!  and i Do not wish upon her awful cold hearted service to anyone dealing with valid complaints and concerns. She couldn't have been less helpful she couldn't have been less understanding and She is horrible person to have in that position. I  have never been so upset in my life by any service. DO not go here. there doctors have all rotated out and new ones keep coming, their receptionist always change and mess up basic paper work..like updating my phone number!!!  They are remodeling the facility as well...im guessing somebody bought the place out...why else would all the good doctors leave??? even when i asked why my dr was leaving they didn't have anything to say. THEY SUCK so sad because i used to trust them and have been going for so long...so sad and frustrated i have to find a new vet. Read Less

Dr K met with us today to discuss the heath/needs of our 13 year old Lhasa-poo Hairy. She was very thorough, professional and friendly.   She was very knowledgeable and gentle with our pet. We were very pleased with the care she gave Hairy. Dr K gave Hairy lots of attention and it is obvious she has a great love for animals in her care. Read Less

I've been coming here for 6+ years even had great experiences with the old crew and Dr.Siri, but I feel the new staff is lacking. I came in with a basic problem and gave them 3 things to check on as well ..... They never checked my dogs freshly grown cysts and they could have just used medical records to see the medication need for his skin issues after I've said its the same annual skin issues as before. I refuse to pay for more tests/visits because the Dr. Kirschenbaum isn't willing to use the medical records she inherited from my former vet.... I know this place is more expensive then others locally and was willing to pay more and drive 3 hours for non emergencies, but after my last visit I'm quite disappointed. These seem to be good people who love and care for our pets but overlooked some key elements to my visit, which leads me to believe they could make more serious mistakes in the future. Read Less

I have been using Aptos-Creekside Pet Hospital for over 15 years (4 dogs and 1 cat). Dr. Hall has been my primary Veterinarian the entire time. He is very down to earth--great people skills, and extremely knowledgeable. Nothing---no disease, injury, bug, diagnosis--gets past him. No matter what seemingly mysterious ailment is affecting my pet, I am confident Dr. Hall will figure it out.An extra big plus: Dr. Hall is the most compassionate Veterinarian I have ever met. Euthanizing a pet is never easy--but Dr. Hall handles it with aplomb. I can't imagine how an end of life situation could be handled better. Read Less

Really nice staff and my Vet was great.  I did the puppy package and all went well.Then it came time to do Spay, microchip, baby tooth removal etc.  These guys are really expensive.  The microchip, $68.00.  Other Vets in area charge 30-40 and the shelter will do it for $15.  My final spay fee and tooth removal at another Vet was half what this place quoted.  I really wanted to use them but I don't like being overcharged so much. I can't say enough about this wonderful vet hospital. Both dr. K and dr. Hall are amazing, compassionate vets. When it was time for my beloved Oliver to pass on, Dr. Hall came to my home and allowed Oliver to die on my bed in my arms. He was so kind and made it possible for my baby to cross the rainbow bridge in peace, which I will be forever grateful. It has been well over 16 years that my animals have been taken care of by the sincere professionals at Aptos-Creekside Pet Hospital.  Dr. Kirshenbaum , Dr. Hall and all the vets in both Soquel and Aptos, have always taken the time to ensure everything has been addressed and never are they rushed or dismissive of my questions.  They are very gentle and knowledgeable.  My animals are treated with compassion and the Vets and staff have been completely supportive when I have had to make the difficult decision to euthanize a beloved pet.  I could not ask for more.  My cats have had surgery and complicated dental care and this, too, was handled with skill and attention to detail.  They make sure that my animals are comfortable during all necessary procedures and I am always well informed.    The office staff and technicians are caring and very competent.  They follow up after a visit and I have always had excellent continuity of care.  I trust them with my fuzzy angels.    Vet care can be expensive but this clinic goes out of their way to keep costs reasonable.  I cannot say enough wonderful things about everyone.   If you are looking for complete and affordable care for your loved one, please look no further.
