They saved my Trixie May's life.  My dog was so miserable and I brought her to 4 other clinics and nothing worked.  Until the wonderful Hailie and Dr. LaRue asked me to let them give her another medication and it worked and she is doing well!   Dr. Settlemore and Dr. Chandler and Jade and the other techs are great too.  Trixe May gets a bath treatment once a week there and the best loving care by the technicians.  I cannot thank them enough   I drive an hour to get there and it's worth it.  They put the animals first.  They are the BEST. Although I rate Bowman Veterinary four stars, I won't be back. They've always taken care of my dogs, they're professional and have reasonable rates. The problem is, when I had them give my dog her rabies vac this last time, they mentioned nothing about what must be a new policy of reporting it to the county, thus alerting them of ownership. I don't register my dogs. I live on acreage and my dogs don't leave the property. In my opinion, pet registration is a useless expenditure that does nothing for me or my dog. I can't do business with people like that, so I won't be back.Read Less

When my dog Lily had surgery a few years back, they called everyday to see how she was going. They way they interact is so kind even to me when I found out she had a heart condition. I love them. They are worth the 40 minutes to get there. Read Less

Dr. Chandler and Kominek have provided my special needs Mastiff with excellent and compassionate care for the last 5 years. The treatment they gave( to my lame, and aggressive english mastiff) has been nothing less than excellent. . My beloved dog is now 8 yrs old despite his bilat. hip dysp., back, & hock abnormalities.I am certain my mastiff would not be alive today without their care. I should also mention another dog I had with addisons disease, he lived until 91/2 due to the care he received from Bowman. I will always use them for all my pets. I am very protective of my pets, this is why I continue to drive 2 hours to have my pets seen here!  Dr. Kominek is patient with all of my strange questions, and worries. The staff here is always willing to squeeze us in, and treat my 2 dogs and cat like they are angels!! My husband and I would never take our pets anywhere else. We are lifers!!! The only place I'd take my dogs! We've been going to Bowman Vet for about 10 years with 4 dog over that time. The doctor is incredible, knowledgeable and super caring.
