We took our Standard Poodle, Sugar Magnolia, to Bellflower Pet Hospital in early September of 2017. Maggie was hit by a car a few years ago, and she now has a bleeding disorder. The hospital that treated Maggie after she was hit--not Bellflower Pet Hospital--gave her a common antibiotic that gave her a bleeding disorder. She was fine for about two years, then one day, she started bleeding from her vagina. It was pretty significant. We took Maggie to Bellflower Pet Hospital, and they took amazing care of her. The doctor is very caring and sympathetic--you can tell that he really loves animals. The nurses were kind and genuine. I felt a very real and almost tangible compassion and kindness from everyone there. Long story short, the doctor gave Maggie a round of a mild--I don't know the technical name--chemotherapy-type drug. After two rounds, we have a happy and playful dog again. Is she cured? No, but we have more time with our baby. What more can you ask for? And, best of all, she is a healthy 12 year old dog who has an incurable disorder. She is good. :) Read Less

Very knowledgeable and compassionate doctor. Have been a long time costumer and seems this review is long overdue. What brought me there in the first place, was an emergency for my dog. This is the easiest experience ive ever had with any veterinarian. The prices here are more than reasonable and my poor baby was diagnosed within 30 minutes the staff is so nice and friendly and so is the veterinarian. They were very gentle with my furry baby and showed that they genuinely cared about his health! I would recommend this veterinarian to any and all in bellflower! Great service over all! Read Less

Best doctor I’ve found around by far tribe evening pet clinic but all the Vca Petco Petsmart all the different doctors around this guy is honest reliable and very reasonably priced I would definitely recommend him for all your animals and all their needs. We bread Labrador retrievers and they are very knowledgeable and has not let us wrong yet. Read Less

Where do I start? Affordability, since most of us consider that a priority. Call around and no other clinic will be able to match their prices. A set of puppy shots is $19 and you're in and out in 5 minutes. This clinic's staff is compassionate and go above and beyond to comfort your pet. Rebecca is sweet and so helpful. I felt at ease leaving my foster pups there for their neuter surgery. The clinic is clean, the staff is efficient, and their prices are competitive. I had a great experience here with my cat, Sammy. I called in asking for more info about spaying my kitty and the person who answered my questions was very sweet and very informative and totally transparent with me about pricing. After speaking with her I brought Sammy in the next day to get spayed. I dropped her off at 8:30 and picked her up after 3. The nurses were so nice to Sammy and Dr Choi was very kind and knew not to push when she was stressed. Sammy is still recovering from surgery but she's getting better each day. I had a referral to a BIG vet outfit in town, but when I called they did the quick pick up/hang up trick on me.   Off to yelp, I found Bellflower Pet Hospital nearby and got an appointment quickly.I was VERY happy with the service!   Got to take my scared kitty straight into a private exam room so she could calm down and settle in before her exam.   The doctor has been very helpful each visit, offering simpler or more aggressive approaches to health concerns.  Outcomes have always been good, including when my beloved kitty had a dime-size infected hole in her side.   Today I brought in the wild stray I've been feeding who had an infected eye; she was angry and aggressive in her trap-cage but the Dr took this in stride and got a prescription written smoothly.The building isn't new-fancy-expensive, which means most of your veterinary dollar goes directly where it belongs- to the care of your pet.Strong recommend, from me, Meowquestionmark-Fjordkisse, and now P23! This is the WORST hospital ever. 4 days ago i took my guinea pig to the vet because he was really sick , the doc told me all he needed was vitamin c and gave me medicine , my poor baby didnt even want to eat still. So i took him again the next day and he saw him again because he was acting strange.The same day i took him he told me he didnt see anything wrong with him , later on i knew their was still something wrong my guinea was acting even more strange i took him to another vet and they told me he had a head trauma and he passed away yesterday. Its expensive , the doctor obviously does not know anything so i do not recommend because of them my world DIED. Read Less

This is a new Vet hospital that opened in Dec 2011 and i was told that it was a vet hospital previously, but now the place is under a new Veterinarian. It was my first time visiting, service was excellent and the place is clean and hospitable. I stumbled upon the hospital on Google and decided to give them a try and now i'm a satisfied customer. I brought my dog in for a check-up because he was a bit lethargic, and the Vet told me all the necessary precautions i must take and they even gave me a discount on stomach meds.
