Dr. Rains and staff take very good care of my little dog! She developed a wound on a Sunday night in February, and Dr. Rains saw her the very next morning to treat it!
He treated it and gave me antibiotics and care instructions. I was supposed to go back in a few days for her follow up, but got snowed in.
Dr. Rains called me ON HIS DAY OFF to check on her, and coached me throughout her treatment and reviewed photos I emailed to the office of her healing progress.
Thanks to Dr. Rains and the staff at Arrowhead Animal Hospital, my girl was healed completely in less than two weeks and has been her happy healthy self ever since!

I have been taking my cats to Arrowhead Animal Hospital for years. There's nothing wrong with the veterinary care but I'm switching to Rim Forest Animal Hospital, the main reason being their reception...
I have been taking my cats to Arrowhead Animal Hospital for years. There's nothing wrong with the veterinary care but I'm switching to Rim Forest Animal Hospital, the main reason being their receptionist Terry. She talks to me as though I'm a low life who doesn't take care of my cats. Which is extremely insulting considering I'm a huge animal lover, I've worked as a vet technician & my cats are like my children. I don't know what I've ever done to be treated like that. I've even brought in strays to be fixed or looked after. The other problem is they make appointments & then when I call to confirm the time they can't find the appointment. Yet I'm spoken to like I'm a pain in their ass & they want to be rid of me! Well they're rid of me!! If you want to be treated like a human being, DON'T GO HERE!

I called this vet hospital for two appointments in the last week and they got me in quickly both times despite being busy. Leslie at the front desk asked questions and helped to identify my one cat's issue over the phone and was very kind, making me feel less stressed. The staff and the doctor were awesome and got my pets the medication they needed. I am so thankful they were available and generous with their time so that I didn't have to drive further away. The prices were very reasonable. I am a local in this area and this will be my new Vet Hospital.

Worst experience ever! My dog had all her vaccinations and they refused and wanted to revaccinate her to increase my bill. Total BS. Filing complaint!

This is an excellent clinic with warm caring people. We took our kitty there for an eye obstruction. The vet was very efficient and removed the foxtail, prescribed antibiotics and later called us to check in on our pet. We were not over-billed and felt the price was very fair.

Wow.....My usual vet had already looked at my puppy the day before I went here and they sent me home and said it was probably worms or parvo. Now.......I'm not an expert but I knew she didn't have parvo and worms just didn't fit for me either and I told my regular vet this but she was still insistant it was one of them so they pumped her full of fluid and antibiotics and a nice chunk of change from my pocket. I got no medication and told to go home and results from the ""tests"" will be in tomorrow. Well.........tomorrow came and my lil puppy was almost DEAD!!!!! She was cold, couldn't move and I could barly see her breathing in and out.I called my vet again, who doesn't want to come in til 2, and got referred to Arrowhead animal hospital. My regular vet said they would fax over her file to Arrowhead. We got to arrowhead and they had no fax but luckily I called to give em a heads up. They took my puppy in the back and 20min later the doctor ask's us into the room.I thought she was dead. He told me she is hypoglycemic and it is extremly common in her breed (chihuahua) so thats the first test he did and sure enough here comes my Princess in the room ears perked up tail waggen and almost back to normal. I cried tears of joy. All she needed was a lil sugar. The unsettleing part is that my ""usual"" vet should have known what tests to do.They almost took her life by doing round about test that could have waited while more important breed specific testing was done.I got treatment, advice, rx and a new vet for less than 1/2 of my other vet. Great customer service too! Princess is back and better than ever.

Dr. Rains and staff take very good care of my little dog! She developed a wound on a Sunday night in February, and Dr. Rains saw her the very next morning to treat it!
He treated it and gave me antibiotics and care instructions. I was supposed to go back in a few days for her follow up, but got snowed in.

I called this vet hospital for two appointments in the last week and they got me in quickly both times despite being busy. Leslie at the front desk asked questions and helped to identify my one cat's issue over the phone and was very kind, making me feel less stressed. The staff and the doctor were awesome and got my pets the medication they needed. I am so thankful they were available and generous with their time so that I didn't have to drive further away. The prices were very reasonable. I am a local in this area and this will be my new Vet Hospital.

This is an excellent clinic with warm caring people. We took our kitty there for an eye obstruction. The vet was very efficient and removed the foxtail, prescribed antibiotics and later called us to check in on our pet. We were not over-billed and felt the price was very fair.
