We are new members of the clinic's family. I chose the term "family" with care, because from the second we arrived, we felt welcome and our extremely cranky, very sick, elderly dog was at ease and acted like a happy puppy around the office.Even though the office is often bustling, we always feel well attended, and our dog's health and well being are paramount. The positive vibe in the office is palpable, and the facilities are pleasant, clean and comfortable for both the humans and animals.The support staff are all professional and caring and act as a team whose focus is on the patients and their families. Dr. Tyneway is particularly thoughtful and skillful with our grumpy, growly 14 year old Malinois, Sasha. We appreciate her wholistic approach to the care of Sasha, which is a breath of fresh air for us, having come from a conventional vet. The alternative forms of care have made a huge difference in the life of Sasha. By employing a progressive, multi-modal approach to Sasha's care, Dr. Tyneway has changed the course of our beloved pet's life; Sasha's attitude is sunnier, her pain is well managed, and she's more mobile.Our praise, however, is dwarfed by the appreciation Sasha heaped upon the doctor: after Sasha's first appointment, while we were leaving, Sasha turned around and walked straight up to Dr. Tyneway and nuzzled her hand.
