Dr. Ban is a fantastic surgeon. He removed a cyst on my cat's front leg and was very careful not to cause trauma to the major vein adjacent to the cyst. She also had a dental cleaning done that day. Its been almost a month since surgery and everything has healed incredibly well. Read Less

It was hard for me to find a vet office that will be understanding of my dog, Boomer, who gets overly anxious and sometimes aggressive. Friday the 5th of May 2017 I went to the see Dr Ban. I had a 13 year old lab. I took him in for an end of life visit. My dog was not doing very well. I new it was the end. Dr Ban and his staff were wonderful. They talked me through the entire procedure and I felt that they had not only my best interest,  but the best interest of my dog. They laid out all of the options. In the end I decided to let my dog go and Dr Ban and his assistant were wonderful. They really do have empathy for the human and the pet. I brought my cat here as she had a runny nose and was coughing. I was told she had a breathing desease a needed xrays and blood work.  $500 later she was cleared and sent home with antibiotics and no desease.  They are very nice but when some tells you they are sure about something and it costs you that much money it leaves a bad taste in your mouth for thinking about returning in the future. I'm sure an office visit and some pills would have been much less than $500. Read Less

All the staff are genuinely sweet and helpful!Dr. Ban is also very nice and takes his time to explain what you need to know about your pet's prognosis.Compared to other veterinary offices that charge you up the nose for everything, Rosswinn Pet Hospital's prices are pretty reasonable. I love this place! I have been going there for eight years. My dogs, cats and I have always been treated well. This office is under new management by Dr. Ban and it could not have been a better turn of events for this neighborhood vet. My dog is still a young puppy, which requires a lot of visits and attention. On top of that, for a little fella he has been sick quite frequently resulting in many trips to the vet. Every visit had been a fantastic one to say the least. By my second visit, Dr. Ban and his friendly staff recognized us and treated us with their utmost kindness and concern. My pup loves going to the vet and prefers to be in their arms when we are there! Dr. Ban himself is a very young and knowledgeable professional who clearly has a lot of experience under his belt. Many vets will quickly perform procedures and make sure you have a quick in and out experience, but Dr. Ban will take his time explaining to you every detail you need to know and equipping you with knowledge on what is going on with your loved one. I am so glad I have found Dr. Ban my pup's veterinarian, and strongly recommend this office to anyone who wants their pet to be treated by professionals who care for them as if they are their own! This place is great . Dr. Ha saved my cat's eye ! Dr.Kim is also worth mentioning. My dog had a small, pink, fleshy object dangling from his rear end.. I thought for sure that it was an internal organ or bit of rectal lining. Dr. Kim carefully examined, and to my surprise, slowly pulled out the shredded remains of a pink balloon.Immediately I knew that Trevor probably ate it during my friend's baby shower... I'm very happy with Rosswinn as my preferred vet. I go to them as they came recommended by the Basset Hound rescue (Daphneyland) where I adopted my dog. They have always treated us well, and never make us wait too long to be seen. The cost of their dental cleanings, which I schedule once a year for my dog, is very reasonable. Dr. Kim has moved on into retirement, but Dr. Ban has taken over the practice. He's a fine vet, with a very practical approach, and he takes the time to be sure all my questions are answered. I was looking for a new vet to clean my dog's teeth and came here based on the reviews. Don't really recommend. First, I had an appointment with the female doctor (not dr. Kim). I don't know her name since she never really even bothered to introduce herself to me at all. She just walked in, gave my dog her shots and did a blood test before the dental cleaning. About a day later, she calls to tell me my dog has kidney failure, not really explaining what it was or what to do. I got a few more tests done with them, but overall I left feeling unhappy. Only Dr. Kim took the time to explain it to me more in detail, but they told me they couldn't clean my dogs teeth because of her kidneys. I was just given special diet food and vitamins. On top of that, they made it sound like my dog had about a year or two left to live. They told me to do blood tests every few months, to see if she would get better then they could clean her teeth. But I mean.. Why would she if you told me she's going to die soon?! Fast forward a few months later I decided not to sit around waiting for my dog to die and not being able to at least clean her teeth was just too much. I took her to another vet at Panorama Pet hospital and got a second opinion. The doctor was sooo knowledgable, took the time to explain and I felt like they cared a lot more. They gave me options on what I could do for my dog in the future, which I felt a LOT better about after leaving. On top of that, they weren't expecting my dog to die within a year or two at all! Also, turns out getting my dogs teeth cleaned was no problem as long as they injected the anesthesia. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this vet and just go elsewhere. The female doctor isn't very caring and the prices can be comparable to other places if you just look around. Read Less

I found a feral kitten in my backyard that had a badly infected eye with a stick poking out of it. It was horrifying to look at it. I took the kitten to Roswinn Pet Hospital and the doctor was very friendly. The entire staff were SUPER! I couldn't afford to pay the entire bill the next day, so the doctor only charged me for the initial office visit charge and the cost of the medication. What a great doctor and staff! I made an appointment to take my dog to get neutered here on July 3rd. I made this appointment 3 weeks ago. I drive for 45 minutes because I read great reviews and was referred here by my friend who spoke highly of this place. I finally get there with my dog at 9 am and they're closed. I call and I get the answering machine saying that they're closed for the holiday. I didn't get any calls saying my appointment was cancelled or moved and when I made the appointment, no word on it being closed, they said not to worry, it wasn't on the 4th so they'd be open. No matter how good their reviews are, something like this could have been avoided with something so simple as having competent employees with common sense to have the decency to make a phone call.
