I absolutely love Dr. Cohen and the staff at Peninsula Animal Hospital--they're as good as it gets when it comes to caring for their furry patients, along with being extremely empathetic towards the pet owners themselves.  When my cat Buddha stopped eating, I nervously started looking for a new vet (we'd just moved to town and didn't know anyone).  Everyone at Peninsula made me feel like part of the family, and Buddha received amazingly loving care.  I even boarded him there when I went out of town, and he came home a very happy cat.  It's hard to say enough good things about this veterinary office; I recommend you go see for yourself how great they are. I do not like to write this honest review because I like Dr. Cohen as a person. I have seen him for years and in that time he has misdiagnosed one cat and one dog and given FELINE HERPES to our five pound cat who previously had perfect health. She is now down to four pounds of thin cat and will suffer from this the rest of her days. He asked how I knew that he had given cat herpes to her, and I told him her congestion, sneezing and watery eyes with stys occurred four days after he saw her. Additionally, the cats are strictly indoor cats and her compagnon does not have herpes. He said, "Well, we won't do that again" and charged me full price for the visit and the expensive medication for the condition HE CAUSED! I live elsewhere now, and when I asked for records to be sent to me for the next vet, both receptionists sent email records with partial lines for each visit and no labs or imaging! I am QUITE DISSATISFIED! Read Less

my 16 yo dog had a rash that covered her body and she would itch and even lost weight to the point I thought she was going to die. I had taken her to another vet who did labs skin test and three different visits over two months but no answer and $750. I changed to Dr. Cleary who did another skin test and found the answer. It saved her life. She stopped itching, the rash went away and she gained weight I completely trust him and he is very honest. He is a great vet. Read Less
